The one day tour around the Aokigahara Forest (including the Wind and Ice cave) was amazing. The beauty of the place is unique. Regarding Tomomi, she was such a nice and helpful. All the explanations provided by Tomomi during the tour made the experience really interesting and wonderful. Highly recommend. Tomomi, thank you for the tour!
Tomomi was great! Our trip to the Aokigahara Forest, Wind cave, and Ice cave was pure magic! She explained us a lot of details about those places who give us the necessary insight to fully understand the traditions and customs of the zone. Our trip consisted ona trip arround the caves arround the Jukai, then some hiking into the forrest and at the end we visited the Saiko Lake. She is a very kind person with lot of patiance to share all the knowledge that she has with the people arround her. Kudos to Tomomi!
Thank you so much for your great review. It was a great pleasure for me to share part of your precious time with you, and I just felt happy that you guys chose Japan for your honeymoon. The cool and crisp air spread over the forest was so refreshing that we could recharge ourselves. Hope you will come visit the forest again in the season of fresh greenery which is the best time to explore there. Thank you very much for giving me a lot of happiness!
This is a review from our visit in late Nov. 2019. We were traveling with our 2 young kids (3&6 y/o). Even though the weather that day was not very cooperative, and we could not see Mt. Fuji but just having spent time with Tomomi was enough for us. She was very considerate and kind with us and our children. She is extremely honest and when we changed some timing of the tour to reduce time in cold with kids, she was very meticulous in making sure that we get out refund for that time. Thank you Tomomi. We highly recommend her to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji area.
Thank you for your warm words which are really encouraging. I’m very pleased to have shown you around the Mt. Fuji area full of the beautiful autumn colors. It was a lot of fun my chatting with your little kids. They were so friendly and adorable that I miss them now. Hope your family photos with the colorful leaves in the background remind you of the memories you had during the tour. Thank you very much again for hiring me. You all were pleasures to be with!
Tomomi is just great. She’s not only perfectly knowledgable - she was born and raised in the region - but she is just the nicest person we ever met. Very flexible, very interesting, she’s a pleasure to be around. We were so happy to hire her, she took us to wonderful sites and we had the best day. Plus her English is perfect. Highly recommend her.
Thank you for your great review! When I met you at the hotel lobby. I felt like we were close friends as we’d got to know well each other by exchanging the messages. The time we were together was short, but enough to have the deep understanding of mutual culture and way of thinking derived from the different backgrounds. I was quite impressed with your son’s enthusiasm to learn the things about Japan! Hope he’ll come back to Japan for the further learning. I’m just happy to have accompanied you as your guide on the perfect day to appreciate Mt. Fuji. Arigato-Gozaimashita!
Tomomi-san is a wonderful guide! She is very knowledgeable about the area and went out of her way to make sure we got the most possible out of our day. 10/10 recommend. We will definitely hire her again if we revisit the area.
Thank you for your great review, Ryan san! The day you took the tour was quite chilly, but the beautiful Mt. Fuji and the clear blue sky welcomed your visit which happens just during the winter. Some parts of the trails in the forest were icy and slippery. However, it seemed you all enjoyed a short hike in the serene atmosphere. There was nothing like piping hot noodles we had for lunch after a hike on the freezing day! I had fun sharing a lot of things with you and felt happy to help you learn various aspects of Japan through the tour. Hope the tour around Mt. Fuji is one of the unforgettable memories you would have in Japan!
Tomomi is an excellent guide and was very informative throughout the tour. She explained things along the way, and answered our queries. We had a great conversation throughout the whole time, not just about the tour but about Japan and the culture. It was very informative getting to know Japan from a local and having a local insight and perceptions. Next time I go to Japan again I would love to go for another hike tour and would definitely get the service from her again. I highly recommend her! And the tour! It was a beautiful sight walking through the forest and checking out the wind cave and ice cave. One of the highlights of our visit to Japan for sure. Be sure to get this tour with Tomomi! Worth every penny.
Thank you for your warm words. The day you took the tour was a perfect day to explore the forest and look over at the lovely scenery along the lakeshore. It seems you two enjoyed the peaceful and scene atmosphere along with the unique natural environment of the forest. It was quite interesting for me to exchange opinions on various things including the sensitive topics with you while hiking. Thanks to you, I learned a lot about your country and now feel much familiar with Brunei! Hope you come back to the Mt. Fuji area again to see another must-see!
