We didn’t know much about this area, which we visited as a cruise port, so we trusted Hiro to show us the sites. We were enthusiastically greeted by his kind smile and pleasant demeanor. We were picked up promptly in a comfortable, air conditioned coach (a hired taxi that stayed with us all day) and Hiro provided various teas and juices. He took us to Matsue town and castle, where he and our driver taught us so much about the area and culture. When the lines were long, he adjusted our itinerary to minimize our waiting time in the heat. He arranged a special lunch for us of fresh seafood in Sakaiminato, then took Us to the bustling Kitaro street where we shopped and took in the weirdness. We were a family of 7, and we all loved Hiro. We can not recommend him enough and strongly encourage yo... read more

I had a great time and memorable trip in Tottori with Hiro. I visited Tottori Castle Ruins, Tottori Sand Dunes, Mount Mitoku, Misasa, Kurayoshi, Hokuei (aka Conan Town), Mount Daisen, Sakaiminato, Hakuto Shrine, and even Miho Shrine in the neighbouring Shimane Prefecture. These were more places than what I initially planned for. Hiro ensured that I was able to see what I wanted to see before giving his recommendations to great places that I was not aware previously. Hiro was also flexible as I requested to switch around the itinerary due to unfriendly weather in one of the days. Thank you Hiro-san for showing me around Tottori, helping me to take pictures and videos, bringing me to eat good food, and teaching me how to navigate the local bus system. I look forward to have you guiding me... read more
Hiroki is a very good guide who creatively solved a number of unexpected travel issues.
Dear Mr and Mrs Elvin. Thank you for all. I hope you had good time in Osaka the following day. And on your way back to NYC. In Takamatsu there are many things that I could do better if I know the area well. As a guide I will study and learn more about Shikoku island and prepare for future. Thank you sincerely and I do wish you visit Japan again. Japan is indeed small island yet so much to see and taste beside teples and shrains. Have a good day. Best regards.hiroki shibata
We had a great time visiting the Sakaiminato region with Hiroki while our ship had a stop there. When we arrived Hiroki was waiting for us at the agreed meeting point with a driver and a ''jumbo taxi'' for our family of six.. His English was very good. Since we had limited time to visit, we were happy to have a very well organized guide with us. The tour was well managed and we got to see what was in our program for the day. We enjoyed every place we visited. Hiroki has a good sens of humour and know how to ad a local touch to the tour. Excellent restaurant choice. Hiroki is very knowledgeable and a pleasing person to be around. Without hesitation we would recommend Hiroki as a guide.
