I started tour guide for guests in 2016. My expertise is in Hakone and would be happy to extend tours to Kamakura, Mt.Fuji and Tokyo area. Motivation for me is to interact with guests from various countries in the world and to provide "only one experience" in Japan. My hobbies are playing soccer, watching sport games, reading history books, travels with family, and movies. I'm expecting to meet you and talk about these topics.

Even before we booked the tour, Junichiro or Kochi as we called him, was very responsive to our questions. He was pro-active and very detailed in mapping out our itinerary. He met us at Odawara station and from that point onwards, it was smooth sailing. He took us to all the highlights of the Hakone area and it didn’t hurt that we had a crystal clear view of Mt Fuji on that day. Junichiro/Kochi took us to a very nice restaurant, and we experienced sitting and eating on Tatami mats. He was very knowledgeable and had an excellent command of English. Most of all, he was very considerate and steered us clear of steep stairs especially when he saw that a couple of members in our team had difficulty with climbing. We had a great time with Junichiro/Kochi and would highly recommend him as a guide.
Exceptionally prepared - Kochi-san was flawless. He was patient with our multiple changes to the itinerary, made excellent dining recommendations, assisted in translations, was engaging and overall excellent company. We had a wonderful time in Japan and he was a large part of the reason. Junichiro kept the whole family stress free.
Junichiro handled some of my clients who have mobility issues and was very helpful from the time of booking, and as we prepared for their trip. The clients in question have just returned to the US, so I haven't heard their full review, but they briefly told me that they loved spending the day with him. Overall, I thought he was very accommodating, and was very clear about everything the clients needed to do (mostly purchase their Hakone Free Pass tickets.) Thanks for helping my clients!
We had excellent time with Junichiro. Our trip to Kamakura was absolutely great. We can highly recommend him as a very knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humour!
We booked a tour with Junichiro Kochi on Wed (10/5/17), that included my wife, my daughter, son-in-law, and my two grandsons (ages 13 and 17). totaling 6 persons. Kochi-san was very personable and informative, and his tour was very enjoyable. He explanation of the sites were very thorough and he also entertained us with quizes during our train rides. My whole family enjoyed his tour very much - thank you Kochi-san. Roy Tamashiro