Tomomi was very welcoming and warm. I learned alot about the culture and history of the Fuji area, while seeing sites I would not have seen without her. She was very organised and helpful. I highly recommend! Thanks
Your review is a great motivation for me to keep working hard so that I can provide high quality services that satisfy my guests! The day of the tour was wet and chilly. However, you two seemed to have an enjoyable time at each spot, especially at the lava tree molds. As a local guide, it is a great hoy that you were really interested in Mt. Fuji as the sacred mountain. Hope you deepened your knowledge about the different aspects of Mt. Fiji through tracing the footsteps of the Mt. Fuji Pilgrims. Arigato gozaimashita! (Thank you very much.)
I had an incredible day trekking around the forest with Tomomi san, but I gotta say that the whole experience started since the moment I hired the tour, she got in touch in a few hours and provided very detailed instructions on how to get to our meeting point. Also, during the tour she is very very knowledgeable and not only that but so considerate as well always looking after me, she made me feel very safe throughout the whole visit specially since it was a very rainy and cold day. Visiting the forest was an amazing experience but doing it in company of Tomomi san made it much much better overall; highly recommendable and completely worth it.
Thank you for your great review. The day you took the tour was rainy and freezing which didn’t seem to be a good day for the hiking tour. However, the forest was worth hiking through. The beautiful contrast of the fresh evergreen trees and the colorful autumn leaves in the forest was just amazing. I’m very happy that you enjoyed your time, exposing yourself to the distinctive nature. Your deep insights into various topics we talked about on the way were quite impressive. Thank you again for joining the tour. Please come visit here again to see Mt. Fuji!
To all those curious about booking this tour, Tomomi is a beautiful soul with genuine love for the Fuji/Kawaguchiko area. She was very flexible with our situation and very accommodating. There is not a bad bone in her body and she worked very hard to make us all welcome and inspired by the beautiful nature and energy of Aokigahara. We were able to see/smell/feel the forest and visit sights off the beaten path, thanks to her knowledge. We are all so grateful for this experience. Tomomi is well versed in ALL things Fuji/Aokigahara/Kawaguchiko related. She speaks very natural English, which only added to our experience walking through Aokigahara and visiting the Saiko Bat Cave to obtain our 'drops of wisdom'. This unforgettable day will absolutely become one of the great highlights... read more
It was a lovely day we enjoyed hiking in the forest. We started the tour in the late afternoon and the time we shared together was not long due to the traffic congestion on the way from Tokyo. However, the peaceful and serene atmosphere spread through the forest was all to ourselves! Thanks to your positive and friendly manner, I had a lot of fun with laughter. Thank you again for joining the tour. You’re always welcome here, on the foot of Mt. Fuji!
Tomomi was really fantastic. She was so full of knowledge of both the Mount Fuji area and of Japan in general. She takes nature tours and was so friendly. We had a truly amazing time with her. And her English was the best we have encountered here in Japan !
Thank you very much for your great review, Gary and Suzanne! We spent just half a day together, but I had a wonderful time with you as you two were super friendly and kind. I love your jokes! What *******ted about during the tour varied from something serious to funny ones. I enjoyed all. I was really lucky to be your guide! Mt. Fuji and myself always welcome your visit again. Arigato-gozaimasita.
Tomomi was very helpful and such a great companion to our family day at Mt Fuji. Very flexible as we had a handicapped father. She adjusted beautifully throughout the day that included her joining us on a fantastic speedboat ride on Lake Fuji. Definitely worth the extra money for a guide and she speaks incredibly great English. She made the trip memorable and even helped my dad which gave us a quick shopping trip break. Couldn’t do that great of a day without her!
Thank you very much for your great comment on the day-tour. The time we spent together was short, but precious for me. I was just happy that I became part of your family and shared some memories your dad had in Japan in his childhood. The highlight of your day-trip must have been a speedboat we rode in Lake Kawaguchiko. You guys all seemed to be thrilled with it and have super fun! It was too exciting for me though.. Hope you all come back to Japan in winter to see a breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji and to enjoy “Onsen” (hot spring) which would be effective for your dad. Arigatou gozaimashita!
