Takako took us for a day trip to some of the famous sights in Tokyo our first full day in Tokyo. One of the things I asked her to do was to help me learn how to navigate the Tokyo train and subway system. I’ve ridden subways in Washington DC, San Francisco, New York, Montreal etc. but those cities have one subway line unlike Tokyo which has a multitude of lines. Getting prepare to go to Tokyo I was overwhelmed with how complex the system appeared. Well it is complex but Takako was very patient and helpful in getting me familiar with the system to the point that I was able to venture out on the second full day here on my own and was able to navigate the train system fairly well. Granted I did not try to change trains in some of the busiest train stations such as Shinjuku or Shibuya, th... read more
We had a wonderful day visiting the Hama-Rikyu Gardens, Koishikawa-Korakuen Gardens and the Rikugien Gardens. We experienced a Tea Ceremony in an old traditional tea house set in a beautiful garden with many very old bonsai on display. We also enjoyed a stroll through the old Yanaka area. Takako could explain the important history and arrangement of each garden and talk about the plants and special features. Cherry blossom time made our day very special. Without the knowledge and organisation of Takako it would have been difficult to use the subway as efficiently as we did. The train system is difficult to work out and we appreciated being able to learn how to use it. Takako also shared many insights into the Japanese culture and way of life. She is a wonderful guide, friendly, flexibl... read more

We could not have asked for a better guide to show our group around Tokyo. Taka was knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. She was also kind and patient. Our group was rather large but she made it feel intimate. At the end of our tour, our entire group was sad to part ways with her. We would highly recommend Taka for any tour around Tokyo. You will be so happy and pleased with your experience.
Dear Amy Thank you for your review. I enjoyed your tour because all your members are so good ! I appreciate for your listening to me very well . I felt miss you at the end. I keep crossing for your safe travel and your happiness. See you some day !! Best wishes Takako
Takako was fun to be with. She is a hard worker and tries to please. She got us everywhere we wanted to go. We might have made better choices but that was our fault.
Dear Rosemarie . Thank you for your review. It was a wonderful day for strolling. Have you recovered from coughing ? We waljed a lot, I think we could see the most modern places. in Tokyo. You will be able to see the traditional gardens in KYOTO. Thanks Takako Takata
We spent a great day exploring shrines, Imperial palace, Tsukiji and Toyosu fish market. She helped us navigate thru the subways and buses. She is very patient and kind and provided interesting facts about each site we visited. She made sure we knew what train to take back to our hotel. Thanks again Takako for making our time in Tokyo so enjoyable!
Dear Feye ＆ your family. I am very glad to hear that you were satisfied with your tour. It's my grate preasure to coordinate the tour plan . Thanks Takako
Takako was kind enough to accomodate our last minute location change and even met us at our new out of the way location for the meet up. From the time we met her to the end of the tour she did her best to make sure we were engaged, making easy and lively conversation. She showed us some of the best spots on the way to our Yukata appointment, made sure we got to see a beautiful skyline view and gave some helpful hints. In addition she exhibited gracious patients as group members wanted to take large amounts of photos. Taking into account the physical health and constitution of the group as a whole she would match the walking to what was best and also allowed us to stop for a nice cooling break. All in all, Takako was a fantastic tour guide, so if and when I or people I know go to Japan in t... read more
Thank you for your review telling that you loved the time with me. I am very glad tof your fan in Asalusa Kimono tour as well. It is my pleasure to see the guests enjoying the tour and satisfied with it. It was the recorded high temperature on that day but I was relieved that all members , especially your Mom, looked happy in Kimono. I am looking forward to meeting you again. Thanks
