Keiko did a great job despite the bad weather. Communication with her was smooth and friendly. She really did a great job and I would recommend her if you want a nice guide in Tokyo.
Dear Laurene, Thank you very much for your wonderful review. You tried to have a good time together in the cold rainy weather. Fortunately you were able to see beautiful Kawazu-sakura cherry blossoms in Yoyogi Park. Then you enjoyed tonkotsu-ramen. I hope you will come back to Tokyo someday and find other faces of Tokyo. Please say hello to your friends. Many Thanks, Keiko
I had one day trip with keiko. We went famous sites, where I had an unique experience about Japanese culture and we tried several Japanese sweets and had a Teppanyaki lunch. It was rainy day but it was delightful. The day Tokyo was also hosting Marathon, some streets were blocked. Keiko was well planned, at end of trip she guided me back to hotel without much of delay. A day trip was memorable.
Dear Vincent, Thank you very much for your wonderful review of my tour. I am very glad to know that you enjoyed my tour. Because it was cold and rainy and some roads were closed for Tokyo Marathon. So I had to ask you to walk longer than usual in the uncomfortable situation. You tasted various kinds of Japanese food including umeboshi( plum pickles), salt, vegetable tea, nuts...etc while we talked about various things about social things , culture,...etc. I hope you will come back to Japan and enjoy other kinds of Japanese food with me. Best Regards, Keiko
We had a great time with Keiko, who showed us around like an old friend. She was pleasant to be with and very accommodating. More than her knowledge of the city and its culture, she shared valuable tips that will allow us to enjoy Tokyo on our own.
Dear Lissette, Thank you very much for your wonderful review of my tour. I was really happy having a tour with you. And I think all the people you met during the tour felt in the same way. Knife masters at Asakusa, a paper shop owner, sushi chefs at Tsukiji, they looked very happy with smile when you said good-bye to them. I hope you will have great and fruitful days in Tokyo and go back to your country safely. I am looking forward to seeing you again in Tokyo. Please say hello to your husband. Best Regards Keiko
We just wanted to express our appreciation for the 8 hour guided tour of Tokyo that Keiko provided for us, a couple visiting Japan for the first time. Her communication before our trip was exemplary, and her teaching experience as well as knowledge of Japanese history and culture gave us an ideal first day of our ten day visit. It helped us to quickly understand practical matters such as the transportation system and gave us valuable local perspectives on society, religion and customs. In addition, we were able to see much more than we otherwise would have been able to. We are very much looking forward to our next visit.
Dear Bjorn I am very grateful for your wonderful review of my tour. I was very impressed by the fact that you tried to understand Japanese way of living or thinking through experiencing . It was my good opportunity for me to talk about it during the tour and reminded me of the difference and similarity between our cultures. I hope you will come back to Japan and find other faces of it. I am very much looking forward to seeing you again, too . Thank you very much for your kindness. Keiko
We came to Tokyo just before New Years and didn't have a lot of time, so we booked our day with Keiko. She reached out ahead of our arrival to confirm to discuss our preferences. Keiko is very professional and prepared to make the most of your time in Tokyo. Her English is very good and being a former teacher you can tell how much she enjoys teaching. She taught us about the Japanese New Year traditions, how to use the public train systems and the local landmarks we asked to see. We spent a complete full day with her and it was the best thing we could have done. I wish our stay in Tokyo was longer so we could have seen more. We will definitely book Keikl again when returning to Tokyo. It was an amazing day. Tim & Michelle Smith Brentwood, California
Dear Tim Thank you very much for a wonderful review of my tour. You came to Tokyo just before the New Years , so every place you visited were beautifully decorated especially for New Years with pine trees and bamboo branches and people were busy preparing for it. At Tsukiji Fish Market, they sold special food for it like auspicious colored fish cakes, herring roe, cooked marrons ...etc. A lot of Japanese people visited there as well as foreign tourists. At Asakusa, Nakamise shopping street was also decorated with special ornaments like auspicious rice cakes, Kites, tops...etc. It was my pleasure to tell you about those traditional things. Because you were so interested in each of them. I hope you will come back to Tokyo in a different season to enjoy different face of it. I am looking fo... read more
Thank you Keiko for a wonderful and interesting introduction to Tokyo. We all enjoyed listening to your interesting stories and explanations about Japanese history and culture.