Tomomi is a knowledgeable and personable guide who took us for a full day visiting the Aokigahara Forest and surrounding area. She was both responsive to our requests and able to offer suggestions that always were the best option. We hiked several miles in the forest with Tomomi pointing out intriguing natural features. We also visited the Bat Cave and the entrance to the Water Cave. All the locals knew Tomomi which allowed us to see some sights that are usually private. We highly recommend Tomomi if you want a personalized and informative guide and companion while visiting the five lakes region.
Thank you for giving me such a good review, Otak-san. It was a great joy for me to see you all enjoy hiking in the forest and wandering around the craft village. The hike in the forest was a bit longer than scheduled. However, I believe it was worth the time since we were able to get to where your son wanted to visit. I really had fun chatting with you all, sharing lots of topics we were interested in. Although Mt. Fuji was too shy to come out this time, she is always there to welcome your visit again. Hope you come back to find more must-sees!
Tomomi right from our first communication was thoughtful and thorough. We knew that we didn't want to do the mainstream things when we visited the Mt Fuji area. We had a couple of ideas that we shared with Tomomi. She not only got back to us with some suggestions she went the extra mile to provide websites and supporting details to help us make the best selection for us. We booked a full day tour and a private van and again Tomomi took the extra steps of coordinating with our driver to make sure that our day would go smoothly. Yesterday, we spent the day with Tomomi and it was all that we wanted and more, her knowledge of the area, of nature, of Mt Fuji and of the culture were greatly appreciated. Her verbal and written skills are exceptional but what we enjoyed most was her genuin... read more
Thank you so much for your great comments on the day-tour we had. I had a precious time with you all. I felt like I was part of your family as we had something in common, especially nature! Your girls were fascinated with everything they saw and found in the forest. They made me happy since my joy as the guide is to see my guests having fun during the tour. Your family’s deep interest in Japanese culture at Kimono art museum was quite inspiring. It was just fantastic to have matcha green tea in the serene atmosphere, viewing the beautiful Japanese-style garden, wasn’t it? We just spent a day together which was quite short, but will be the unforgettable memory for me. Thank you very much again for sharing your time with me! Hope you come back to the Mt. Tomomi is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and helpful. She made it very easy to navigate how to get there. Highly recommend booking a tour with Tomomi!
Thank you for giving me a good review, Sara-san. You and your cousins were so cheerful and friendly all the way during the hike that I had a lot of fun with you all. I’m just happy to have showed you around the forest as you had great interest in what you saw and experienced there. Mt. Fuji did not show us her beautiful appearance on that day unfortunately. However, now you have good reason to come back to the Mt. Fuji area again. To see Mt. Fuji!
Our family had a great day with Tomomi San in Mount Fuji area. All of our communication and discussion about our family trip to Mount Fuji went on quite smoothly via email with Tomomi San before the trip actually started. Tomomi San gave me very useful advice on which express bus to take as well as best starting time for our tour. She was so kindly to arrange the itinerary in a way to make our teenage kids feel interesting. Unfortunately, we missed our first bus in Tokyo and arrived in Kawaguchiko bus stop later than our plan, but Tomomi San was so kind to rearrange the schedule, buy the sightseeing bus tickets in advance and do everything to make sure we get the best our of the day though we arrive late. The trip to Bat Cave as well as the short trekking in the "Sea of Tree" Forrest was w... read more
Thank you very much for such a great review, Haｎg-san. Though the tour got shorter than scheduled, I had a precious time with you and your family. Two of your daughters were so adorable and friendly that I enjoyed chatting with them. I felt like they were my daughter’s close friends. I also felt really close to you through the chatting we had.The topics we talked about were various, but all were worth sharing. Thank your again for hiring me as your guide. What you saw and experienced are only a part of the Mt. Fuji area, so hope you come back there again for other must-sees!
Tomomi was amazing. From all the work getting the exact itinerary that was the right length, getting us bus tickets, arranging a gluten free meal for my daughter and a birthday celebration for my husband, she gave excellent service before the tour even began. In addition, her certification as a naturalist made the hike even more meaningful. I highly recommend her.
