Before arriving Mr. Shun very communicative and made an effort to learn our preferences, so we could maximize our day in Kyoto. He picked up at Kobe Cruise Terminal and travel with us to Kioto. On the way he handed a printed itinerary to every person as well as a timeline with the history of Japan with the important sites that we were going to visit. Mr. Shun walks fast and was tireless, took us to the best places, told us funny stories and interesting facts about Japan culture, history and ... view more

Masato was an amazing guide for our first day in Japan and Tokyo! We were traveling with our infant and needed an overview of the city and subway and introduction to Japanese food - Masato was perfect. We saw the major sites, learned the subway / rail, tried lots of food, and really got comfortable with the City. His English is excellent and his narrative of the city was fantastic! Don’t hesitate to book with Masato! view more

If you are lucky enough to find Eddy available, then please do not hesitate to book him for his tour guide services. Eddy is a very kindly gentleman, with excellent communication skills, and clearly takes pride in giving his clients the best service. Before the tour he answered our questions brilliantly and helped with other non tour related questions we had. During our tour of Tokyo Eddy was keen that we learnt some useful Japanese words, a little of the history of the sights, and entertained ... view more

Tokyo is a big city made up of dozens of neighbourhoods and each one a little different from the others. Some have huge skyscrapers, while others have structures on a more human scale. And then there are the green spaces that bring nature into the inner metropolis. This is the Tokyo that Ryuta Araki showed us, along with magnificent museums both big and small, temples with wafting incense, and the wonderful cuisine that has made Tokyo a gastronomic delight. Ryuta took into consideration our inte... view more

Our party of 4 booked Yuji for this day tour on April 9, 2018. Yuji was very responsive from the very beginning when we first discussed our desired itinerary, advised us on the the JR Pass details, and even made a reservation on the Mishima - Kawaguchiko bus on our behalf. We crammed a lot into this 11-hour tour. Yuji arrived at our hotel punctually at 7:30 am and had arranged for very smooth transport logistics. On the tour, Yuji was very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable on Japan's hist... view more

Shinichi is the most flexible guide we have used in our travels. We hired him only a few days before our Kyoto tour. We had other events scheduled while in Kyoto and changed our itinerary three times on him. Throughout this he was pleasant and agreeable to all our changes. I felt bad as it was apparent that he put effort into our planning. Anyway we had a great day with him. Despite changing locations he was quite familiar with them all. My guess is that he knows all the venues around Kyoto very... view more

For our first time in Tokyo we decided to use a local guide, we chose Mari without any previous equines, and we were pleased to find out that Mari speaks English very well, and she is an outstanding professional guide with a lot of knowledge about Japanese culture, History and Art. Beside her qualities as a guide she is a very pleasant and kind person, She literally went the extra mile to make sure that our stay in Tokyo will be smooth and unforgettable. view more

Keiko was a delight to be with. We were a group of 7 and she managed to navigate us through the subway system without problem. She contacted us before the tour and asked us about our interests and must see areas and she arranged our day accordingly. We did Tsukiji market, Asakusa, Meiji shrine, and Harajuku area then dropped us off at Shiodome station per our request so we can do a self guided tour at Odaiba in the evening. She even prepared some historical pictures so she can give us some infor... view more
