Keiko is very knowledgeable about Japan and the history of the country and also about Tokyo. She took us to everything we asked and also suggested other places. We had a wonderful day and could not speak too highly of her. view more
The day we spent with Hiroko was fun and we saw and learned so much. By the end of the day we felt that we had spent time with a good friend. She was able to show us a great deal of her city making excellent use of public transportation. She also spoke to us about Japanese culture. Spending time and interacting with people is as valuable as visiting the impressive sites. view more
I had a business trip which brought a colleague and me to Tokyo. We are jaded travelers based out of NYC (been everywhere and know everything types! ). We let Mayumi pick the itinerary for the day, and she brought us on a thoughtful and fun tour of Tokyo. From the fish market to historical sites, she blended factual information with historical detail to put it all in context. Tokyo and Japan are sophisticated, and she made it all come to life. Mayumi has a relaxed personality, and her English is... view more
Chiaki is a very kind person. My wife and I enjoyed a 6 hour tour in Tokyo with her. She collected us at our hotel and had already prepared a great itinerary for the day. She helped us to get familiar with the metro and rail system and arranged travel cards for us. Our visit covered markets, shopping, temples, shrines and gardens. It was a super way to get a quick view of Tokyo and it’s life. Chiaki was wonderful company and was happy to have a chat about any topic with her. We would recomme... view more
Unplanned opportunity brought us to Tokyo for the first time, and booked Junichi san for a day trip.. never used this site before, but it turned out to be an amazing day! Junichi san quickly responded to my offering with a detailed proposal, and showed up punctually... and everywhere he showed, was amazing, with good story told in excellent English. He is very polite, flexible, and know amazing places... all you gotta do is to ask him! view more
In developing a tour for our interests, Yukari advised in advance certain sites closed that day so that we two couples might visit them on our own. Everywhere we went together, walking or by bus - Nagamachi Samaritan District and Nomira-ku House; Museum for Traditional Products and Crafts; Kenroku-en Garden; Higashi Chaya District and Sakuda Gold Leaf - Yukari clearly explained history, context and pointed out details we could not have appreciated without her. The insights she provided defini... view more
My family and I were enjoying our time in Japan, but struggled to really take in the culture and history of such a wonderful country and city (Tokyo). We chose to do an English tour to help us better immerse ourselves. Akira was responsive and worked with me to cover the things I thought myself and my family would enjoy most. Akira communicated well and I never had a problem speaking the entire time in English. We met Akira on time at a metro station five minutes from our hotel, which was very c... view more