Thank you very much for your great review, Ilene-san. It was a great joy for me to celebrate your husband’s birthday with your family at the lunch break. Mt. Fuji is always shy around this time of the year. However, she showed us her beautiful appearance almost all the time during the tour. She also seemed to celebrate his birthday! The time we spent toghther was short, but I really had a wonderful time with you all. Hope the day-trip around the Mt. Fuji area will be an unforgettable memory of your trip in Japan!
Tomomi is a superb guide who is extremely knowledgeable. Over the course of several hours, she introduced me to Aokigahara, pointing out many interesting and important things about this remarkable forest that I never would have noticed myself. Tomomi is a local and nature lover, and it quickly became apparent that share cares a lot about the Fuji Five Lakes region and is passionate about sharing it with visitors. She knows the Aokigahara trails very well, which is valuable given that in a few places, the trail can become a little difficult to follow. I really appreciated that she showed me features of the area that aren't heavily promoted to tourists even though they are arguably more interesting than some of the popular tourist spots. Beyond her experience and knowledge, Tomomi is ... read more
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Blair-san. It was a perfect day to hike through the beautiful forest brimming with greenery. The rain we had on the previous day made the deep green of the mosses and the fresh foliage stood out. I was just happy to see you enjoyed hiking fully even without Mt. Fuji. The Aokigahara forest is the most recommended place to visit among the tourist attractions around the Mt. Fuji area. Hope you had a great time exploring the forest filled with natural beauty spreads on the foot of Mt. Fuji and learned about various aspects of Mt. Fuji through the tour. Please come visit there again in the different season!
Tomomi is an excellent guide. Detailed, considerate and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip!
Thank very much you for your review, Wilson-san. The day you took the tour was quite hot. It was really nice to stroll through the forest on such a hot day since the dense foliage in the forest blocked glaring sunlight. What made me happy was that you two seemed to have enjoyed hiking and impressed with the distinctive scenery spread in the forest. I’m just happy to have shared such lovely time with you. I really appreciate that you hired me as your guide.
First, let me say that my husband and I never hired a guide before. So this was our first time and we are extremely happy we did. From the time of booking she was very helpful and responsive answered any questioned I had. We were greeted with a warm smile and the tour didn't feel forced or boring at all. It felt like we went hiking with a friend who taught us about beautiful Mt. Fuji & The way of life in this amazing county.
Thank you so much for your great review, Amber-san! A three-hour hike with you was quite exciting and enjoyable as we have something in common which is we all are the nature lovers! It was a nice surprise for me to know that you were on your honeymoon. I’m very pleased that I shared some of your special time with you. As there were few people on the trails and at the caves luckily, we enjoyed the serene and peaceful atmosphere of the forest to the fullest. Hope the forest hike will be one of the unforgettable memories you had in Japan! The Mt. Fuji area is rich in natural beauty and has the different faces though the seasons. Looking forward to your coming back!
Our family of 4 (2 teen girls) had the most amazing day with Tomomi!! Firstly, she was super helpful with prompt communication right from the start(even before booking!), which continued right up to our tour date. Tomomi wanted to know our interests and planned accordingly. She also gave me explicit directions on how to get from Tokyo to Lake Kawaguchiko which we had no difficulty in doing ourselves. She met us at the train station and from there we had a fabulous adventure. We went straight to Chureito Pagoda, which for us was the highlight! We had perfect weather and were SO fortunate to see Mt. Fuji on a clear sunny day AND the cherry blossoms in full bloom. What luck we had!! We then enjoyed exploring the area around Lake Kawaguchiko with Tomomi even finding a local cherry blossom ... read more
Thank you for giving me such kind words, Kristina-san. You all were super friendly and cheerful, so I felt really comfortable to be with you and had a wonderful time. It was a perfect day to enjoy the magnificent views of Mt. Fuji and the full-bloomed cherry blossoms under the clear sky, wasn't it? Hope a bunch of photos you took during the tour will be a part of the great memories you had in Japan! The happiest moment for me is to see my clients (YOU) having fun. I’m just pleased to have helped you enjoy the Mt. Fuji area to the fullest and learned about its deep inside. There are many other must-see places on the foot of Mt. Fuji, so you shouldn’t miss them. Please come back again!
