I've been working as an adviser teacher of public junior high schools. I've been interested in guiding Japanese popular sightseeing spots to visitors from abroad. I'm really looking forward to meeting many tourists interested in Japanese culture and history. I really hope many people to know Japanese culture, including Japanese cuisine.

When we watched his video, we could see that Akira has a love for people and sharing his culture with them, and from the moment he collected us from our hotel lobby, we knew we'd made the right choice. Akira immersed us in the culture and history of Tokyo and of Japan with his vast supply of stories, facts and tips. He quickly adapted our program to meet last minute dietary needs, and gave us a personalised tour to our special requirements (robots and architecture). He also had detailed instructions for other amazing sights for us to visit for the rest of our trip, ensuring that from a 1 day tour we had enough information for a weeks adventuring! I can't imagine a better guide for our introduction to Japan and today's tour will always be a fond memory for us. Arigato gozaimas, Akira-san.
We enjoyed very much the dynamic day we had touring around Tokyo with Akira. He organized very well all the stops such that we saw almost everything that was important - from cherry blossom Gardens to shinto temples, walking through fashion streets, wandering around the Emperor's Gardens, admiring Buddist temples to end up in a the Governamental Builing sky scrapper to enjoy the wonderful view of Tokyo by night. He also took into consideration out wishes and we moved through the city at our own pace-which meant walking almost 20km that day! But he made it very interesting by sharing with us details about the Japanese culture, history, religion and customs. Absolutely reccomended! Thank you very much Akira, we have a very beatiful memory of our day together in Tokyo!
Akira san was our guide when we were in Tokyo early April 2017. Before our visit, he was prompt and meticulous in communicating with us and planning our one day Trip around Tokyo with him. He was keen to show us as much as one could do in a day and chose attractions with input from us - understanding our interests and matching them with the itinerary he prepared. As most Japanese do, he put his heart and soul into doing the best. We will highly recommend him.
Met Akira online. We had only 2 full days on our visit so we opted for a guide both days all day. No car so we took many expensive taxis to save time. Akira was terrific. A retired English teacher with good language skills. He was so much more than a simple tour guide. We peppered him with a questions from history to current events. He took us to fish market and usual sights, we were there during peak cherry blossom season. Ate sushi with him for very first time in his fav place. Outstanding. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed the 3 days with Akira showing us some amazing places around Tokyo. Akira was very pleasant and obliging. Would like to catch up another time. Trevor San and Jill San.