Dear Emma, Thank you very much for your wonderful review of my tour. I was really happy with people who were interested in my explanations about Japanese history and culture. I hope you will have a great time during your stay in Japan. Please say hello to your husband and a beautiful girl and a kawaii girl. Many Thanks, Keiko
It was a very wonderful experience to be guided by Keiko in Tokyo. She explains the history and culture very well. Keiko is very patient and accommodating. She acceded to our requests and made the experience sight seeing around north part of Tokyo very memorable. Thank you, Keiko!
Dear Anita Thank you very much for your wonderful review of my tour. It was a memorable tour for me, too. Through this tour, I was able to know more about Islam. It is fantastic. At the same time, I found some similar points with ours in your culture. Has the lucky boy already been using the new camera ? Maybe he took beautiful Mt. Fuji with it. I hope you will have great days in Japan and go back to your country in safe. I am looking forward to seeing you again here in Tokyo. Please say hello to your lucky and clever boy. Best Regards, Keiko
We had a great 2 days with Keiko. She was punctual and flexible when we asked her to meet us at our hotel even though it was out of her way. We were able to adjust our itinerary each day based on what we wanted to do. She knew all the places to get free samples at the Tsukiji fish market. We wanted to sample Japanese food so she took us to several places. She pointed out the best places to take pictures. She provided interesting information about each of the sites we visited. We rode a lot of trains and she got us around quickly. We highly recommend Keiko.
Dear Sandra, Thank you very much for your wonderful review of my tour. The days with me were the first two days of your trip around Japan, so I tried to inform the general aspects of Japanese culture. I was very happy because you were so enthusiastic that you often took notes and took pictures. I sometimes talked how your country influenced on Japanese modernization, and each time I did , you said that your country also was influenced from ours. I also wanted you to try as much Japanese food as possible. You courageously tried various kinds of Japanese food. I hope you will enjoy the rest of your trip in Japan and go back to your country with wonderful memories. Please say hello to your kind and friendly family members. Best Wishes, Keiko
We had a wonderful half day with Keiko! She met us at our hotel and showed us how to get to the train station and buy tickets and how to get around. We went to two areas in Tokyo and saw lots of places and learned lots of interesting things. She went above and beyond and took us to our next place we wanted to go even though it was after 1pm. My kids enjoyed her and we would use her again! Thank you Keiko!
Dear Tiffany Thank you very much for a wonderful review of my tour ! First we visited Tsukiji Fish Market. It was a special day for the Market; it was the last day for them to open the Inner market there. You bought big berries there. They were so delicious, weren't they ? Then we moved to Asakusa. You enjoyed traditional Japanese sweets. You and your family members enjoyed everywhere I shouwed , and it was my greatest pleasure. I hope you will have a good time during your stay in Japan. I also wish to see you again in Tokyo in the near future. Many thanks, Keiko
Our tour was threatened with cancellation as a result of Typhoon "Trami" however Kieto kept on top of things and we agreed a small change in timings which allowed the tour to take place. Her tour was as discussed, at a suitable pace and very informative. We saw in our seven hours more than we could have done on our own in a week. All travel arrangements were handled by Kieto and involved several metro trips and a bus trip all of which were done seamlessly Many thanks Kieto "A GREAT DAY TO REMEMBER" Robert Janet William Irene.
Dear Robert, Janet, William, Irene, Thank you very much for a wonderful review of my tour with you. I am very happy to know that you enjoyed Tokyo with me. First,I worried about cancellation because of the typhoon, but fortunately we were able to start the tour by changing some parts. I really feel sorry that I couldn't help but asking you to walk long and climb stairs. At the same time I was very impressed by your sense of humor. It helped make our tour very interesting and friendly . Thank you very much .(Do-mo arigato gozaimashita ) I am looking forward to seeing you in the near future in Tokyo again. Best Wishes, Keiko.
We very much enjoyed our two days customized Tokyo itinerary with Keiko. There is no way we could have seen as many of the sights in Tokyo over that period and absolutely no way we could have understood so much of Japanese history related to the sites we were seeing and generally without Keiko. Keiko assisted us in designing two great days, was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you!