Group of 8 pax. (age ranging from Grandma to 10 years old). First timers in Toyko. We were not into boring coach tours, no parks or gardens, but wanted to see weird, interesting and uniquely Tokyo things that would wow us. After researching Tokyo's bucket list, we passed Takako a list of things we wanted to included with our time with her, and she devised a itinerary incorporating our requests. She did a brilliant job to helped us get the best of the city for first timers in the short time we had. We spent 2 days with her. We really enjoyed our time with Takako and at no point did we feel rushed. She saved us from getting lost in the metro system or trying to work out which exits to use. She taught us customs and rituals that we would not know about unless we had read up on... read more

I would like to highly recommend Takato as a guide. Having only one day to spend in Tokyo I wanted to get the most out of my tour. The weather was cold and wet but Takato very cleverly arranged both indoor and outdoor sights.. she was very easy to communicate with and went well above her duty to ensure that I had a wonderful day. Her historical knowledge is amazing and she was kind and very friendly. She was able to provide deep insights in to Tokyo and Japanese people which I never would have discovered without her. I will definitely use her again the next time that I am in Tokyo. A great great day and Despite the horrible weather I enjoyed every minute. Many many thanks Takato. Olive Plunkett

Toured with Takako on April 19th - our first day in Tokyo. She was very accommodating trying to help us find wifi pocket card near where we stayed and adjusted to our shifting schedule. Showed us everywhere we had wanted to see, it was a full day from 9 - 5 pm. Group was tired at the end but she still had energy to keep going. Highly recommend and wouldn't regret. THANKYOU Takako!
Dear Louise Thank you for your joining to my tour. We walked a lot. Next day could you go to Akihabara ? I wish you are all well and happy. Thank you all . Takako Takata
We could not ask for a better guide. She arrived prior to the scheduled time, well prepared with the day agenda, very polite and full of energy. She showed us around and explained the history of these places as well as giving us some time to explore the areas. She answered all of our questions. We had a nice lunch with her and she even joined us to eat some cotton candy. She took pictures for our family. At the end of our tour, she made sure to drop us off at our place even though she did not have to. We had fun, spending time with Mrs. Takako and would definitely recommend her service. Thank you so much for a wonderful time, Mrs. Takako! Tiffany
Dear Tiffany , Wiilian, Jackie and Willy Thank you for your joining to my tour. That was very happy day with you. We walked a lot , around 20000 steps we took. Are you well ? I wish your nice tour in Japan. I would like to go to your home town some days. See you again Takako Takata
Takako is an excellent guide. She put together a perfect tour for us. We wanted to learn of Japanese customs and history. She explained things very well. There was not one question we asked that she was not able to give information. She was very understanding of my wife who has difficulties with walking due to MS. We would gladly tour with her again.
Dear John ＆your families. Thank you for your inquiry to me. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour with me. I enjoyed the time with you and your family. You have so great son ！ See you again someday. Thanks Takako Takata
Takako met us on time at our hotel. Very pleasing personality and very patient with us. She guided us and gave us a lot of historical information about the places we visited. We can recommend Takako if we have friends visiting Tokyo.

Thankyou Takako for a wonderful day out . You helped me to learn so much about the beauty of Japanese gardens, Japanese tea ceremony, Sumo wrestling and other Japanese traditions. You introduced me to the train and subway systems in Tokyo and some beautiful Japanese food. I would recommend you talk with Takako if you have never been to Tokyo as she is a wonderful guide.
Dear Jennifer Thak you very much for inquiry to my tour. I am very glad to have the review telling you enjoyed the time in Tokyo with me. Now it is very beautiful season in Tokyo where you could have nice views with autumn color. A lot of talk with you was so wonderful as if with one of my friends. See you again Takako Takata
My family and I are so grateful for the guide service of Takako-san. She speaks english well which is very important. She is well-informed of the spots that we visited that made our visits interesting. She is kind, polite and motherly as she thinks of us first before herself. She has more energy than any of us inspite her age as she was willing to cover all the places we suggested, it was us who surrendered the walking hahaha 🤗. By the end of the day, we let her go home ahead of us but she insisted to stay and made sure we got the right train ride back to our stay. Overall, it was a productive and wonderful experience with her. Thank you Kako-san! Until we meet again.
