Hi! I'm Yukiko,Government Certified Guide and worked as Registered Nurse. Thanks to increasing number of repeat clients, referred clients and new clients, tour guide is my current full-time job.
I got National Tour Guide licence in 2015. I've expanded knowledge and a range of tour guiding area including Tokyo, Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Mt.Fuji, Kawagoe, Nagano and west side of Japan such as Kyoto and Osaka. As I have a base of experience as a registered Nurse, I have a better understanding for elderly people and mobility challenged clients. I've been learning medical English.
I was born and raised in Tokyo. I used to teach Japanese culture to local elementary school students when I stayed in Canada, America and New Zealand for about a year and a half. My happiest moments with these children were when they look forward to another lessons every week. It was a challenging job but this experience broaden my horizon and prompted me to become an English tour guide.
If you take my tour, you will learn deeply about everything that comes into your view, get local information and experience many things.
I am a mother of seven years old girl. So I'd be glad to welcome families with young children and I can arrange a tour depending on your situation. Please feel free to ask me anythings.
I'd like to make your stay in Tokyo a real pleasant one.
Thank you, Arigatou!

Thank you Yukiko for a exceptional tour! Yukiko is a wonderful guide with great knowledge and experience in introducing travelers to Japanese culture and history. Her ability to customize our tour and explanations to our needs made our day with her very special. Both the tour and the lunch we spent together included a wealth of information and lots of fun. Yukiko's pre-tour communications and preparations made sure we knew everything needed for our tour and the rest of our time in Japan. Yukiko very successfully customized our tour to perfectly fit our interests with the ability to offer both an excellent overview and a deep dive into subjects of interest. Thank you so much for a great review you gave my tour! Your heartfelt message encouraged me a lot. I really appreciated it from bottom of my heart. I'm sure that you spent a wonderful time at each city after the tour. I also had an enjoyable time with you and learned a lot about your country. I'd like to visit your country to see everything on my eyes someday. I hung a charm on a wall at my house. There are many beautiful places and things to do in Japan, I recommend visiting hot spring next time. I hope we'll meet again in the future. Domo Arigatou Gozaimashita!!
Going to Kamakura with Yukiko was the very best present I could have given myself in Tokyo! She had excellent communication before we met outling in detail our whole interary for our day in Kamakura. We saw everything I hoped to see and did fun things I could not have know about without her wonderful knowledge of the city. She made sure I saw and understood as much of the Japanese culture as she could in out short time together. I was sightseeing alone, and she was so warm and delightful that by the end of our time together I felt as if I had been traveling with a new friend. I was very grateful for how concerned and careful she was to make sure I know how to get back to my hotel. I had the best time with Yukiko and I would definitely love to see more of Japan with her to guide me. Sh... read more

I am lucky to be blessed with having this job which is to love what I do. I will cherish the meeting with you for all my life. Thank you once again for choosing me as your guide in Japan. My husband and I had a wonderful custom tour with Yukiko who introduced us to traveling on Tokyo trains, eating lunch in a tasty noodle restaurant, visiting a temple and seeing the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. Throughout the tour, we learned about history of Japan from materials that Yukiko had prepared. She also cheerfully answered all our questions about Japan. We booked the tour as this was our first time visiting Japan and we wanted a brief introduction to the culture. We scheduled the tour on our first day in Tokyo, with plans to explore on our own the second day. Due to flight problems, we were delayed a day and Yukiko generously adjusted her schedule to conduct our tour the next day. We don’t normally use guide services, but thought this experience was excellent.
Thank you so much for your review, Michele! Arigatou Gozaimasu! Although we had unexpected flight problems, I'm glad that we could do a tour on the next day. I'm pleased to hear the tour could help a better understanding about our history and culture and you enjoyed tasty Soba noodles! As far as I know, only this restaurant serve the special source for noodle in Tokyo. I hope you enjoy the rest of your days in Japan. Domo Arigatou Gozaimashita!!

Thank you so much for your heartfelt review, Ike-san! I really appreciated it. The day we went to Mt.Fuji was very nice clear sunny day with no clouds so that we could see a beautiful whole view of Mt.Fuji from every visiting site. It was great that we could have two available dates for Mt.Fuji Tour and selected the best date. We visited two areas, Kawaguchi ko area and Gotemba area covered all different scenery and activities. I wish the moment will stay in your heart as long as you live. Thank you once again for choosing me as your guide. Domo Arigatou Gozaimashita!!
Our tour with Yukiko was not only the best way that we could have spent our day in Tokyo, but one of the most memorable tours that we've been on. Each moment was customized to our particular interests and introduced us to parts of Tokyo that we would have never found on our own. Memories for a lifetime. Thank you, Yukiko!
