Hi. My name is Keiko Hatada. I'm a National Government Licenced Guide Interpreter. I was born in Tokyo and used to work as a junior high school teacher over 30 years here. So I know about Tokyo a lot. One of my hobbies is Japanese history. Finding similarities in the world history is also a lot of fun to me.
Tokyo is a very attractive city with two very interesting features, traditional city with 450- year -old Edo(former name of Tokyo) culture and a very leading edge city with a very robust modern culture. I'd be happy to share either or both of them with you. I'm happy to arrange a tour according to your desires and look forward to having good time with you.

I spent 2 days with Keiko and found her polite, friendly and very knowledgeable about the city. I would recommend Keiko for anyone interested in the history of Tokyo
Dear Bethan, thank you very much for your review of my tour. I am very glad that you enjoyed the days in Tokyo. You were so interested in various factors of Tokyo, such as social issues as well as its history. I was lucky enough to learn about British social situation from you , and it was a great hint to solve our problems. At the same time, I noticed that I need to study more about that area. Thank you very much for your kindness and I hope you will have a great time in Japan. I am looking forward to meeting you again in Tokyo. Warm Regards, Keiko
I spent a wonderful day with Keiko seeing both old and new parts of Tokyo. She was a very thoughtful guide and arranged for memorable experiences such as tea in the park and excellent sushi at Tsukiji Market. We took a boat ride to Odeiba and walked along the river. We were also able to experience an annual festival in Asakusa. I would not have been able to find my way through the crowds and enjoy and understand the rituals without her. She even helped me find a snack I wanted to try. All around, it was very memorable day that helped me make the most of my limited free time on my visit. Keiko was very pleasant company and took great care of me.
Dear Nina Thank you very much for your wonderful review of my tour. I am very glad that you enjoyed Tokyo through the tour with me. It was a special day, Sanjya Festival in Asakusa. We were lucky enough to meet several portable shrines carried by people in the same festival costumes. They were escorted by Shinto priests purifying the atmosphere. It was really a fantastic view, wasn't it ? Another thing I thought lucky was that we were able to take a great view from the roof of the boat between Hamarikyu garden and Odaiba. Especially, The Rainbow bridge looked pretty and the wind was so refreshing. I hope you will accomplish everything you needed and go back home with good memories. Best Regards, Keiko
We had the most fantastic day with Keiko. We followed a pre arranged itinerary and saw everything on our list. Keiko gave us so much information on the history and culture of Japan, she was so thoughtful and polite, showing us where to buy our train tickets from and helping us with buying them. We loved eating suishi in the fish market and having a wonderful Ramen lunch with Keiko. We would highly recommend anyone visiting Tokyo to have a tour with Keiko, it was one of our highlights of our stay in Tokyo. Thank you Keiko for a brilliant day Ellen & Rob
Dear Ellen & Rob Thank you very much for your wonderful review of my tour. It was a beautiful day with fresh greeneries and you were so energetic enough to visit all the places on the itinerary and tried to understand the atmosphere. I am very happy to know that you enjoyed most of them including sushi, ramen, sweets. I guess you studied about Japan a lot beforehand so it's easier for you to understand it . It was my pleasure that I was able to tell you details about Japanese culture.I hope you will spend happy birthdays together at onsen , hotsprings with special present and go back to your country with wonderful memories. Thank you very much for your warm heart. Best Wishes, keiko
Our day with Keiko could not have been better. She was a really great guide and was happy to do anything we wanted. Two of the memorable things was brunch at the Fish Market and by chance witnessing a traditional Japanese wedding but we enjoyed everything. Thank you Keiko.
Dear Patricia, Thank you very much for your wonderful review of my tour. Yes, you were lucky enough to enjoy sushi at the counter of one of the most popular sushi bars at Tsukiji Fish Market. At Asakusa, you were able to see a wedding couple. The bride was very beautiful in traditional white kimono and hairstyle. I think you have been understanding the beauty of Japanese culture. I hope you will enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan. And hopefully I will be able to show you another beautiful view of Japan in the near future. Please say hello to your sweetheart. Best Wishes, Keiko
We were a group of 5 adults that spent a long day touring with Keiko. She was so friendly and knowledgeable! Excellent English, we had no trouble understanding her. We had planned our route in advance and were all over the city on the subway. It was a Golden Week, so the sights were so crowded, but expected it, so no problem. Keiko met us at our hotel, right on time and didn’t waste a minute to get started. She led us with confidence and made our big tour day in Tokyo so special. We do. It hesitate to recommend Keiko.
Dear Lynne, Thank you very much for your wonderful review of my tour. It was a Golden Week, so every place were busy. But it was a fine day with fresh greeneries under the clear sky. We visited Tsukiji Fish Market, Asakusa and Meiji Shinto shrine. For lunch, we had "kamameshi", rice boiled in a small pot with chicken and vegetables. In Japan, it is said that people who eat rice from the same pot are able to be friendly. During the tour, we talked about a lot of things and I was glad that you tried to understand Japanese culture. You also remind me the importance of peace. I hope all of you will have a great time in Japan and go back home with great memories. Best Wishes, Keiko
