I’m Hideaki. Just call me “Mura” or “Mura-san”. “San” means “Mr.” or "Ms." in Japanese. I have a national tour guide license in English. I have experiences to live in the following cities on business.
- Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) Four years
- Nantong (China) One and half years,
- Jakarta (Indonesia) One and half years
- Baton Rouge (Louisiana, USA) Two years.
My hobbies are playing golf, listening classical music and watching football.
My basic policy as a tour guide is to entertain my guests with my best hospitality. I really like to see my guests smiling. I myself also enjoy chatting with my guest about not only a general explanation about Japanese culture and history but everything based on my experiences and hobbies.
Let’s enjoy a wonderful tour in Japan !

Hideaki is a very professional guide with excellent manners. He answered every question that we asked prior to our visit very promptly. He is a very detailed person and he gave us complete details of every expense that we are likely to incur apart from the guide fees with accurate details. He speaks well and quite easy to communicate and does not hurry you up while gently hinting the time limits at various places. He talked a bit about the culture of Japanese while at the same time contrasting with other cultures. He is quite flexible and was very helpful to getting us tickets for return to airport , money exchanges, showing us the easiest way to reach the express bus stand , how to reach by the easiest way to the hotel from airport ( though he was not the guide for that), how to take a m... leer más
Ramesh-san. Thank you very much for your review. I hope you enjoy the tours to Nikko and Mt. Fuji. I also had a good time chatting with you and your wife. We were very lucky that we could see a full view of Mt. Fuji. Thank you again. Hideaki Murayama
Hideaki was a stellar guide from the very beginning as he helped us organize the lengthy transportation towards Mount Fuji. To each site that we stopped and each meal we had he never stopped being respectful and supportive to our experience. Hideaki was easy to talk to and a great person to spend our final day in Tokyo with. He was a wonderful guide.
Jeffrey-san. Thank you very much for your review. As your family is so nice, I also shared a pleasant time. I think we enjoyed a peaceful time at the Mt. Fuji viewing spots, even though we, unfortunately, were not able to see a full view of Mt. Fuji. Thank you again. Hideaki Murayama
Very organised, punctual. Everything was extremely well planned. We have been extremely happy to have Mr Hideaki as our guide.
Paola-san. Thank you very much for your review. As your family is so nice, I also shared a pleasant time. We enjoyed a peaceful time at the Open Air Museum. Especially, at the foot bath. Thank you again. Hideaki Murayama
Hideaki was an excellent guide with a very good english and he have a good knowledge of Nikko. He also answered to my questions about the japanese culture and religion. Also a good advice for a restaurant whith excellent sushi and sashimi. So I recomment Hideaki. When i booked my trip to Japan, i ignored the 1st week of may is known as the Golden Week where administrations are closed and where most japanese are on vacations so it means this week, all tourist attractions are crowded and next time i will avoid that specific week
Christine-san. Thank you very much for your review. I hope you enjoyed the Nikko tour. I also had a good time chatting with you. Normally in Japan, we have one-week holiday three times a year. From the end of April to the beginning of May. Mid of August. From the end of December to the beginning of January. Almost all sightseeing spots are super crowded. Honestly speaking, I recommend you to avoid a tip in Japan during these days. Thank you again. Hideaki Murayama
I would highly recommend Mr. Hideaki was very accommodating in going to were I was wanting to see. He responded very promptly before we booked and also after booking. Very organized and planned out our day and went over it with me ahead of time, no surprises. The tea testing was great and very informative. I highly recommend it. We like to eat at local places and the lunch was really good. If you want flavored kitkats be sure and have him take you to Don Quijote oh so many flavors. Thank you for a great day!!
Barbara-san. Thank you very much for your review. I’m very glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour. I also had a good time talking with you and you husband. Yes. The tea tasting workshop was great, and I learned a lot about Japanese tea. Please enjoy KitKat party when you go back to your country. Thank you again. Hideaki Murayama