Tomomi was very professional since we started talking about the Fuji 5 lakes area, providing us of every information we needed, and we decided to travel with her. We’ve spent a wonderful day with Tomomi, visiting all the places we wanted, including the best spots to see the cherry tree blossom, and having all our questions fully answered. A 6 stars experience!
Thank you so much for posting such a great review. The day you took the tour was a bit chilly, and the sun was too shy to come out. However, you came to the Mt. Fuji area at the perfect time to see full-bloomed cherry blossoms! It was a great joy for me to see you two have a good time viewing beautiful cherry blossoms with a big simile and enjoy the local specialty “Hoto noodles” after standing in a long line. Your deep insight into the Japanese culture (Kimono) at Kubota Itchiku Museum was quite impressive and made me happy as I was proud of my own culture. There are some other must-see places on the foot of Mt. Fuji, so hope you’ll come back there again!
She shown me around the three caves, Wind cave, Ice cave and the Saiko Bat cave and afterwards we walked through the Aokigahara Forest for the rest of the tour. Never have I had this much fun hanging around someone in a long, long time. She is super friendly, great personality, and lot of fun to be around. I almost couldn't walk away when the time was over. It was truly a pleasure to have to have you as my guide!
Thank you very much for giving me such warm words which motivate me a lot. The weather during a hike wasn’t pleasant due to wet weather. However, the rain didn’t bring many visitors to the forest. We were really lucky to have strolled through the forest in the peaceful and serene atmosphere. I also had a lot of fun chatting with you. Thank you so much for sharing your time with me. Hope the photos taken during the tour remind the wonderful memories you had in the forest. The Mt. Fuji area is worth visiting throughout the seasons. Mt. Fuji and myself will welcome your visit again! Arigatou gozaimashita!
We had Tomomi-san as our guide for the day for the Mt Fuji area recently and had a wonderful trip there. At the outset, we were impressed with her prompt and thoughtful responses to our queries, starting with her detailed explanations of the various train options to get there from Tokyo. We are also appreciative of her careful planning of activities to suit our interests and time available, and flexibility in adjusting the schedule to the changing weather conditions on the day. As an experienced nature guide, her knowledge of the Aokigahara forest on top of the hardened lava was so informative, and the hike in the forest, with some fantastic views of one of the lakes, was special. We also enjoyed the place where we had lunch, with gracious hosts, good food and views of Mt Fuji. ... read more
Thank you so much for your great review. Unfortunately Mt. Fuji was a bit shy and hid behind the clouds during the tour. I felt sorry that you could hardly see Mt. Fuji. However, what makes me happy is your expression about the tour written in your review since it says you two had a great time around the Mt. Fuji area even without her. I’m pleased to have been exposed to the wonderful natural environment with you, having talked about some current issues with you. I really appreciate your kindness and consideration during the tour. The Mt. Fuji area is worth visiting throughout the seasons. Looking forward to seeing you again!
We hadnt used a personal guide before and didnt really know what to expect. Tomomi was fantastic from the first time we spoke with her online via the message system. She provided us with all the info we needed regarding travel to the meeting location (from Tokyo to the Sea of Trees) right down to various options for trains, busses etc including timings that worked best and why we needed to book in advance. Tomomi met us right off the bus and instantly gave us a big smile and started telling us about our 4 hour trip. it covered all we wanted to see and more which was great. Tomomi is obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about the area she lives, but is also passionate about sharing knowledge, so *******ted a lot about the wider aspects of Japan culture, history and experiences as ... read more

I’m pleased that you enjoyed exploring the beautiful forest and the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji at the lakeside. I wish I could have such a close friendship with someone as you guys do. I learned a lot about your country and some British English words. We enlisted Tomomi for our one day tour of Mt. Fuji. Tomomi was helpful with ALL of my questions prior to booking. She appeased my concerns about us traveling from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji without a guide. She was able to tell me specifically the final cost of the entire day and helped in choosing the best itinerary. We chose the "nature" tour and it was the best decision. She met all of us (5) adults at the bus station and update the itinerary based on the weather. She even reached out a couple days before to tell us what to wear for our trip, due to the upcoming weather. She was very knowledgeable, her English is excellent and most of all, she made us feel at ease. We did the Ropeway at Mt. Fuji, took pictures, did a boat tour, we went through a bat cave and walked the forest, toured a local vi... read more
Thank you for your great review! It was a great joy for me to show you around the Mt. Fuji area and to see you having fun at each place we visited. You all were very friendly and considerate to me throughout the tour, so it was YOU All who made me feel at ease. I felt like we had known each other for years. The great success in your private tour was actually attributed to you! I really appreciated it. I’m a bit jealous of you as you all are so close to each other. Thank you so much for having let me join your family. I really had a wonderful time with you. Hope you come visit the Mt. Fuji area again!
