Kaoruko is the BEST guide we've ever had! She is very warm and friendly, super informative throughout the whole tour. She made sure that everyone is together at all times as Japan can be quite hectic at times and her hospitality is top-notch! Very passionate and genuine as well as being aware with our needs. Definitely would recommend her to anyone who is interested, you'll surely enjoy the tour experience! Hoping to meet Kaoruko again sometime in the future. view more

Moe is the best! This was just one day trip in Osaka after a group tour in Tokyo for my family of 5 people. We had a great communication prior to arrival and she showed up on time to meet us. Her English is perfect and she is very polite and knowledgeable. We spent 5 1/2 hours with her and we saw “a lot of” Osaka especially Dotonbori, Shinsekai, and Namba area. My sons wanted to skip castle/temple/shrine but we experienced great amount of true Osaka. Moe had smile on her face all the ti... view more

We spent the day with Makiko and she tailored our trip to all the sites we were interested in seeing and adjusted our trip based on the weather. She also made great suggestions about other places we should see/things to do on our other days in Tokyo. We highly recommend her and it was such a pleasure meeting her. view more

Our family had the most wonderful day touring Kyoto with Makoon. We’ve toured many cities in Asia and Europe with a private guide, and Makoon was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. Makoon created an itinerary that was perfect for our family (kids’ ages 15, 13, and 10), and he shared really interesting facts and historical context that made the sites so much more enjoyable to visit. Makoon is very thoughtful, attentive, and kind, and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. We wi... view more

Yukiko taught an origami lesson to three children, 8,10, and 12 years old. She was wonderful! She began with simple objects and moved to increasingly complicated creations as the kids caught on quickly through her patient and skillful instruction. She wore a kimono which they also loved, and really enjoyed their time with her. I'd highly recommend Yukiko to any family! view more

Mayumi San is a lovely, fun person with great English and knowledge about Tokyo. My 17 year old son and I spent 2 fantastic days ( Mon and Wed) being taken about Tokyo by Mayumi. The first day was in typhoon weather but still thoroughly enjoyable, due to Mayumi’s delightful personality and the thrill of being in this awesome city. She changed the schedule to better suit the weather and we ended up doing some specialised shopping ( very small shoes and retro gaming stuff) on our first day in G... view more

I came to Japan as a solo female traveler and figured it would be a good investment to tour the Tokyo area with a local, and I do not regret doing it with Yuki one bit. I spent about half a day with him and we went to the Tsukiji Fish Market, Akihabara, Meji Shrine, Asakusa and the Senso-Ji Temple. He was extremely accommodating (met me at my hotel and traveled with me back) and knowledgeable on the history and facts of each place we visited. The best part about being with Yuki was that he took ... view more

This was our 1st visit to Shizuoka city and we had wanted to visit the Kiwi Fruit Country and a tea experience. Hiroyo kindly agreed to guide us through the city of Kakegawa, included the 2 requested experiences and added a visit to Kakegawa Castle to complement the tour. Hiroyo was knowledgeable in guiding us around and knowing our interest in local produce, she introduced and recommended local produce souvenirs which we bought back as memory of our trip to Kakegawa and Shizuoka. Hiroyo is h... view more

Our family of four was fortunate to have Shin as our personal guide. We were visiting from Hawaii and it was the first time we travelled alone to Japan. Shin offered his help immediately after we contacted him, always responding with “ask me anything (even questions outside the booking dates). He helped us reserve our seats on the Shinkansen, and even changed the time of his ticket so he could take the Shinkansen with us when we went to Tokyo. Shin’s tour was special. It was personalized to... view more
