My husband and I enjoyed a great day in Hiroshima with Mayumi! She was very efficient in navigating public transportation. She helped us book trains to and from Kyoto, and showed us around all of the JR transport around Hiroshima. We loved our morning at Miyajima on the island, we had so much fun seeing the shrines, temples, and shops. Mayumi then took us to a local restaurant to try Okonomi-Yaki, which is a dish traditional to Hiroshima, which happened to be our favorite meal in all of Japan! Mayumi was also very knowledgeable about the peace park, museum, and history of Hiroshima. We definitely recommend spending a day with Mayumi!
Dear Ann, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave me such a great review. It was so nice meeting you two. How was the Tokyo Disney Land? I bet you had a super happy day over there, LOL. You look like a match in heaven! Happily ever after...... Mayumi
Mayumi was such a great guide for showing us the significant sites of Hiroshima, and explaining the events that forever changed this beautiful city. We also managed to make our way down to Miyajima to see the beautiful floating tori gate and the beautiful shrines and temples there, not to mention the wild deer roaming about freely. Despite our visit occurring during both Golden Week, and the Hiroshima Flower Festival, with a huge surge of additional visitors, she helped us navigate through everything so we could see as much as possible despite the crowds. She was extremely knowledgeable, and very kind. We couldn't recommend her highly enough! Thank you Mayumi!
Dear George, I appreciate your wonderful review. It makes my day. Although It was surely a huge surge of visitors or tourists, we somehow made it thanks to your consideration and thoughtfulness. Deer beer was really palatable for that hot day! Thank you very much. All the best, Mayumi
Dear Dipika, I would like to thank you for a rewarding word. It was an honor to meet such a great client, who inspires me to grow more. It was great to read how you mentioned. With best wishes. Mayumi
Mayumi loves Hiroshima, the city she was born and lives in, and this comes across to the benefit of her clients. She is very knowledgeable, her English is excellent and she was capable of adjusting the tour to our particular requirements, even on the day. Highly recommended.
Dear Thomas, I thank you so much for taking the time to leave a good review. It was a lovely day for sure I could spend with you and your gracious family. You are a lucky Dad who has such beautiful young daughters. Wish you all happiness and peace for ever. Best, Mayumi
What a fabulous day we had in Hiroshima! Along with the perfect driver, we toured Hiroshima Peace Park and the Children's Peace Monument with Mayumi. She taught us all (3 American couples) how to make an origami paper crane that we placed in the Children's Peace Memorial. One of our fondest memories! Next we took the ferry to Mijajima Island and explored the beautiful Tori gate and the temples. We walked through the shopping area and sat down for a tasty treat of Momiji Manju (filled pastry) cakes with Japanese tea. What a fun experience. We took the ferry back to the mainland before returning to the ship. Mayumi's English is perfect and her love for her country is very evident. I asked MANY questions before we met and Mayumi met all our expectations. It was the perfect day - don't... read more
Dear Claudia, I am so grateful to you for this wonderful review and happy to know that you enjoyed the tour. We started to communicate in July last year, didn't we? I thought it would be still far away, though. it surely came. Time flies! I also very much enjoyed being with you and your group members, who are all active and independent-minded travelers. Please keep writing your own tales on a blank page at more places you travel all over the the world. God bless you all Mayumi.