Dear John, Thank you very much for your wonderful review of my tour. I also would like to say thank you and your friend for great days you gave me. You were so interested in what I talked and tried to understand Japanese culture and history , and sometimes tried to adjust to it. It was my greatest pleasure to share the time with you talking about Japan and Japanese culture. I hope you will have a fantastic time in other local parts of Japan and go back to your country safely. I am looking forward to seeing you again in the near future in Tokyo. Please say hello to your friend. Best Wishes, Keiko
Keiko was a really knowledgeable and friendly guide. She travelled to meet us at our hotel, which was outside Tokyo in Kawasaki, and helped us to navigate the public transport system. She was very informative about the places we visited, and was able to give us many details about the history behind the sights. She was very friendly, and patient with our large group of people - which was indeed a challenge with such a variety of different ages, interests and abilities. We appreciated her flexibility to make changes to the tour schedule - and we were impressed with the amount of things we were able to see, given the time available. It was a perfect introduction to Tokyo! Thank you Keiko!
Dear Stella, Thank you very much for a wonderful review about my tour ! It was a great experience to me , too. Because each of you were from different parts of the earth and had different cultural background. I was lucky to guide such an interesting group of people. You told me about your own culture and experiences. It's really fun to me. You were flexible and respected other's opinion. I think this is the point we should learn to keep peace in the world. Anyway, I am really relieved to know that you enjoyed the tour with me. I remember you saw beautiful wedding couples in kimono , you challenged soba noodles with chopsticks, etc . I hope you will have wonderful days in Japan and go back to each of your countries with good memories. Many thanks to all of you ! Especially Stella, t... read more
We had decided we needed a guide to assist us with traversing the trains system and finding interesting places without getting lost! Keiko really knew the history of the areas we visited. We had a list of must sees and some places Keiko hadn’t seen before ( Nissan Crossing for getting a coffee with your face printed on it!) She was the most polite and lovely lady. It was definitely an amazing three days and we missed her after we parted. She was amazing with our 12 yr old, and they spoke at length about various things, history, food, everyday Japan and Shintoism. I would not hesitate to use Keiko again! It was the best three days of our trip so far.
Dear Jodi, Thank you very much for your review of my tour. I spent fantastic days with you and your families. You had researched a lot about Japan, so I was able to show you where you were interested in. There were places I hadn't known before such as Ginza coffee, Jiro. They are all good memories. I miss every thing. But especially I miss the clever boy. He listened carefully to what I talked and asked me a lot of good questions. Sometimes it was a kind of philosophical. I hope you will have a good time the rest of your trip as much as possible and go back to your country with good memories. I wish I will be able to see you again in the near future in Tokyo. Best Regards, Keiko
Keiko was excellent! Very informative and nice! We had a wonderful tour despite the heat.
Dear MaryAnn, Thank you very much for your nice review. I was very happy to share good time with you during my Tokyo tour. I especially remember you enjoyed interesting lunch, ASIMO robot, Gundum robot...etc. I guess you had a good time at Takeshita shopping street, didn't you ?. I hope I will be able to see you in the near future in Tokyo. Please say hello to all of your families. Best Wishes, Keiko
We had an amazing day with our lovely tour guide Keiko. She is very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Japan and Tokyo (history, everything about the temples we visited, custom, ...). She knows authentic places to eat & drink. It was a real pleasure spending the day with her.
Dear Ralf, Thank you very much for writing a wonderful review of my tour. I was so happy showing you around Tokyo because all of you were so enthusiastic in experiencing Japanese culture and tradition. Especially I was really glad that you were able to see a wedding couple in traditional costume at Meiji shrine and beautiful portable shrines at Asakusa. I also remember you tried ramen for lunch and Japanese sweets( ningyo yaki) and kalpis( white drink) and tsukudani( seasoned with soy sauce and sugar). All of them are good memory to me. I hope you will enjoy the rest of your days in Japan and I will be able to see you again in the near future. Arigato Gozaimashita(Thank you very much) Keiko
Keiko was our ideal guide, providing lots of information without us needing to ask. Her knowledge of history is wonderful. Exactly what we wanted. She even brought photos of the Imperial family and illustrations of what Tokyo looked like in the past. She guided us seamlessly around Senso-ji Temple, it's market street and Imado Shrine. Imado was a new one for her but Keiko still provided us plenty of information about it. We had four different guides for our 10 day trip to Japan and Keiko was by far the best!
