We had only one day to get to know the highlights of Tokyo. Masaharu did an excellent job of showing us everything we wanted to see and more. He was very patient and kind, always willing to please. During the several months before our visit, we E-mailed him innumerable times planning our tour. He always responded quickly and was flexible with all our requests. Any time we're in Tokyo, we will contact Masaharu to be our guide. We recommend him highly. He is pleasant, knowledgeable and poli... view more
She was ontime, took care of everything, led us to everything we had time to see. Ensured that we had a wonderful experience. Tours in Japan are a little expensive but she was well worth it. She handled everything including transportation, entrances and food. We never had to make any transactions. view more
Not only we found the best tour guide but we also found a Friend!! Masaki is knowledgeable, patience, organized. He loves what he does, and it's his best asset. We learned a lot from Masaki, the history of Japan, religion, also life philosophy! My husband and I are world travelers, we hired a lot of tour guides for our trips. So far Masaki is the Best. view more
Really well organized tour and well timed so we could fit in everything Mack planned for the day. Mack even went to the trouble of doing a pre visit to the fish markets to ensure we could get front row for the Tuna cutting. view more
Masato was a fantastic tour leader, very well organised, excellent local knowledge with a solid English ability. He went above and beyond to ensure the full day tour was age relevant, interesting and educational for the group. Previous to taking the tour, he did research on the areas visited and the group thoroughly enjoyed their full day exploring Tokyo. He comes highly recommended. view more
Riko did an excellent job and she is very professional. Her day plan worked perfect and we had enough time to see the pre-planned attractions and didn't loose time by transport. Her explanations are very good and all questions are answered and we learned more about Japan as we thought. always again........... thanks. Petra and Andreas view more
Makoto is a fantastic guide. He was funny, energetic, interesting, and spoke great English (he lived in the US for 10+ years.) We had so much fun on his tour. Makoto (actually, he goes by “Mac”) lives in Nara so he knows the area inside out. We saw so many beautiful temples and gardens that I would have completely missed if I just walked around with a Lonely Planet book. We fed the deer, marvelled at beautiful samurai swords and gigantic ceremonial drums, and even saw the piano that Einstei... view more
Our day with Takako was fantastic! What incredible energy this woman has! She took us all over Tokyo based on the itinerary we agreed upon, but spontaneously threw in unexpected experiences along the way that went above and beyond. She took us to see “piss alley” — a narrow street with tiny yakatori bars — and then we made an impromptu stop at one she knew and had a great time together there! What a nice, warm and classy lady. We highly recommend her. And she gave us a lovely gift at the end of ... view more
