We enjoyed Dai a lot. He allowed us to see the area ourselves but also added in spots to our experience with his knowledge. Our trip logistics were very efficient, making our day easy. Dai was on time, delivered what was expected and very friendly. Our only suggestion for Dai is to deepen his understanding of the Hakone area...where he is newer in guiding. Dai is an expert in Tokyo area. view more
Mari was friendly and cheerful. She tried to be on the lookout for elderly accessible services like elevators and escalators. Arranged a very nice Kobe beef lunch for all of us. She tried to ensure that we leave with the Japanese experience of the origami - paper folding and showed us how Sake is made traditionally. Also made sure we got on the correct train back to Osaka Namba although I myself almost got on the wrong one! Thanks. view more
It was a pleasant and enjoyable experience travelling with Mitsu- san in his car. We were very appreciative of the transportation although it was a little difficult to get in and out for the shorter elderly or for an elderly with bad knees. Otherwise - good for family travel. He was knowledgable enough and shared what he knew of the various sites. Also helpful in assisting us with family photos. End of the day - great to be able to be dropped off at the hotel. All the best ! view more
Mitsuyuki-San has been very kind and accommodating from Day 1. We got him to pick us up from Kansai to Kyoto and we did a one day tour with him in Kyoto too. He knows the attractions well and guide us all the way. However, he has a Honda Odyssey, so travel group with more than 5 pax and big luggages will find it hard to fit in. He's one of the most reasonable priced guide in Kyoto, overall very happy with him! view more

He is smart and patient. He was super helpful especially when we needed to retrieve our bags left at the Shinkansen train. He is honest. What should I expect on our trip was been discussed in our emails. Specifically, the value of our Hakone trip with Yuki-san is cheaper than other tourist guide. view more
We had the most amazing day with Kazue during our tour in Tokyo! She is very friendly, polite and we really enjoyed our day with her visiting Tokyo! We contacted Kazue on her availability before arriving in Japan and she was very prompt to respond with ideas on how to customise our tour. After a few emails our plan was set and ready for our one-day (8hrs) tour of Tokyo. She introduced us to must-see areas, shrines/temples and food of Tokyo. The fact that she speaks perfect English, made ... view more
We had a long walking tour of the Ueno and Asakusa areas including Ueno Park and the Sensou-ji Temple. I appreciated Dai's information about the etiquette for temples and shrines. view more
If you want something customized to what is it you want, then Dai is the tour guide for you. Having visited 150 countries makes him a well traveled person. He is flexible with what you are looking for and can easily adjust schedules accordingly. Me and my family had the best time with him, as he showed us exactly what we wanted. A chill tour. I would recommend him with my friends and family. view more
Yumi was fabulous she answered all our questions with great authority , with humour and sincerity - my travelling companion and I thoroughly recommend yumi if you are looking for a private guide nothing was too much trouble for her even when we often took her off 'track' both in our sightseeing and our questions. - Yumi also brought along brochures for us which were very helpful in our days ahead in toyko- thanks to Yumi our visit to the wonderful Tokyo was made even better than we could have ... view more