We hired Tomomi as our tour guide for the Lake Kawaguchiko area for one day. During the preparation she provided lots of excellent recommendations of places to visit and things to do in the area. With her help we were able to narrow down our itinerary to places we were interested in that we could visit during a span of a one day tour. Tomomi is an excellent guide and she showed a lot of passion in her work in how she described the history of the places we visited and also how dearly she cared for the areas we were visiting. It also helps that she is a nature guide and also lives in the area so we can feel very much how excited she was to be sharing her home area with us. Thank you so much for giving me such a good review and lots of warm words. I also had a lot of fun chatting and sharing the wonderful time with you. You are the lucky ones who could see Mt. Fuji around this time of the year because she is usually quite shy. I bet she really wanted to be a part of your memories you had in Japan! I was just happy to see you take lots of selfies with Mt. Fuji. You guys are such a lovely couple! As you were very friendly and kind to me, I felt really close to you during the tour. The pleasant time I spent with you passed by so quickly that I wished I could have been with you guys longer.. Thank you again for joining the tour. Mt. Fuji and myself will welcome your visit again!
There are not enough words to describe how much we enjoyed our time with Tomomi-san in Aokigahara Forest and around Mount Fuji. She is incredibly knowledgeable (literally anything we asked her, she had anecdotes, information, and pictures ready to go), and most notable - she is so KIND. She is so WARM and welcoming and a complete joy to spend time with. We learned so much from Tomomi - it truly was a cultural experience, an utter immersion in nature and tradition. We cannot recommend her more. Thank you, Tomomi-san! We miss your company already!
Thank you very much for your great review, Megan and Matt – san! Everything went well perfectly thanks to your consideration and friendly manner. I’m very pleased that you two enjoyed the natural beauty of the distinctive forest created by Mt. Fuji. The view of Mt. Fuji from the lakeshore was just magnificent, wasn't it? She (Mt. Fuji) also wanted to see you, I believe! It was fun for me to stroll in the forest, chatting with you with laughter. The time we spent together was quite short. However, it was precious and brought me a lot of pleasure. Thank you again for joining the tour. Hope taking a hike in the forest with me will be one of the unforgettable memories you would have in Japan.
I would recommend this Mount Fuji tour. Tomomi was a great tour guide. She presented the information very clearly and we found all the information really interesting. Tomomi really knows the area and has a real understanding of Mount Fuji, the sea of trees, and the entire area. Lots of areas/opportunities to take scenic photos. Tomomi is a great hiker, and took us into the cave and on a hike. As a bonus the weather was terrific, and our visit to the craft village was good. Our 14 year old dressed up in a traditional kimono and we were able to walk around and get photos of her with mount Fuji in the background. Photos looked stunning. Karen
Thanｋ you so much for giving me such a good review which is encouraging for me. It is a great joy for me to have helped you have a wonderful time around the Mt. Fuji area. It was a perfect day to enjoy the breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji from all places we visited, wasn't it? Usually Mt. Fuji is really shy and hides behind clouds around this time of the year, but she welcomed you! Lots of photos you took (Especially the ones of your daughter in Kimono! She was just gorgeous!) will remind you of the wonderful memories you had with Mt. Fuji. I’m very happy to have shared some precious time with you all! Hope you’ll come visit the Mt. Fuji area again!
