I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter living in Yamanashi Prefecture. My name is Yuji. The area of Mt. Fuji is actually part of Yamanashi Prefecture. Tourists to Mt. Fuji area are not necessarily aware of that. Mt. Fuji as the highest mountain in Japan is on the border of Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures. In Yamanashi sit the 2nd highest mountain, Mt. Kitadake and the 3rd highest mountain of Mt. Ainodake. Yamanashi faces no sea and capital city of Kofu is in the basin area.
I grew up in Yamanashi until high school and then I studied and worked in Tokyo Metropolitan area. I came back to Yamanashi at the end of 2002. During my working days for companies including Harley-Davidson Japan, I had sharpened my English and communication skills. I had some opportunities to escort executives or employees of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and I have vaguely been thinking how rewarding it is to guide people. Now I have clear prospect about guiding.
After I came back to Yamanashi, I have also developed further enthusiasm about hiking in mountains and exploring the nature. If you are interested in any special type of hiking such as hiking to see snow capped Mt. Fuji, I will be the perfect fit to arrange. I have many hiking experiences including several times to Mt. Fuji, 2nd highest Kitadake and many more mountains in Yamanashi, Mt. Fuji Area.
Due to my strong interest about people from different background and different culture, I love to meet people. I am flexible and act flexible. This will be my basis about being in this field.
I look forward to meeting a lot of people through my guiding. I have developed my tour plans listed but I can make your dreams come true through any other planning as well. I can explore things with you, hike with you, and even climb Mt. Fuji with you.
Please contact me to find more and what I can offer.
I will respond quickly. I am learning Halal things now.

We booked a two day tour with Yuji of the Mt Fuji area, starting in Kawaguchigo and ending in Hakone to catch the Romance train back to Tokyo. We had asked Yuji to keep the planning fairly flexible as the activities we might want to do (being a photography enthusiast) would vary according to the weather, whether Mt Fuji was visible, the forecast for the next day adn whether the cherry blossoms were early or late. As it turned out the weather was fantastic for our visit and so we spent much of the time finding viewpoints of Mt fuji along the lakes, especially where there were later flowering cherry varieties (since the main flowering was unfortunately very early this year and basically finished for our arrival). But Yuji still included all the standard things like temples, Fifth Station, ropeway, caves and museums. Would definately book Yuji again if we are back at Mt Fuji.
With less than 24 hours notice, Yuji was able to put together a great Tokyo city tour that hit the highlights we wanted to see plus some other things we would not have thought of. Recommended!
We just finished a two day trip in Yamanashi with Yuji and we had so much fun! Yuji is the coolest tour guide, he is very knowledgeable and friendly and we can’t imagine taking our tour with anyone else! From the beginning to the end, Yuji accommodated all of our needs and took very good care of us, he answered all of our questions and even told us about things we would never have thought to ask. We were able to fit a lot of activities into two days thanks to Yuji’s expert planning and some of our highlights included visiting Mt. Fuji at Fifth Station and going to a cave and seeing a pagoda and doing some shopping! We came away from our tour with truly wonderful memories that we will cherish forever! We highly recommend Yuji, he is a wonderful tour guide!
We had a wonderful experience with Yuji-San Blessed with a perfect day we were able to enjoy the entire day viewing the majestic Mt Fuji from early morning to evening. Anyone looking for a knowledgeable guide of Mt Fuji and surrounding area Yuji is your guy.
Being a person who views flexibility as one of the top criteria during a holiday trip therefore engaging a private guide is the best option for me however it alway a hit or miss issue. As for my experience with Yuji San; it was definitely a hit! Not only did he took good care of my family needs, he even try to fulfil our expectations of this trip example having last minute change in itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances / solving my transportation issue (am traveling with old and young family members) . Giving us various option with details so as to let us to make an informed decision. He is knowledgeable in his field; he will make sure he tell us all the details of the place we went to. Friendly and warm personality of his make this trip comfortable. Definitely will recommend him to others.
