RIchard and I had seven hours in Kyoto and he really helped me hit all the spots. He’a Knowledgeable and knows his way around the food scene which was a huge plus for me! Couldn’t recommend more.
Richard is amazing No need to keep hunting for another guide. He was incredible on our day in Kyoto and Osaka. He brought us around, told us what foods to purchase in the markets, brought us to great out of the way restaurants, showed us the best sites for the time we had and brought us to some off the tourist trap temples that we breathtaking. So much fun, so knowledgeable and he is perfectly bilingual so we had no problems getting around with our driver. We will definitely use him again when we come back into town. Best guide ever. Thank you Richard.
Thank you thank you. Ill be here until Friday..... listen, when you are with me your family. I am so happy you had a great time and I'll do it again if you ever come back ! LOL. Seriously thank you very much and I'm so happy you had a great time !
Visiting Osaka for a couple of days. I wanted to cram in as much as possible and Richard certainly helped me do that. Great communication beforehand to customise my tour and then really made every effort to add that personal touch. His knowledge of Japanese culture was excellent. I had a really good time and would recommend anyone to using Richard as your local guide.
We had a terrific jam packed day touring Kyoto with Richard! He is an excellent storyteller. He gives great insight, a sprinkle of spirituality and interesting history to his tours. We truly enjoyed his company. He was by far the best educator of history and facts of all our tour guides in Japan. You can’t go wrong picking Richard, he was wonderful!
Are you sure that you guys were with me? There must have been alcohol involved somewhere along the line. I'm guessing it was sake! Something has deluded you're thinking and you have mixed me up with some other crazy guy. LOL. I deeply appreciate your kind words and if you could take the time to write on TripAdvisor and let them know you found me on TripleLights, I would deeply appreciate it. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g298566-d13416350-Reviews-Japanese_Cultural_Tours-Osaka_Osaka_Prefecture_Kinki.html Please come again and send your friends. Let me make him part of my family Kind regards Richard
Richard is very knowledgeable on Japanese history, mythology and eastern religions and the temple and shrine visits were great. But more important for me was his knowledge of food & sake and many great places where the locals go to eat and drink. We hit quite a few of them in one night. Highly recommended.
We did hit a few didn't we Rick? Damn good singer too! I an glad the typhoon didn't stop us from having fun!
