He was very nice and patient with us. It was a great experience touring around Tokyo with Tak.
Dear Myca. Thank you for the great day with you and the beautiful girl. It was quite a busy day, but I'm happy to spend time with your family. I hope you could have a great memory. See you again. Tak
Tak is a wonderful guide, he is very professional, nice and patient. Thank you dear Tak, for the two wonderful days in Tokyo. Nadya&co
Dear Nady. Thank you for the joyful days. I still remember the smiling faces of the 2 families. In particular, I feel really happy a couple of mamas looked enjoying. I know your travel in Japan has a long way after this. If you have trouble, let me know. I think I can assist by sending you some information. I say again, thank you so much. Please good to the dads, the boys, the mom, and the girl. Tak
Tak was a very good guide. He took us on a a very varied tour of parts of Tokyo that we would not have sought since they are not typically the top things to see in Tokyo but were well worth it, especially with the explanations provided. He catered to a family with ages ranging from 13 to 79 and made it interesting for all. Thanks Tak!
Hi, Simon. Thank you for the day. That was the day I never forget. Everything went moderately and warm under the spring sunlight (actually, day after day, cold days after the day). I am happy if you enjoy Tsukiji, Hama-Rikyu Garden, and Asakusa. You must make great memories in Kanazawa, Kyoto, and Matsuyama, also. Wish you could see beautiful cherry blossoms there. If you have an opportunity to visit Japan again, let me know. I say thank you one more time. Tak
Tak makes you feel like family right from the first meeting with his preparation of a traditional Japanese candy gift. He arrived an hour earlier than scheduled on Day 1 and did not mind giving us a head start. We booked him for 10 hours for Day 1 & 2 and a half day on Day 3. He never once counted the start or end time so we really appreciated his flexibility. He understood that our goal was to go to as many attractions as possible and helped us prioritize making sure that we made it to our top attractions. He even checked out an unpopular hidden river valley for us (per our Google search) and went there to check it out for the first time a few days before our arrival - so that he could best accompany when we go there. We were very touched by Tak’s thoughtfulness and overall hospitality ta... read more
Hi, Katiya. Thank you for the super review. It was my relief you and Tim enjoyed the days, even though the rain, the wind, and the homer in the 9th frame (lol) stood in our way. You always showed me what you'd like to do. Then, it wasn't so difficult to find a clue. I love to find a new place to take my guests. At least, you gave me 3 of great experience to collect new sites, the valley, the stock market, and the boat. Thank you for the opportunities, and I hope my collection will be the many like Tim's cars. Wish you could spend great moments in Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and the flight going back to your home. I say again, thank you so much. I'll be waiting for the time to meet you and Tim again.
We spent 8 hours total (3 the first night) and 5 the second with Tak! From the first communication to the day we finished up, he was genuinely caring and thoughtful. He provided to us exactly what we wanted/needed. Our first goal was meet up with us at hotel the evening we land (after traveling for nearly 20 hours), take us to an enjoyable fun place to experience some of the culture, eat great food and learn the subways! He told us what to do when we got to the airport, and then met our train (even changed stations "on the fly" when our train didn't stop). He ensured our second day included visiting running stores (I came in for Tokyo marathon), and included sights on our way over to the expo! We had a nice Ramen lunch and did a great job explaining everything. By the time he left us o... read more
Hello, Missy. Thank you for a marvelous review for me. The voices of guests who enjoyed tours are my treasure more than anything. Thank you for pointing out for my English. I know that my English is not perfect, so I tried to prepare a lot and provide information to make my precious guests have the best moments. The memories of 2 days we spent together are everything beautiful even for the cold rain. Have a good run at Boston! Tak
Tak is the best guide ever. We saw so much in 3 hours. And he explained everything. Also had the best tempura I have had in my life. He is so friendly and knows all of the out of the way places. Whatever we were interested in he knew how to find it. Thank you Tak-san!!