It was a happy and meaningful tour leaded by Tomomi in Aokigahara Forest and Caves. Ms Tomomi is friendly and caring person suggested traffic solutions to access Kawaguchiko station and to our tour meetup-point. She is also knowledgeable on natural and cultural in related to the area. There is no communication issue since Ms Tomomi speaks well English. We started from Wind Cave and Ice Cave, then Aokigahara Forest, Dragon Cave and ended at beautiful Saiko Lake. Though it was raining all the time, it didn't disturb the tour. I think employing a local guide is necessary since the Japan government and residents have been trying best to protect the valuable nature and culture. Spending the day with Tomomi was like spending a day with a family friend. From the time I signed up for the tour she was helping me all the way from booking bus tickets from Tokyo to the list of places we can see in a day. She gave various options for planning the tour to see places around Mt.Fuji. Our highlight of the visit was the Ice cave and Aokigahara Forest which we would have never attempted on our own. Thank you Tomomi for your kindness and hospitality and making this Mt. Fuji trip unforgettable. I am going to recommend Tomomi as their guide to all my friends when they visit Mt.Fuji.
Thank you so much for your warm review. It was a great pleasure for me to have showed you and your family around the Mt. Fuji area. I also felt like you were my old friend when I first met you as we had exchanged lots of messages and come to know well each other before meeting. Your husband and daughter were so friendly and kind that I could enjoy chatting with laughter all the way through the tour. I really appreciate your consideration. It was a perfect day to see magnificent view of Mt. Fuji from all places we visited, so Mt. Fuji welcomed your visit! She wasn’t shy luckily. Hope the photos you took during the tour remind you of the good memories you had with me!
Tomomi san was so sweet and an excellent tour guide. She also helped me to plan the tour in the limited time. My husband and stepson were very pleased with her knowledge. I would have her again and again when I come back to Mt. Fuji area. I know my stepson will have her for sure in the near future.
Thank you so much for your great review. It was a perfect day to enjoy the breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji at all places we visited! Mt. Fuji from the Fifth Station was just magnificent. The beautiful conical shape of Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchiko was stunning and delighted our eyes. I’m very happy that you all seemed satisfied with a day-trip around the Mt. Fuji area. Thanks to the friendly atmosphere you all created, I had a lot of fun chatting with you with laugher! I really appreciate your consideration for me. Hope Ryan will come back to the Mt. Fuji area for Mt. Fuji-climbing!
Tomomi is a great guide with passion and good knowledge. She is very helpful, her English is very good. If you really want to experience something special beyond just sightseeing, then Tomomi is a perfect choice. I would highly recommend Tomomi as a guide. Thanks Tomomi, i did have a fantastic trip.
Hi Hung-san! Thank you so much for giving me such a great review. I’m very happy that you all had a lot of fun experiencing what you wanted to do on the foot of Mt. Fuji. Lots of photos of the beautiful autumn leaves you took will remind you of the wonderful memories you had there. Next time you come to the Mt. Fuji area, the spring is definitely recommended! You can take a bunch of photos with cherry blossoms and Mt. Fuji in the background. Thank you again for having me as your guide. The time I shared with you all was so precious and fulfilling that I won’t forget it!
Tomomi-san was a great guide! The tour she gave us was as interesting and informative, and her English was very good. Highly recommended.
Thank you very much for your great review. I’m pleased that you enjoyed exploring the beautiful forest and the stunning view of Mt. Fuji at the lakeside. I had a lot of fun spending some time with you as you guys were so friendly and cheerful. I felt like we were long-time friends. Hope you’ll come back to the Mt. Fuji area to discover something interesting and fascinating other than Mt. Fuji!
Tomomi was terrific from the moment my family and I stepped off the bus! There was an accident in route and so we were late on arrival but Tomomi shuffled things around and we were still able to do all that we wanted. She is excellent as a tour guide! She is extremely knowledgeable and her English is perfect! I wouldn't hesitate to book her again! We have made a lifelong friend! Aloha! Sheila Nagaji-Santos
Thank you for your great review. It will definitely encourage me to make more efforts to become a better guide until next time I see you! You all were so kind and friendly that I really enjoyed guiding you around the Kawaguchiko area. The time we spent together was quite short. However, it was precious and brought me a lot of pleasure. The wonderful photos you sent me will always remind me of the great memories of the trip I had with you. Hope I come to your place sometime very soon in the future. I’m also happy to have made lifelong friends!
