We used Kato for a one day tour of Kyoto including Fushimi, Sanjusanjen-Do temple, Gion area, Kinkaku-Ji temple, Arishiyama Monkey Park and Arishiyama Bamboo Park. He met us at Tokyo Station. From there we took buses and trains to go everywhere. Kato knew or determined which bus or train to take, the time to get to each site and the time to spend there, to get us back to the station by 5:30ish (arrived in Kyoto at 8:30am).
