Hi! I'm Yukiko,Government Certified Guide and worked as Registered Nurse. Thanks to increasing number of repeat clients, referred clients and new clients, tour guide is my current full-time job.
I got National Tour Guide licence in 2015. I've expanded knowledge and a range of tour guiding area including Tokyo, Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Mt.Fuji, Kawagoe, Nagano and west side of Japan such as Kyoto and Osaka. As I have a base of experience as a registered Nurse, I have a better understanding for elderly people and mobility challenged clients. I've been learning medical English.
I was born and raised in Tokyo. I used to teach Japanese culture to local elementary school students when I stayed in Canada, America and New Zealand for about a year and a half. My happiest moments with these children were when they look forward to another lessons every week. It was a challenging job but this experience broaden my horizon and prompted me to become an English tour guide.
If you take my tour, you will learn deeply about everything that comes into your view, get local information and experience many things.
I am a mother of seven years old girl. So I'd be glad to welcome families with young children and I can arrange a tour depending on your situation. Please feel free to ask me anythings.
I'd like to make your stay in Tokyo a real pleasant one.
Thank you, Arigatou!

I couldn’t ask for better guide. My first time in Tokyo and had a great n valuable time. Use a scooter to move around and she helped all the time. I learned a lot she is very knowledgeable and very respectful. She takes you where you wish to go and creates wonderful itinerary
Thank you so much for choosing me as your guide for your trip, Nicole! I appreciated your heartfelt review and taking your time to write it. I understand that it was a challenging to move around using scooter in Tokyo, especially we used public transportation such as subway and train all the time. However, we could felt people's hospitality and kindness at each station, restaurants and shops. When we used Shibuya station, three station stuff helped us to make a way on the platform and supported to ride on a train, I thought it was very kind. I'm so pleased to hear that you had a great time in the tour. I know that well preparation and consideration are very much important for mobile challenged clients. I definitely would be happy to be your guide in other cities for your next trip to Jap... read more
We booked Yukiko months ahead of our trip and we had lots of contact before meeting her. When we met her, she was even lovelier as our contact had us believe. She gave us so much information about basic day to day Japanese life, Japanese history, where and what to eat and all about how to ride the trains (which advice is gold dust for any traveller). All this was given in excellent English. We visited Temples, markets and palace gardens. Yukiko even phoned a shop for us as we needed to purchase a plug. Yukiko went above and beyond for us, we will always remember and look back on our time with smiles on our faces. Throughout our time together, Yukiko was helpful, funny and so very charming.....a total joy. She even had a little present for us at the end. We can not recommend Yukiko highl... read more

What a wonderful afternoon we had with Yukiko - she arrived early in her beautiful kimono and wow we did so much in an afternoon - she was very caring with fans for us all as it was very very hot. Showing us how to use the subway was wonderful as we were then able to manage this for the rest of our time in Tokyo. Her knowlwdge of the history of Tokyo was shared with us so readily. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting her and glad she was available for us as we would certainly recommend her services as a wonderful guide. Thankyou
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Cecily! It was a lovely meeting all of you. I am glad that the orientation helped you on your free day and enjoyed the tour. Hope you will have memorable days in other countries as well. Domo Arigatou Gozaimashita!!
From the day I booked Yukiko, I spent we started communicating and planning our itinerary with all the places we wanted to visit in our short 3 day stay. We spent 3 wonderful days in Tokyo with Yukiko. From the moment we met Yukiko she had a smile across her face and was very welcoming to us. She has extensive knowledge about Japanese culture and history. We learned about Japanese customs that are done at the temples and shrines. Yukiko ensured we were able to explore the various places that we were interested in visiting such as Harajuku, Shibuya, Ueno, etc. She is extremely patient-I had developed swollen ankles and could not walk fast so Yukiko walked beside me to insure I was ok and always had me sit on the trains. Thank you Yukiko for making our time in TOkyo unforgettable.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review, Alice! I hope that your feet condition got better and enjoy staying in Kyoto now. I am so glad to hear that you had memorable days in Tokyo. Thank you once again and hope you will visit Japan again. Domo Arigatou!!
