Hi, everyone! I'm Hisako, a Government Certified Guide Interpreter. Since 2014, as a volunteer guide, I have taken more than 100 foreign tourists from about 30 countries to many famous spots around Tokyo such as the East Garden of the Imperial Palace, the Asakusa area, the Meiji-Jingu shrine and Harajuku area, Tsukiji fish market, and so on.
I used to be an exchange student and had lived a foreign country with local people. The experience taught me how interesting the differences between countries were. Now I am glad to share these interesting things with many foreign tourists.
I love to study about our history and culture such as Kimono, the Japanese traditional clothes, Kabuki, the Japanese traditional musical, Ukiyo-e, the traditional wood-block printing, etc. If you join my tour, I would like you to show and enjoy them.
I really look forward to meeting you here in Japan, and hope I would be your good helper, so please feel free to ask anything.
Thank you, see you SOON!

Hisako was able to navigate me around Takeshita Street - fortunately it wasn’t as crowded as the weekend. I was taken to the famous crossing and got to cross more than once!! Then I did a bit of Vintage shopping/ which I loved, followed by having a chance to eat Takoyaki in Cat Street. Thanks again!!
Thank you very much for such a warm message, Roz! I was also enjoyed walking with you so much. Hope you enjoy tomorrow, too!
Hisako is delightful company and I enjoyed seeing elements of traditional and contemporary Tokyo in a one day tour with her. The highly informative tour exceeded expectations and included finding a place for vegetarian lunch as well as visiting a tea house.
Dear Mark, Thank you so much for your review. I am so impressed and happy to hear from you! Hope you come again someday, then I would like to take you to the Basho Musium. See you then. Sincerely, Hisako
Went on a short tour with Hisako in Asakusa. I’ve been there before but I wanted to know more about the place. :) she very nicely accommodated our request to an earlier time and took us to a place that’s not so pricey to have lunch. ^.^ Hisako taught us how to properly enter a temple (Senso-ji), took us through a bit of shopping (I did get to buy a haori jacket from that kimono shop she told us about - reasonably priced, too!) and even helped us look for a Hanya mask for my brother. At the end of the tour, she dropped us off at the kimono rental shop. :) All in all, we had a very nice time with her. Till next time, Hisako! :D
Dear Frances, Thank you very much for your feed back. I'm so happy to hear you'd enjoy Asakusa even you'd already been there before. Thank you again and hope we meet together again someday! Regards Hisako
We had a wonderful tour and a great time. The guide, Hisako, got us everywhere in good fashion and keep us dry during a rain storm. Her insights at the Edo Museum and the Imperial Gardens were so helpful to our day.
Dear Mr.&Mrs.Howard, Thank you very much for your kindly review. I also enjoyed to have been with you that day. Hope you come back to Tokyo meet with you again soon in the future! Thank you again and best wishes. Hisako