When people hear "aokigahara" most of them think of a spooky, dangerous place. Tomomiさん showed me the beauty of the forest, it's unique nature. In advanced we talked about what I was interested in and she modified the trip she normally does, so it fitted right into what I wanted to do/see. Tomomiさん explained everything from interest and could answer the questions I had sovereign. It was very interesting listening to her and to learn about the area. I had a lot of fun and I hope I can have a tour with Tomomiさん when I come back to Japan with my family. Thank you very much for the awesome time, Tomomi さん!
Thank you so much for your great review, Sarahさん！It was a great pleasure for me to show you around the Aokigahara area and meet your satisfaction. I really had a wonderful time sharing what we are interested in during the tour. Your deep insight into nature and all living things was quite impressive. The four-hour hike just went so fast because I had so much fun with you. Hope you’ll come back to Japan with your family and enjoy rich nature on the foot of Mt. Fuji. Sarahさん, your Japanese was excellent. Please keep it up!
The whole experience with Tomomi san is just top notch, from very quick response time to insanely detailed suggestions. She speaks fluent English, extyremely friendly and very considerate. My girl friend and myself had a wonderful time, all thanks to Tomomi san. We went to a very nice trail, had some very good local food and she try her best to accommodate all our requests, to the point it was past the hiring time and she even help us to arrange transportation on days we didn’t hire her. We recommend her with zero hesitation, she will make sure you have a wonderful time around Mount Fuji! Thanks again, Tomomi san!
Thank you so much again for having me as your guide! It is a great joy for me to have taken you to the Ochudo trail since that area is definitely worth visiting though it isn’t well-known! You guys were very friendly and considerate to me throughout the tour, so that hearty atmosphere allowed me to guide you around the Mt. Fuji area with relax. The great success in your private tour was actually attributed to you! I really appreciated it.
Tomomi was a great guide with tons of knowledge about the forest and the caves. She adjusted the tour for our needs perfectly. Her English was great and was a very pleasant guide. She is highly recommended.
A three-hour hike through the forest went by so quickly since the time I shared with you guys was enjoyable and fulfilling. I was very happy to see you having fun with what you discovered in the forest such as a tiny beetle, beautiful mosses and leftovers of squirrels. Mt. Fuji has the different faces though the seasons, so she welcomes your visit any time! Thank you very much again for joining the tour, Timothy and Nova!!
Our trip through Aokigahara was fantastic! We asked her a lot of questions and Tomomi answered all of them. We saw amazing nature and the Saiko Bat cave. She was very friendly and talking to her felt natural and nice. I would highly recommend a tour with her!
Thank you again for joining the tour! I’m really happy to have shown you and your friends from Germany around the Aokigahara forest. You guys asked me many questions about the various things about Japan as well as Aokigahara and Mt. Fuji. I felt rewarding as a guide because I could help you have the deeper understanding of different aspects of Japan during the tour. Hope you’ll come back here again in the different seasons. There are lots of things around the foot of Mt. Fuji that will attract you!
My family and I had a day and half in Kawaguchiko. To maximize the experience, we retained the service of Ms. Tomomi as our guide for a one-day tour. It was a very rewarding experience. Ms. Tomomi was very responsive in the pre-trip correspondences. After knowing the type of activities we were interested in, she put together a proposed plan for the day trip. We toured around Kawaguchiko and Saiko areas -- visited Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine, checked out Bat Cave, walked through Aokigahara forest, and visited Saiko Iyashi no sato Nemba. Ms. Tomomi was punctual and knowledgeable with very good English. She's engaging and considerate when she noticed that we might want to spend more time in a particular area so that she could make quick adjustments to the plan. ... read more
Hi Vickie, Thank you very much for giving me such a great review. It was a great pleasure that I could show you and your family (Bridie and Tammy) around the places you were really interested in. Thanks to your kindness and patience, the tour proceed smoothly. I was happy that your first choice of a place to visit was “Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine” because I would really like tourists to visit historical spots spreading on the food of Mt. Fuji other than its natural beauty. I felt really close to you all as you were very friendly and cheerful. The pleasant time I spent with you passed by so quickly that I wished I could have been with you guys more. Thank you very much again for joining the tour. Hope you’ll come back again to the Mt. Fuji area at the different seasons! Plea... read more
