Hello everyone and Ciao a tutti! I love travelling, eating and learning languages!!
Born in Tokyo, I grew up in Chiba in eastern Japan (Kanto region) and, later in life, I worked in marketing in Hong Kong, for business for 4 years.
I am curious about languages and about the diversity of cultures in different countries. So far, I have learned English, Malay (my bachelor major), Cantonese and Italian. Some of them are rusty now. . . .
Soon after I settled down in western Japan, I experienced culture shock every day even though I am Japanese. There are big differences between eastern and western Japan in terms of food, dialect, and people's minds. I love to discover such differences in my daily life.
During my stay in Hong Kong, my friends often visited me and I found pleasure in exploring the city with them. Thanks to these experiences, I decided to be a tour guide here in Japan. I'll show you around the Kansai region with a warm welcome and a big smile as your Japanese friend!
The tours I offer are mainly in western Japan, especially in Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and Kobe. I can also customize tours upon your request. Furthermore, I feel passionate about guiding you through the vibrant region of Kansai!! Let's explore together!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Kyoto with Keiko-san! She was so responsive to questions, changes in schedule, and anything else the group needed. All elements that make for a truly wonderful guide! She even timed our visit to Arashiyama so that we would see it illuminated at night, which meant spending a little extra time with us, then helped us get to Osaka to meet a friend (who is living there) for dinner. We also got to wander Nishiki Market at our own pace and she helped us find food that was appropriate for those of us with dietary restrictions. If you're going to Kyoto, I absolutely recommend booking your tours with Keiko!
