Hello! I am Takako Takata. I was born in Kyoto and grew up in other several districts in Japan
where I was attracted by each place's feature. I started the tour guiding in 2009 in which I introduce interesting and unique spots to tourists. I love to share the marvelous time and moment with people through tours. In Japanese, we have a wonderful phrase expressing such moment and we call it "Ichigo Ichie". It means we have to treasure every encounter, a once-in-
a-lifetime-encounter that is , as it may not recur again. This word came from the spirit of tea ceremony. Anyway, let us enjoy extraordinary tours in Tokyo together, shall we ?

Takako is an excellent guide. She put together a perfect tour for us. We wanted to learn of Japanese customs and history. She explained things very well. There was not one question we asked that she was not able to give information. She was very understanding of my wife who has difficulties with walking due to MS. We would gladly tour with her again.
Takako met us on time at our hotel. Very pleasing personality and very patient with us. She guided us and gave us a lot of historical information about the places we visited. We can recommend Takako if we have friends visiting Tokyo.
Thankyou Takako for a wonderful day out . You helped me to learn so much about the beauty of Japanese gardens, Japanese tea ceremony, Sumo wrestling and other Japanese traditions. You introduced me to the train and subway systems in Tokyo and some beautiful Japanese food. I would recommend you talk with Takako if you have never been to Tokyo as she is a wonderful guide.
My family and I are so grateful for the guide service of Takako-san. She speaks english well which is very important. She is well-informed of the spots that we visited that made our visits interesting. She is kind, polite and motherly as she thinks of us first before herself. She has more energy than any of us inspite her age as she was willing to cover all the places we suggested, it was us who surrendered the walking hahaha 🤗. By the end of the day, we let her go home ahead of us but she insisted to stay and made sure we got the right train ride back to our stay. Overall, it was a productive and wonderful experience with her. Thank you Kako-san! Until we meet again.
Our first day in tokyo we had Takako show us around. It was perfect as she was able to show us how to use the subway and book our tickets to Nikko. Very friendly and adapted to what we wanted to do. Would highly recommend her as a guide.Thank you Takako for an enjoyable day.
