Our party of 4 booked Yuji for this day tour on April 9, 2018. Yuji was very responsive from the very beginning when we first discussed our desired itinerary, advised us on the the JR Pass details, and even made a reservation on the Mishima - Kawaguchiko bus on our behalf. We crammed a lot into this 11-hour tour. Yuji arrived at our hotel punctually at 7:30 am and had arranged for very smooth transport logistics. On the tour, Yuji was very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable on Japan's hist... view more
Shinichi is the most flexible guide we have used in our travels. We hired him only a few days before our Kyoto tour. We had other events scheduled while in Kyoto and changed our itinerary three times on him. Throughout this he was pleasant and agreeable to all our changes. I felt bad as it was apparent that he put effort into our planning. Anyway we had a great day with him. Despite changing locations he was quite familiar with them all. My guess is that he knows all the venues around Kyoto very... view more
Junko gave us a terrific insight into Japan and Tokyo. Always helpful and eager to please, Junko made our first day in Japan memorable. The tour was customized to meet our needs and we knew we were in good hands from our first contact. Well done and highly recommended. view more
For our first time in Tokyo we decided to use a local guide, we chose Mari without any previous equines, and we were pleased to find out that Mari speaks English very well, and she is an outstanding professional guide with a lot of knowledge about Japanese culture, History and Art. Beside her qualities as a guide she is a very pleasant and kind person, She literally went the extra mile to make sure that our stay in Tokyo will be smooth and unforgettable. view more
Keiko was a delight to be with. We were a group of 7 and she managed to navigate us through the subway system without problem. She contacted us before the tour and asked us about our interests and must see areas and she arranged our day accordingly. We did Tsukiji market, Asakusa, Meiji shrine, and Harajuku area then dropped us off at Shiodome station per our request so we can do a self guided tour at Odaiba in the evening. She even prepared some historical pictures so she can give us some infor... view more

Thank you Mayimi for an action packed half day tour of Tokyo in the rain. We loved the tour and we love Tokyo. Mayimi was perfect and understood well the needs of a family with young children. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour. Thanks again. Jessica, Mitchell, Roman and Scarlett. view more
We really enjoyed our time with Hideo. He was very knowledgeable, took us to great places and got us back to our ship with time to spare. He took us to excellent restaurants so that we could try delicious local foods. I would definitely recommend him. view more
I feel so lucky to find Kei as my tour guide. He made my first trip to Kyoto very enjoyable and much better than being a solitary adventurer. It was a last minute plan to visit Kyoto during cherry blossom season. Many hotels were either fully booked or charged premium price. Kei came out with an idea to stay in a hotel located in a huge Zen temple. This was a unique experience compare to regular hotel stay. By dividing the sightseeing of Kyoto into two half-day tours, I was able to see mo... view more
Akira made our visit to Tokyo very special. He was a pleasure to deal with planning the day, and was very responsive to our wants and needs. I requested a tour of the Diet Building and he arranged it so we could see inside the beautiful building and the legislative chambers. Our visit to the Fish Market was an amazing experience and Akira guided us thru an excellent lunch at a market sushi bar. He helped us understand Japanese history, gardens and culture in a very interesting and enjoyable w... view more
I had a wonderful day with Marcus. The walking tour of Mejiro that I chose was a fantastic balance of architecture and nature, modern and traditional, and different sacred buildings. Marcus was an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide. I always enjoy walking around a city, and this tour was a great snapshot of a part of Tokyo. At every stop Marcus had lots of knowledge to impart. We did quite a lot of walking, but the stops seemed to be spaced quite regularly along our route. We had lunch at a sma... view more
We enjoyed very much our family tour with Mari - it was a 5 h guided tour that ended a family holiday in Japan, and Mari was extremely helpful in communicating with us to arrange this tour to fit exactly our needs, capacities, and interests. Mari prepared a really informative printed itinerary each of us got, with a simplified version of Japan history to help us understand Japanese art history, and added color-printed images of art works and architecture points of interests that she discussed ... view more
