Hello, my name is Hina.
I was born in Hokkaido northern part of Japan, cold and snowy place.
So, I was like a mountain girl when I was a child.
I started traveling by myself when I was high school student.
I met various people through my trip, and expanded my world.
After that I came to be interested abroad, and visited many countries by myself.
Why I want to be a guide?
1) My proposal of this service is to show the ordinary life in Tokyo, Japan.
Most of tourists, include me, can do visit the typical sightseeing places themselves because of so many information and guidebooks. So, I’d like to show you the spots where are something special or not easy to find yourself. This is because I always try to find those kind of places during my traveling.
2) I have a lot of experience in customer service, for example attendant and receptionist of foreign people, bartender, telephone customer service, and so on. And I really enjoy hospitality work.
I was a not only mountain girl also I really like city life.
Tokyo is an unique city, having both aspects of traditional and modern, and they are both active.
Since Edo era, beginning of 16 C, Tokyo has been drastically developed and still continue.
For only 400 years its circumstance has big changed.
Nowadays re-evaluation of old Japanese things is increasing.
It means Tokyo is so exciting place.
What is most important and joyful things that I have learned through my experience is intercultural with people.
Now I really love to talk to people coming from all over the world.
What's more, it is definitely important for everyone, particularly the world present situation.
Hina was an excellent guide to introduce me to Tokyo. She planned the day very well, yet she was flexible to introduce some last minute changes, like an impromptu outdoor tea ceremony. As part of my day with Hina was about food, she did show me local places, where we had a great time sampling both street and restaurant fare. And she made it fun! Thank you Hina, and I hope to do it again in the future. Margaret K.