And, both of you are fantastic guests. I felt utmost happiness because you enjoyed everything you saw and touched. I'm looking forward to talking to you again someday you came back to Japan. Have a good flight and I wish your memories will be kept forever. Tak
We started our travels in Japan with Tak taking us around Tokyo. We accomplished so much and had such a good time on our first day that we decided to book Tak for a second day. Tak paid attention To what we wanted to do and who we were and he was a gentle supportive presence as we acclimated ourselves to Tokyo and Japan. His good humor and warm presence felt almost familial. My son and I felt super comfortable with him and appreciated his commitment to getting us from point a to b and keeping our time somewhat structured and loose at the same time. Highly recommended!!!
Dear Neal. It was wonderful time to spend with you and Adam. Smiling faces are nothing but the best reward to us guides. You gave me nothing but the best reward by enjoying every moments of 2 days. I heard your experience in Japan goes on for more days. I believe you can find great fans in every moment in Japan. Thank you and see you someday. Tak
Dear Larry Thank you for the day. I think your long tour is still going on. Have a good rest of days till you go back to your home. Please good to your family. Thank you and best regards, Tak
Tak was fantastic. He worked with us before our trip to plan our day and offered great suggestions. Communication was throughout our planning and our day. For the day of the tour, he met us at our hotel and showed us how to use the subway system. He provided interesting facts, taught us easy ways to remember some key Japanese worlds and has a thorough knowledge of Tokyo and it’s history. He’s also quite funny. We has a lot of fun spending our first day in Tokyo with him. We highly recommend Tak as a guide to show you around the city.
Dear Kimberly Thank you for the great day and splendid 5 stars. It is the best moment when I could confirm guests spent happy time. As I said I’ll never forget smiling faces of you. I’ll try hard to join the Olympic Games in 2024 in LA, as I promised. i’ll be 68 at that time though.OMG I say again thank you so much. Tak
It was nice meeting Tak, he’s very friendly and an easy going person. Our first meeting day was somewhat unplanned and a bit complicated, but on the second day, he was able to prepare my itinerary and made it convenient for us to move around to many places through subway. I wanted to book him again after our second meeting but It was unfortunate that he didn’t have enough time to join me on the third day due to new year activities Thank you very much Tak for your kind assistance and I hope to meeting you again.
Dear Victor. They were busy days but happy to visit a lot of sight seeing spots with you.. It was also happy to assist your journey not only for the time you booked me but also days after that. I'm sorry I couldn't accept your offer to book more days. I wish your tour would be completed without any trouble. I say again thank you so much and I hope to see you again in Tokyo, Cambodia or Nigeria, someday.
Tak-san is an awesome guide who communicated in details with me before my tour. He placed a lot of effort into finding out the places in the theme of my tour and sending me the pics. We went through the highly complicated Tokyo subway system and ate the best soba I ever tasted in my life. He comes highly recommended as he will follow through with your theme of the tour. You must also have a very clear idea of what you want to see. His page lists the themed tours he did and that's why I choose him as a guide. It was a great experience!
Dear Fiona. Thank you for the splendid time. It was great opportunity for me to think about the relationship between ShintoIsm and Inari Shrines. I was impressed by your respectable behavior in shrines (in particular your chilliness to wash hands again and again in December day.) Thanks to your great contribution, I revised my profile and added "Inari Shrines tour". I say again thank you so much. Have a great rest of days in Japan. I wish you could get more and more Goshuin's.
Tak was very helpful in giving us some tips when we were planning on our itinerary. He was also flexible when we changed our mind the last minute regarding our tour, he gladly obliged. That was nice of him. We enjoyed his company.
Hi, CLEMENCIA Thank you for the day. I was lucky because comfortable sunshine and golden carpet of ginko leaves help our tour. When you visit Japan again, let me know. I’ll search information about gorges you wanted to go and produce the best itinerary without burden to your knees. Thank you and see you again.
