Hi, Konnichiwa! I'm Yukiko. I am a Government Certified Guide Interpreter and a Registered Nurse. I also have a license for being a food sanitation manager.
I was born and raised in Tokyo. I used to teach Japanese culture to local elementary school students when I stayed in Canada, America and New Zealand. My happiest moments with these children were when they look forward to another lessons every week. It was a challenging job but this experience broaden my horizon and prompted me to become an English tour guide.
If you take my tour, you will learn deeply about everything that comes into your view, get local information and experience many things.
I am a mother of a six years old girl. So I'd be glad to welcome families with young children and I can arrange a tour depending on your situation. Please feel free to ask.
I'd like to make your stay in Tokyo a real pleasant one.
Thank you, Arigatou!

I had a wonderful day out in Tokyo with Yukiko experiencing Japanese 'kawai'. We visited Yanaka Ginza and the Harajuku area with a highlight being the Owl Cafe. Yukiko was an excellent guide, spoke English flawlessly and truly customized our 4hr tour to the requests I made. Tokyo is a wonderful city and my experience was enhanced by Yukiko's guidance.
Thank you so much Robert and Krystal! I remember our pleasant time in these areas. We found a lot of "Kawaii" small shops and met "Totemo (very) Kawaii" owls! I had a very good time with you. I would like to show you more about my city, Tokyo next time. Please contact with me for your next visit to Japan! Domo Arigatou Gozaimahsita!!
Yukiko san is an excellent tour guide. She toured us in cultural places as well as modern places in Tokyo. She is knowledgeable of the history of the places. My kids like very much.
Erma san, thank you so much!! It was a lovely meeting with your family. Our itinerary covered both traditional, cultural places and modern places that could enjoy for all of them. I'm very pleased that your kids knew well about Japanese history. Please keep learning whatever kids are interested in. I hope you'll visit Japan again in the future. Thank you once again. Domo Arigatou!!
We asked for an off the beaten path tour and Yukiko delivered. She's amazing
Thank you so much for your prompt review, Howard san! During these two days, we visited some off the beaten places and must- see spots in Tokyo. I hope you keep these memorable memories in your mind and will share your experiences with your lovely family. I always welcome you and your family visit Japan again. Thank you once again, Domo Arigatou Gozaimashita!!
Yukiko has great knowledge and expertise which made my tour very enjoyable. She speaks and understands english very well. I would never have seen all the things I saw or experienced without her help. She is also very good with planning which meant we got around seeing things using the shortest and quickest distance between sights. I would highly recommend Yukiko.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review, Peter san! I also learned a lot of things from you. It made my knowledge expanded and inspired my curiosity. I would like to visit your country again in the future. I always welcome you and let's keep in touch. Domo Arigatou Gozaimashita!!
I requested Yukiko show me her Tokyo and to include a garden. After spending 4 days in Tokyo navigating the rail and transport system it was wonderful that Yukiko took over the thinking allowing me the chance to relax and just go. We visited a beautiful garden the fish market where we had a most memorable Sushi lunch then onto a Temple where a religious ceremony was to take place. Yukiko’s planning was inclusive and thorough in the lead up to my trip to Japan. Thank you Yukiko.
Thank you for taking your time to write a review, Barbara! One of my great opportunities during our conversation was that I could hear about the legend tour guide, Joe Okada in Kyoto. I was amazed when I heard his age, 88 years old! As one of great senior guides in Japan, I have respect his attitude and vitality. I'll keep to do my best to progress my guiding skills and broaden my horizon. Domo Arigatou Gozaimashita!
