Hi, I'm Mari. Welcome to Japan!
I'm a government certified English tour guide. I would love to help you discover more of
Japan. I went to high school in Georgia, USA and studied Biology at State University of New York. I love traveling and meeting people.
In my tour, it's my pleasure to offer a mini culture lecture such as folding paper(making a crane out of a piece of paper) and kanji of its fascinating structure. Also, please let me know if you wish to arrange a tour for your own interest.

Mari is a lovely, intelligent woman with perfect English. We spent a wonderful day with her in Kyoto. She has complete knowledge of public transportation and even did a dry run of our itinery before we arrived. Time is limited off a cruise ship. Best to spend two days with Mari
We have very pleasant experience of a day guide tour by Mari. Very precise and detail planning To make sure your day is well spend. If you want to optimize your stay in Kobe , going through Mari is a good choice
Mari met our group at the ship's pier and we rode the Portliner Tram to the Kobe Train Station. We took the train to Himeji and walked five blocks to the Himeji Castle. Mari was an outstanding tour guide and shared her knowledge of the region, the history of the castle and answered all of our queries. Her explanations were thorough and we learned a lot about this area. We shared a delightful lunch and returned to the ship's port in Kobe. This was a very enjoyable tour with Mari as our tour guide.
Mari was our guide for Osaka. Her English is excellent as is her knowledge. If she did not know the answer to one of our questions she wouldn't hesitate to ask someone nearby. She was very pleasant and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her as a tour guide.
She took extra time to show me an area out of her comfort zone, and time. I really appreciate it. I had such a great time
