Akira was very personable and took good care of the group. Did a great job.
Dear John-san. Thank you for your great message which could nurture motivation for being a better guide. I’m most grateful to you that you sent me such a good evaluation. I myself had a great time for two days thanks to your nice personality. I definitely hope to see you when you happen to visit Japan again. Say hello to everyone, please. Best regards, Akira
First and foremost, Akira is a wonderful warm person, beside being a fantastic knowledgeable and fun tour guide. We had a great time as Akira showed us 3 different sides of Tokyo. Firstly, the vibrant hustle and bustle interesting historic Tsukiji Outer market with a delicious lunch at a nice local sushi/sashimi restaurant, and some shopping afterwards. Then we headed to the nearby beautiful serene Hamarikyu Edo-period Garden. What a nice after lunch walk around the garden and enjoyed a exquisite bowl of matcha green tea and Japanese sweets in the Japanese tea house on the lake. Along the way we hear stories and history of the garden. It’s so enjoyable, comforting, and “zen” relaxing in the midst of busy Tokyo. Thereafter, we took a ferry/water bus to Asakusa, which gave us the feeling of ... read more
Dear Mandy-san. Thank you for such an encouraging review that has made me much more motivated. Actually I was worried that you might have had a relapse after you had caught a Japanese cold. I hope you’re feeling much better now. You game me one of my most memorable impressions during the tour. I am very much impressed that you were so well prepared for the itineraries. You checked how to purchase the tickets for Takao yourself the day before. And you amazingly knew about Japanese cultures and words. That created a good atmosphere of camaraderie between you and me. I was also surprised that all three members got together through one hairstylist. That’s why I myself had such a great day through the tour. I’d like to say thank you for all of your kindness, friendship and affability... read more
Prior to visiting Japan my wife and I asked Akira to put together an itinerary in Tokyo that would help us to understand Japanese culture, visit famous sites and sample Japanese food, Akira delivered all this and more. Akira was very knowledgeable and his English was very good, also he was interested in us and we had good chats about politics, economics, history, art etc.. swapping facts and stories from both Japan and the UK. As we had two days with Akira and the weather was good we were able to balance visiting museums with walking tours of gardens and shrines and Akira changed the itinerary according to the circumstances. Akira was very punctual, always there waiting for us and well prepared. We would thoroughly recommend Akira to anyone visiting Tokyo
Dear Andy-san and Carol-san. Good morning and good evening. Thank you very much for such a wonderful review for me! I’m very happy to receive it. I was very much privileged to such a nice couple, so I myself had a great time thanks to your generous personality, friendliness, relaxed atmosphere and abundant interest in Japanese culture. I really enjoyed talking with you a lot about various kinds of things. Such a nice flattery has become great incentive and motivation for me. I’ll live up to your words to be a nicer guide from now onward. I’m looking forward to seeing you again when you happen to have a chance to visit Tokyo. Thank you again. Enjoy golfing! See you. Best regards, Akira
We booked Akira for a day in Hakone through triple lights and hoped for the best. We were so happy to meet and spend the day with Akira who is a great guide. He is very knowledgeable, flexible and patient - and his English is just great. If you are looking for a perfect day in Hakone, we can highly recommend Akira. He's terrific!
Dear Jeff-san and Barbara-san. I’m most grateful to you that you sent me such a marvelous review which has become a good incentive for me and is so encouraging. I myself had a very great time thanks to your friendliness and good personality. I was so glad you liked another kind of sushi, or “inari-zushi “, flavored boiled rice wrapped in fried bean curd. I hope you had a wonderful time in Japan during your 11-day tour. I definitely would like you to come to Japan again, and I really hope to guide you, especially in and around Tokyo. I’ll live up to your compliment to be a better guide! Thank you again. See you soon! Best regards, Akira
We spent the day with Akira in Tokyo. Right from the get go Akira had a comprehensive itinerary planned out for us. Not only did Akira explain all the landmarks in detail that we had visited he also took time out to mention things that we had passed and wouldn't of realised were even there if he had not mentioned it. Akira was also very accommodating with our children, he kept them interested and entertained all day. He was so lovely that we passed a toy store that our children wanted to visit and he was happy to stop and let them have time to explore the store. Most tours you would take this would not be possible, but with Akira nothing was too much trouble. I would be extremely happy to recommend Akira if you wanted to see the sights in Tokyo, he has a wealth on knowledge. He is also g... read more
Dear Marianne-san, Anthony-san, and Happy Flower! Thank you for your lovely message which encourages me to keep the good work. It’s also a wonderful incentive to me. I’m so happy to read it. Your comments makes my efforts worthwhile. It’s true I myself had a very good time with everyone of your family. That has become one of my pleasant memory. When I gave you a couple of questions, everyone participated in a good mood. I hope it helped you understand just one facet of Japanese cultures and history. Anthony-san, I hope you’ll get the “PULL SAW” ASAP. I’m really happy to see nice people like your family. So I’m very much looking forward to seeing you again. When you visit Tokyo again, I’d like you to contact me, please! Thank you very much again. See you soon! Best regards, ... read more
