Spent a day with Yuji as our guide visiting Hiroshima and Miajima. Yuji met us at Hiroshima station, and for the next 5 hours, he was a wonderful guide to the area. He was knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited. He organized the tour so that in our limited time, we were able to see everything on our list. We first drove to the ferry for Miajima, Yugi brought us to the Ferry operated by JR, so our JR passes allowed free passage. Once on the island, he knew all the sights to see and ... view more

We had a very great experience with Seiko! She met us at the café next to our hotel, and we walked the streets of Dotonburi on our way to Osaka Castle. She was friendly and so nice! She also brought us to Kuromon Market which was one of the best experiences of our trip! We loved it so much, we went back for more street food! She was so patient with us and gave us the ability to customize our tour and stop at places we wanted to go! It was fun getting to know her and she was very outgoing! ... view more

Mr. Yuki met us very punctually. He was very informative and kept a brisk pace, allowing us to a number of sites during the day. He handled purchasing the tickets we needed to navigate about Tokyo. The restaurant he suggested for lunch was elegant, quite and out of the way (a nice break from the heat and crowds outside). I was able to have some interesting chats related to his profession, as he was a nuclear physicist. We were fortunate to have Mr. Yuki as our guide! view more
I am so sorry to say that we missed our tour of Tokyo due to illness at the last minute. I immediately notified Michiko who sent a text a couple of times offering to do a shorter tour or assist in any way she could. So sorry we missed the tour, but she was lovely to work with and answered all my questions leading up to our tour. If we get back to Tokyo, you can be sure we will contact her. view more

Mitsui San is his name that we used over the 3 days we spent time with him. He was like a family to us and he provided the most care and attention for our travels as we have a 84 yo mum who is not agile and not able to walk long distances. He fitted in all our requests on places to visit and provide information on best spots to take the photos and even become our official photographer and our culinary guide. We had a great time as a family because of him and would not hesitate to rec... view more
We had 2 days with Hiro who is an efficient guide and very knowledgeable in Japanese history. It is easy to tell he is an ex-teacher due to the patience he had with our 2 sons. Once we had all got to know each other we had a good two days, Nara being our favourite. view more
