Hi, I'm Mari. Welcome to Japan!
I'm a government certified English tour guide. I would love to help you discover more of
Japan. I went to high school in Georgia, USA and studied Biology at State University of New York. I love traveling and meeting people.
In my tour, it's my pleasure to offer a mini culture lecture such as folding paper(making a crane out of a piece of paper) and kanji of its fascinating structure. Also, please let me know if you wish to arrange a tour for your own interest.

Yes, you can and you may be able to get a discount if you are traveling alone. Price depends on which guide you choose.
The tour was great, except for unexpected transportation expenses, and not warned about cash issues. Waiting for a congested bus to take us to another destination was also dissatisfying.
Mari met us at cruise terminal in Kobe and then we boared our TR Taxi and went to Kyoto. She showed us all the important sights and knowledge of everything and explained in detail. Her English was very good. We had her for 2 days and enjoyed every minute of our tour. I will recommend her to anyone travelling to Kyoto.
Mari was great. We were a very difficult group to work with due to dietary restrictions and a packed itinerary. She helped us trim the unnecessary sites off of our list so that we could focus on the truly must-see places. She was very flexible with our schedule (by our last day we were pretty tired and needed to eliminate some sites). She was very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend Mari as a guide.
Unfortunately, I got sick on the day of the tour. But I talked to my group and asked about Ms Mari. They told me that Ms Mari is so kind, came on time and spoke softly. She was so fast in walking as per my group! But they managed to follow her. She explained every detail to them. Two thumbs up!
Mari was excellent in both the planning and the tour itself. She was great in corresponding with me on the decisions of how to plan the day. She was so great that we booked a second tour with her based upon the planning of the first. The tour was perfectly executed and we maintained the schedule. Mari is such a pleasant person it was a joy to tour with her.