Dear Sheila and your family Thank you for your review. It is my pleasure to introduce the places where you want to visit in your requested way. I enjoyed to be with your nice family as if I was a member of your family. I love your nationality having a strong bond of family . I would like to see you again someday . Best wishes Takako Takata
Our first day in tokyo we had Takako show us around. It was perfect as she was able to show us how to use the subway and book our tickets to Nikko. Very friendly and adapted to what we wanted to do. Would highly recommend her as a guide.Thank you Takako for an enjoyable day.
Dear Joyce Hello! Very sorry for my late reply to your review . Almost one month has passed since I guided your nice group, so the trees turned in red or yerrow colore , autumn color. I think you returned to the daily bussy life. I pray for your happy days. See you again in some day. Best wishes Takako Takata
Takako is a friendly, knowledgeable, and organized guide. We met as scheduled and she went over a printed itinerary before we started. Our Tokyo city included Tsukiji Fish Market, Hamarikyu Garden, Asakusa Sensoji Temple, and the Meiji Shrine as well as a break for lunch. An unexpected bonus was a river cruise from Hamarikyu Garden to Asakusa. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would ask Takako again if we had to do it over.
Ken ＆ Reiko san I was very glad to have a nice time with you. In the morning, I was worried for the storm by tyhoon but we could have a very nice time under the sunshrine. I think it is because of your good behavior in your daily life ! It was a great encounter to me. Thanks ＆ See you someday Takako Takata
Takako is knowledgeable of the Tokyo area and she plans her tours well. We hired her for two days and we saw a variety of places. We had an enjoyable time.
Thank you for your quick review ! My pedometer tells that we took totally over about 40,000 steps covering more than 30 km !! Today you can enjoy walkin at your own pace 😊 Have a nice tome in Japan , Kyoto , Osaka and Nara with your friend. Best regards Takako Takata
My wife and I greatly enjoyed our tour with Takako. We joined her on our first day in Japan and Tokyo. Tatako met us right on time at the hotel. From there she took us to the subway where she showed us how to purchase tickets, how the system worked etc,. From there we took the subway to the Tokyo Fish Market. We had an excellent tour of the Tokyo fish market and then went for a nice Japanese lunch together. Following that, and based upon our prior email request, Takako took us to see the beautiful Imperial Palace. Tatako answered all of our questions, took photographs, pointed out things of interest and kept up a nice steady pace. Tatako is a sweet person who has a very nice happy demeanour and a good sense of humour. Being as my wife is very interested in the kimono, Takako kindly agre... read more

Our day with Takako was fantastic! What incredible energy this woman has! She took us all over Tokyo based on the itinerary we agreed upon, but spontaneously threw in unexpected experiences along the way that went above and beyond. She took us to see “piss alley” — a narrow street with tiny yakatori bars — and then we made an impromptu stop at one she knew and had a great time together there! What a nice, warm and classy lady. We highly recommend her. And she gave us a lovely gift at the end of our tour that was most generous and thoughtful. Thank you, Takako!!! Cheryl & Amir from New York, USA.
Dear Chery & Amir I am very sorry for late reply to your revie. It was wonderful time to have been with you , especially to have dropped in the small Japanese restaurant . I pray for your happy days from now on !! See you someday Takako Takata
We spent our first day in Tokyo with Takako and could not recommend it more highly. She gave us a wonderful overview of some of the sites of this vast city. The day was a good blend of the old and the new and we had a lovely lunch in a small restaurant. We left our day with lots of history, some local etiquette and confidence to use the Metro and buy tickets on our own. A wonderful introduction to this city. Thank you Takako!!
