Rick did a perfect job selecting some highlights while working in our requests and making the most efficient use of our time together. He was very knowledgeable about the historical sights we visited. We're so happy to have chosen a licensed guide so that we could have comfort knowing the level of communication we would be able to have in addition to Rick having his own pass for entry into most of the places we visited.
Dear Jenner, Thank you very much for the nice review! It was my pleasure guiding through the sights in Kyoto and we had a nice time as in viewing the autumn leaves in Kyoto Imperial palace with lunch or visiting Sake brewery museum and so on. I also enjoyed a lot talking with all of your families who are so nice! I hope you keep good memories in Kyoto and come back someday in future. Best regards, Rick
Rick is a very modest but knowledgeable man. His english may not be as fluent but enough to understand the beautiful stories behind every location we visited. He showed us the gorgeous nanzenji, ginkakuji and gion district, all in 5 hours. The Maiko dinner experience after that was awesome! The girls were a blast and the Maiko was magical! Highly recommend! Thank you!
Dear Kim, Thank you very much for the nice review! I am glad you enjoyed the tour and the Maiko dinner. It was so nice timing to see the autumn leaves especially in Nanzenji and I also enjoyed the scenery with talking various things with you. I hope you keep nice memories in Kyoto and come back someday in future. Best regards, Rick
Rick was very informative and attentive to details. We enjoyed our experiences in Kyoto very much, even if it was only for a day. I wish we could spend more time in the city. But for the day we were there, we couldn't ask for a better guide! Thank you, Rick!
Dear Panisa, Thank you very much for the nice review! It was my pleasure to have guided you around Kyoto. I remember that the Nanzennji was most beautiful timing with autumn leaves and we had a nice time walking through the area. I hope you will keep good memories in Kyoto and come back someday in future. Best regards, Rick
Rick was extremely helpful across our two-day tour of Kyoto and Nara! We sent him a long list of specific requests, which he had clearly reviewed carefully to create the plans for our tours. He was very knowledgeable and highlighted lots of interesting information for us along the way in Kyoto especially. He was also very considerate of my bad knee and slow walking speed, and kindly highlighted opportunities for us to choose between walking, taking public transportation, or taking taxis between destinations. Thank you, Rick! We enjoyed our time with you very much!
Dear Cyndy and Bill, Thank you very much for the nice and kind review for me! I am glad that you enjoyed the tour. I suppose you took beautiful pictures in Kyoto and Nara which are memorable for you and it was my pleasure to be some help for you. I hope you will come back to Kyoto someday in future. Best regards, Rick
It was a pleasure spending our day in Kyoto with Rick. He was patient, thoughtful and very informative. We would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Kyoto.
Dear William, Thank you very much for your nice review! I am glad that you and your families enjoyed the tour. All of your family members are nice and we had enjoyed in each spot, especially in Nishiki market with eating and talking through the market. I hope you will come back Kyoto sometime in future. Best regards, Rick