Tak helped us book our Shinkansen tickets and gave us a lesson on the Tokyo subways ( we are very tech ignorant) and was more than happy to answer any questions and discuss any topic we brought up. The best was when we had issues with our suica card he offered to come to our hotel to help ( this was the day after our tour with him)
Dear Michael Thank you for the great day and 5 stars. I think you are in Kyoto now and I'm relieved that train tickets might work well. About the IC card, I thought probably it wasn't big problem, but for travelers, sometimes it affects as an awful uneasiness. Actually, I couldn't take subway in Singapore and walked back to my hotel walking 30 min in the heat of 35 degrees Celsius. Fortunately, I was near your hotel coincidently at that time. I thought everything went good if I could talk with train staff. I hope you have a great time on the rest of days in Japan. If you friends come to Japan someday, could you inform them that Tak is good!!
We loved that Tak took us around to some local places that were not as touristy, in addition to the tourist places. He did a wonderful job creating an agenda for us.
Dear Anne. Thank you for sending me a message. I need to apologize making you wait in several spots due to delay of the festival we went and unexpected traffic accident. I'm happy if you have good memories for the Fabric Street, the Japanese Paper Workshop and Denki Buran!!! I say thank you again and hope to see you again in Tokyo or Las Vegas. From your Pokemon Friend, Tak.
Tak and I communicated a lot about the things I am interested in, specifically the type of music I like. He searched for live music venues that fit my taste. We found Kentos in Ginza. After doing some CD shopping and seeing the food areas of the Mitsukoshi department store, we made it to Kentos. It exceeded our expectations. It was a fun night of music and dancing. It was great!
Dear Algernon Thank you for sending me a message and I'm happy you say you enjoyed the tour. Ginza Kentos really exceeded our expectations. lol It is the place I can recommend all music fans. I say again thank you so much and wish happy days for the rest of your vacation. Post Script: I saw the YouTube clip of Jasmine you recommend me. It was marvelous. In particular, I love "Dreamin'" and cover song "Fight Song". I checked her information. Her last album was released in 2014 but she still keeps on live performance. I wish you can catch her live schedule next time you visit Japan. Best regards, Tak
Tak was very nice. Communicated with us constantly regarding our tour, giving us suggestions when thw forecast for the day of our tour was rain. It was indeed raining, which we hated coz it was hard to move around the city and it was freezing cold. He tried to give us historic information regarding the sites. And gave us rise crackers as gift. I wish we could have had the tour when it was sunny. We could have enjoyed it better then.
Dear Ms. Lady Thank you so much for sending me a review, and I feel regretful I couldn't bring you perfect satisfaction. It was really terrible rainy day not like March and It was so sad I couldn't accept your request to change the date. I remember your words you say "SHIKATA YANIYO" (nothing to do for that) in perfect Japanese. I really hope to see you in sunny days in Tokyo again. I'll prepare for alternative plans for the rainy day. I say again thank you so much.
We had asked for a tour of somewhere in Tokyo combining a little cultural and especially a Pokemon Go tour for our kids. Tak went out of his way to find different locations and also brought in a Pokemon go specialist to help. It was great and the kids especially had a fab time.
Dear Richard It was a great moments I could be with your family. Your requests weren't regular but they excited me. It was great achievements that we could catch Ursaring and Magmar. Your family's great interests for the Japanese traditional drum shop unexpectedly made me happy as well. I heard your Japan tour is still going on. Please keep healthy and if something happens I can gladly help you. Let me know. I say thank you and hope to see you again. Tak
Tak was tireless in satisfying our unique agenda. He was helpful and a good friend to us. I would recommend him without reservation.
Dear Joseph. Thank you for the great moments and unforgettable memories. It was really fun to find spots according to your unique request. The days I spent with you were nothing but my treasure. I'm sure that I'll guide other travelers to the GHOST BAR and the JAPANESE PAPER CRAFT EXPERIENCE. I really want to see you and Kathy again someday. Take care and thank you so much!!!