Dear Emma ＆your family It was the great moment to be with your woderful family members. I am very glad to introduce some aspects of Japan. I will keep my fingers crossed for your nice and safe travel. Thanks ＆ See you someday Takako
Takako was so sweet and lovely to spend time with
Thank you for your review amd the nice time with your family. Your tour request was so well-organized that you could see the historical moment in the sumo tornament. See you again in some future. Takako Takata
Our group of 14 people had a wonderful time with Takako. Even with a big group Takako managed it very well in the subway with lots of crowds. The lunch which Takako had reserved in advance was super delicious, we had a private japanese style room which made an unique experience too! Thank you Takako and hope to see you again if we'll be in Tokyo Natalie
Hello ! I was very happy to introduce the sight seeing spots , traditional or contemporary spots to your group including the young generations. Did the young generations enjoy at Akihabara where I was very sorry to have no time to stay with you ? I am very glad to hear that you were satisfied with the Japanese restaurant . I enjoyed the nice tome of talking with your members about various topics! You have the nice family members ! Thank you for your much consideration to me. Best wishes & see you again Takata Takako
I enjoyed the pleasure of Takako Takata’ guidance for three days in Tokyo. We put in nearly 90,000 steps and visited at least a dozen major sights. The first two days we explored the primary tourist sights of the city…Tsukiji Fish Market, where I was able to sample fruits and seafood I’ve never even heard of before; Kabukiza theatre where we saw an authentic kabuki performance; then on to Ginza and Asakusa to marvel at the Sensoji shrine. Day two we saw more spectacular sights. All the while Takaka kept a gentle pace and always taking time to answer questions and explain the history, the architecture or to simply point out unique features of each location so that I could fully appreciate the magnitude. Day three we took a train out to explore Tokyo’s beautiful bay area. Definitely a ... read more
Thank you for the wonderful three days together with you. We walked a lot and marked the biggest numbers of the steps, didn't we. I like to coordinate the tours、where I should take my guests , how to go there in the limited hours and how to show the sightseeing places. Your energetic walks trained through the daly Yoga practice enabled to cover the many places and go there on time. The Bay Area is my favorite place in Tokyo, where will be more developed for the summer olimpics in 2020. I would like to see you again then. Your tour was once in my lifetime experience to me. I keep my fingers crossed for your safe flight to your home and for yor happyness . Best wishes Takako
Takako was fabulous. Excellent email communication. She took my elderly mother on a wonderful day tour of Tokyo and then arranged her transfer to Narita Airport at the end of the day. Really appreciated the photos she sent me of their day together.
Dear Janette & Roger I do appreciate your inquiring to me. I enjoyed the tour with your mother. She was very energetic and tough beyond my imagination. We talked a lot of the hobbies , life and so on. She would be my ideal model in my future. Thanks & See you again Takako
Takako went above and beyond her role to show us Tokyo. She was very flexible and accommodated us such that we could see all that we wanted. She did not rush us at all. All in all a very pleasant and informative tour. She is so sweet that she even bought a birthday present for my daughter. Thank you, Takako!!
It is my great pleasure to see the guests , especially your daughter enjoy her birthday . This encounter to your family, great mam, smart son and charming daughter is one of my nice memories. In jajan, we have the nice wareds to express such a nice experience , " 一期一会 inch go iche " come from the tea ceremony which means that the encounter is once in our life times. Thank for the wonderful encounter to you! I keep my fingers crossed for your hsppiness. Have a nice day in Kyoto. T.Takako
A great tour with the charming Takako. We covered a lot of locations and learnt so much about the sights and life in Tokyo. Takako was a wonderful guide and her knowledge and insight gave us so much more than a large guided tour or a head down in a guidebook experience. We got to experience tasting at the fish market, and the stores around Tokyo. And lots of special one-off moments such as tasting sake from Japanese lacquer bowls. I thoroughly enjoyed our day in Tokyo with Takako and would highly recommend her. Takako-san - thank you very much
Dear Rae-san Thank you very much for your review telling that you enjoyed the tour in Tokyo. It is a great pleasure to make a plan in accordance with the requests and introduce the intresting places in the attractive ways. The sake-tasting with a wonderful lacquer ware cup was a special treat served from the shop for the nice guests. Anyway I would like to express to you my deep gratitude for your visit to Japan and inquiry to my tour. Thanks. See you again Takako Takata.
