I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter living in Yamanashi Prefecture. My name is Yuji. The area of Mt. Fuji is actually part of Yamanashi Prefecture. Tourists to Mt. Fuji area are not necessarily aware of that. Mt. Fuji as the highest mountain in Japan is on the border of Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures. In Yamanashi sit the 2nd highest mountain, Mt. Kitadake and the 3rd highest mountain of Mt. Ainodake. Yamanashi faces no sea and capital city of Kofu is in the basin area.
I grew up in Yamanashi until high school and then I studied and worked in Tokyo Metropolitan area. I came back to Yamanashi at the end of 2002. During my working days for companies including Harley-Davidson Japan, I had sharpened my English and communication skills. I had some opportunities to escort executives or employees of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and I have vaguely been thinking how rewarding it is to guide people. Now I have clear prospect about guiding.
After I came back to Yamanashi, I have also developed further enthusiasm about hiking in mountains and exploring the nature. If you are interested in any special type of hiking such as hiking to see snow capped Mt. Fuji, I will be the perfect fit to arrange. I have many hiking experiences including several times to Mt. Fuji, 2nd highest Kitadake and many more mountains in Yamanashi, Mt. Fuji Area.
Due to my strong interest about people from different background and different culture, I love to meet people. I am flexible and act ********** will be my basis about being in this field.
I look forward to meeting a lot of people through my guiding. I have developed my tour plans listed but I can make your dreams come true through any other planning as well. I can explore things with you, hike with you, and even climb Mt. Fuji with you.
Please contact me to find more and what I can offer.
I will respond quickly. I am learning Halal things now.
Thank you for your time.

Yuji was truly friendly, professional and informative about the places we wanted to visit. I am grateful that he gave us advice and tips based on my interest of places to go and my proposed itinerary. He catered to our means and even more. Yuji even continued to stay with us till we leave from the station safely. I think foreign visitors will appreciate this gesture. We, including my brother and mum, had a fun, wonderful and adventurous time with him. Bonus, as Yuki pointed out, we were blessed that we had clear views of Mt Fuji that day! Truly awesome. Would recommend Yuji to anyone. Thank you for checking out the halal place for a quick lunch & sharing your knowledge with us, Yuji! I hope to be back soon.
Yuji was very prompt in responding to our queries/tour requests, and his command of English is commendable. He also provided in-depth information on how to make our way to the meet up location, and even gave us alternative routes should we choose to utilise our Japan Rail Pass instead. I found it really sweet of him to already be waiting for us right where we alighted from the Expressway Bus, and didn't leave until we got onto the bus again to head back to Tokyo after the tour. He went the extra mile in helping us find a suitable restaurant that is in accordance with our dietary requirements. We really enjoyed our tour with Yuji, as he is very accommodating in customising our tour to our liking and preferences even though we booked him at the last minute. We would certainly recommend him to anyone, and wouldn't think twice about engaging him again when we come to Japan in the future. Thank you again, Yuji!
Our family had an amazing time exploring the Mt. Fuji area with Yuji. We had an authentic experience, visiting local places with amazing views of Mt. Fuji and great food along the way. It was so helpful to have Yuji with us, as he was able to let us know about local customs and help us translate throughout the day. We would highly recommend Yuji to others looking to explore the Mt. Fuji area.
Yuji provided a thorough and well planned Mt. Fuji tour which also included the Sea of Trees forest and cave sightseeing. The whole day encompassed everything I was looking for and Yuji was well prepared and efficient. Would highly recommend him to anyone!