Dear Bethany, Thank you very much for a wonderful review of my tour. You were so interested in the history of Asakusa , and it was my pleasure to show you around historical parts of it as well as popular parts. It was my first visit to Imado shrine, and I was able to imagine the traditional atmosphere of it in Edo period. Also you found an interesting shop: traditional candy handcraft shop. I was really happy to have a good time talking about history. Thank you very much. I hope I will be able to show you another historical places in Tokyo. Please say hello to your friend. Best Wishes, Keiko
Keiko was just what we were looking for in a tour guide. She was personable, spoke English well and showed us her country like only she could do. After leaving her we went on a cruise and after each tour we all said we wished we could have found another tour guide from Triple Lights in stead of the big ship tour guides!
Dear Wendy, Thank you very much for a wonderful review of my tour. All of you tried to experience Japanese culture very positively like Scarlet Ohara in "Gone with the wind". For example, you tasted sweet eggs at Tsukiji Fish market, you tried to manipulate chopsticks during lunch time, tried to remember "arigatou" or "thank you". You looked very happy when you took pictures of young girls in kimono under cherry blossoms. I 'd like to show you different Japan in different season. I'm looking forward to seeing you in the near future in Tokyo. Please say hello to your friends. Best Wishes, Keiko
My family and I enjoyed our tour with Keiko very much. We had a half day tour with her at Tsukiji market and Ginza. She was knowledgeable and very patient with our group of 6. We all had a great time, and definitely would book her again in the future!
Dear Tami, Thank you very much for a wonderful review of my tour. I think you tasted most delicious food at Tsukiji Fish market. I remember you were going to have a party with a lot of delicious food and dishes from Tsukiji and Ginza. I am sure you had really a good time with your family. I am looking forward to seeing all of you in the near future in Tokyo. Please say hello to your families. Best Regards, Keiko
Ms. Kieko is very helpful and knowledgeable in guiding us to the different tourist spots. And she tried her best and succeeded in finding the last part of cherry blossom trees which we longed to see. A very excellent guide. We enjoyed our trip with her
Dear Charnette Thank you very much for a wonderful review of my tour. I was very happy that you enjoyed the last view of cherry blossoms with your family. They looked so brilliant, didn't they ? Cherry blossoms must have been happy being blessed so much with you. I hope I will be able to see you again in Tokyo. Please say hello to your family members. Best Wishes, Keiko
Keiko was a delight to be with. We were a group of 7 and she managed to navigate us through the subway system without problem. She contacted us before the tour and asked us about our interests and must see areas and she arranged our day accordingly. We did Tsukiji market, Asakusa, Meiji shrine, and Harajuku area then dropped us off at Shiodome station per our request so we can do a self guided tour at Odaiba in the evening. She even prepared some historical pictures so she can give us some information while riding the train. Will definitely recommend Keiko! 😀
Dear Sarah Thank you very much for a wonderful review of my tour. I am very happy to know that you had a good time in Tokyo. Your family enjoyed everywhere you visited together. It was so impressive to me and made me happy. Even at Asakusa where we had ramen and some people had hard time using chopsticks, you looked delightful. I am relieved to know that you enjoyed Odaiba after I left you there, because it is a little bit complicated to get . There are many places to see in Tokyo. I am looking forward to seeing you again in Tokyo in the near future. Please say hello to your family members. Best Wishes, Keiko
She was very flexible and patient with our family of 5 that included 3 kids. We had a great day that seemed to go by quickly due to get expert guide work and flexible schedule
Dear Todd, Thank you very much for a wonderful review of my tour. I was very happy to be able to help you have a memorial holidays in Tokyo. I was very impressed that Todd was so interested in Tsukiji Fish Inner Market that you walked to the end of it, and other members including three kids followed you very patiently. Then we had a break on top of a building at Shiodome enjoying a breathtaking view. Your family looked so happy , and it happened at Kabuki, Tokyo Station, Akihabara, too. I hope you will come back to Tokyo in the near future and I will be able to see you again. Please say hello to your families. Best Wishes, Keiko
Keiko arranged itineraries around my specific interests and gave some excellent advice. If you are meeting in any of the large stations check which line as well as the platform number, for example Tokyo station has two different platforms 4 in the same building! I managed to get lost! When I did meet up with Keiko I was impressed with her level of preparation, her knowledge and her fluency and very much enjoyed our time together.