TakaKo was very knowledgeable and showed us many things that we would not have seen otherwise. We enjoyed our time spent with her and appreciated her giving us a glimpse of Japanese life. Lunch with her was like having lunch with family. Thank you so much TakaKo!
Hello! How have you been ? Thank you for your joining to my tour. I was worried about your tour because of the typhoon , or cyclone. However I was glad to meet you and guide even one day. I am very glad to hear that you could enjoy my tour and It is a great pleasure that I could introduce the attractive city , Tokyo and have the lunch together with you. Now Japan is still in the season of typhoon . Best regards Takako
Takako is an excellent guide who went out of her way to make my day with her productive and enjoyable. She has a spectacular knowledge of Tokyo, and was able to incorporate all of the activities and places that I wanted to see, in one day. She introduced me to things that I would have ordinarily glossed over. For instance, we went to the Meji Shrine, which most tourists visit. However, while there, she gave me the opportunity to have my fortune told by the "shrine maidens" --not something that I would ever have thought to have done there. We also went to the Sensoji Temple, where again, she explained parts of the Temple, including the paintings leading up to the main part of the Temple, that I never would have noticed. We also went sake tasting and kimono shopping, as Takako is an expert i... read more

It was my great pleasure to have introduced the attractive things and places of Japan to you, especially kimonos and sake " Japanese rice wine" which are two my big concerns. Takako was a wonderful tour guide of the main areas of Tokyo for my extended family visiting Japan for the first time. She took input from us before the tour, tailored it and gave helpful information along the way. She was delightful to spend the afternoon with and not only showed us the sights but helped prepare us to navigate the big city.
Dear Mochoiko-san . I was so happy to guide you and introduce the traditional and pop cultures . I do appriciate for your joining my tour. I felt the feelings that you are indeed the decendants of Japanese and was very glad to introduce the country of your parents or grand parenats. I am looking forward to seeing you again in some future. Takako Takata
Takako was very patient and accommodating. She showed us places that we would not have found.
Thank you for your joining my tour. I suppose you enjoyed shopping the many souvenirs. See you again TakaKo takata
We met Takako on our recent trip to Tokyo. She was our guide for the 6 hour trip which included Tokyo's main points of interests as well as Shrines and temples. We highly recommend Takako as your guide to Japan; she was very knowledgable and took care of our family of 5. We covered every place in our list in a short period of Time. Our visit to Tokyo was a success, thank you Takako. :-)
Dear Mr. Oswald & your nice family members It was my great pleasure to introduce the historical and modern Tokyo to you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the happiness of your family. I am very appreciated for your joining my tour.
Taka-san was a lovely and exceptionally patient guide. She accommodated all of our requests including helping us purchase train tickets. She definitely went above and beyond and we would highly recommend her services.
Hello! Shirley and your family. Thank you for joining my tour and your consideration. I was very pleased that I had a wonderful time with you. I wish that you would enjoy a heavy snow in Nagano and come back safely to Tokyo. See you again someday.
Takako customized a Tokyo tour for my wife and I that we truly enjoyed. She speaks excellent English, is soft spoken and very clear and has a wonderful personality. The tour itself felt very personal, was full of good background information and Takako fully answered all of our questions. When the tour was over, we felt we were saying goodbye to a friend rather than a service acquaintance. Ken & Jacque Boff
Ken & Jacque, I would like to express to you my deepest gratitude for nominating me as the guide for you. I was very glad to hear that Jacque are interested in my presentation. Therefore I made you the customized tour in the kimono . That was my great pleasure. Ken knew a lot of knowledges about Japan. I was very hornered to have guided you. We have a nice expression which originates to the idea of the tea ceremony," the encounter is once in a life time". This encounter will be one of the best memories in my life. See you again, Ken and Jacque. Takako.
