We were a family of four including two teenagers. We had a full day trip of Kyoto with Katsuko. She showed us Fishimi Inari, Arashiyama, Monkey Park, Nishishinjuku Market. We used the public transport but she made it very efficient. She is very knowledgeable about the history and told of lot of tit bits. It was one of the hottest days when we toured with her but she made sure we were comfortable. She is very soft spoken. I would highly recommend her without reservations. I will definitely use her services again. Thanks Katsuko for you help!!
Dear Premila, Thank you very much for your kind review. It was so nice meeting you and your family, and I truly enjoyed the tour with you all. You are a person who has a strong will, and you showed me the importance of never giving up - I really appreciate it. Please take care, and I hope to see you sometime in the future. Warmest Regards, Katsuko Ozaki
Katsuko was very professional and knowledgeable, always prompt to respond to our inquires prior to the trip. Based on our preferences, she planned an itinerary that focused on the gardens of Kyoto, the bamboo forest (including the beautiful Okochi Sanso Garden) and the Monkey Park. Katsuko was very flexible, she re-adjusted our schedule towards the end of the day when we faltered due to the excessive heat and suggested a small, secluded, but beautiful garden (Murin-an) - a perfect conclusion to a great day in Kyoto. Katsuko was not overbearing, she always managed to find the right balance between providing useful information and then letting us walk quietly for a bit, which we really appreciated. We would warmly recommend Katsuko.
Dear Mina, Thank you very much for your kind review. It was so lovely meeting you and I'm pleased to know that you enjoyed the tour. You are such a nice family close to each other and I truly enjoyed the day with you. I really hope to see you again sometime in the future. Best Wishes, Katsuko Ozaki
Kyoto tour was good except it finished earlier bc of rain. We were told of alternate areas to be visited however were not taken there so was disappointed.
Dear Shela, I sincerely appreciate your taking time to provide your feedback. On the day of the tour, probably I was too concerned about the weather and to prevent you from soaking wet, which resulted in we missed to visit some places. I'll take your feedback into consideration for future improvement. I wish you all the best. Katsuko Ozaki
We just completed 2 days with Katsuko In Kyoto. She is well travelled and her English is excellent Her knowledge on all the sites we visited was outstanding and our brief of wanting to visit traditional Japanese gardens was delivered to our full satisfaction . We moved around Kyoto in buses , trains and taxis to make the most of our time. She booked an amazing restaurant for lunch in Kifune (after liaison with us ) that had platforms over the river where tables are set up.The food was traditional Japanese and delicious. We were most impressed with Katsuko and would definitely recommend her for any guide work in Kyoto.
Dear Andrew, Many thanks for your kind review. It was really nice meeting you and I truly enjoyed the two days with you. It was so nice to see a lovely couple like you two. Wish you both love and happiness for many years to come, and hope to see you again sometime in the future. Warmest regards, Katsuko Ozaki
Katsuko is a brilliant tour guide. She is so friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and patient. I had told her the places we wanted to see, and she planned the most efficient ways for us to travel. As we toured each site she told us many interesting facts about the history and culture. I just wish I could remember it all! I would definitely recommend booking a tour with Katsuko.