Dear June Thank you very much for your kind review. I really feel sorry that I was not able to show you Sakura. I should have explained more details about Tokyo station. However I am relieved to know that you enjoyed my Yanaka tour. You enjoyed not only buildings and streets but also Japanese culture, such as hand crafts and food. It's also fun to me to visit fabric streets at Nippori. You taught me a lot about British culture and it's very interesting to me. Thank you very much. I hope you will come back to Japan in the near future and I will be able to see you again. Best Wishes Keiko
Keiko is a very good tour guide. She knows very well about the history of Tokyo. She made sure we are comfortable while on tour. We are also able to follow the itinerary as expected. She took care of me and my family very well. I would definitely recommend her as a tour guide.
Dear Ariane, Thank you very much for your wonderful review of my tour. Every time I explain about the historical background of the place, all of you listened to me so carefully. That encouraged me a lot. Thank you very much. Another thing I was so impressed was that all of you were good at finding suitable places for pictures. I'll remember those places for other guests. I hope you and your family will come back to Japan in the near future and enjoy Tokyo together again. I'd be very glad if you could say hello to your families. Best Regards, Keiko
we made an arrangement trip with Keiko the 1st day we're arrived in Tokyo. We need someone that can guide us around tokyo in a short time. And Keiko is the right person to do that. she helps me and my daughter to know more about Japan culture. I would recommended her to my friends & family when they came to Japan. Thank you Keiko
Dear Dlisa, Thank you so much for your wonderful review of my tour. I am very glad that you enjoyed my tour with your children. It was a good experience for me to know about sneakers shops at Omotesando shopping street. I think all of you will find another interesting face of Tokyo as you grow older. so please come back again to enjoy them. Best wishes, Keiko
We enjoyed our tour very much. We only had 3 days in Tokyo and Keiko gave us a great insight into the area on our first day. We had our 2 teenage daughters with us and the tour appealed to them very much.
Dear Sandra, Thank you very much for your nice review of my tour. I was very glad to show you how Japanese people traditionally spend NYE and appreciate the New Year. All of you listened to what I talked very carefully, even though you were so tired after a long trip from the last city. It encouraged me a lot. Thank you very much. I heartily hope all of you will have a happy new year and your wishes will come true. Best regards, Keiko
We are an Australian family with 2 teenage children. We organised Keiko for a one day tour of Tokyo and a one day tour of Hakone. Keiko was delightful, on time, organised and knowledgeable. Her English was very good and she related to adults and teenagers well. She managed to fit a lot into the 2 days without feeling hurried or rushed.
Dear Tonya, Thank you very very much for wonderful review of my tour. I am very glad you enjoyed my New Year days tour. All of you were so friendly and cooperative that it gave me a lot of energy to promote the tour. I was especially happy when we saw a fantastic view of MT. Fuji at Hakone. Because only lucky people are able to see it. I hope you'll spend fruitful days in Japan and go back to your country with a lot of nice memories. At the same time, I wish you'll come back to Japan in the near future. Please say hello to your husband and children. See you again, Keiko
Our group of 7 were lucky enough to spend the day with Keiko exploring Tokyo. As first time travelers to Japan, and a large group, we weren’t sure where to start with our exploration. Keiko made sure we visited all the sights and explained the history and culture at each site so well. We had a fantastic day and a truly authentic experience. We can not recommend Keiko more highly. Thank you Keiko for spending the day with us and sharing your vast knowledge of Japanese history and culture
Dear Naomi, Thank you very much for writing a wonderful review for my tour. How happy I was to share a good time with your group. All of you were so cooperative and friendly .You listened to my explanation attentively Especially, I was very impressed by the three kids. They were very candid, gentle and well-mannered. Everything I experienced yesterday is a good memory to me. Thank you very much ! I sincerely wish that your trip to Japan will be filled with pleasant memories. Maybe good luck charms of Meiji shrine will support you. I would be happy if you sent my best regards to all of your group members. Best wishes, Keiko
