I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter living in Yamanashi Prefecture. My name is Yuji. The area of Mt. Fuji is actually part of Yamanashi Prefecture. Tourists to Mt. Fuji area are not necessarily aware of that. Mt. Fuji as the highest mountain in Japan is on the border of Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures. In Yamanashi sit the 2nd highest mountain, Mt. Kitadake and the 3rd highest mountain of Mt. Ainodake. Yamanashi faces no sea and capital city of Kofu is in the basin area.
I grew up in Yamanashi until high school and then I studied and worked in Tokyo Metropolitan area. I came back to Yamanashi at the end of 2002. During my working days for companies including Harley-Davidson Japan, I had sharpened my English and communication skills. I had some opportunities to escort executives or employees of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and I have vaguely been thinking how rewarding it is to guide people. Now I have clear prospect about guiding.
After I came back to Yamanashi, I have also developed further enthusiasm about hiking in mountains and exploring the nature. If you are interested in any special type of hiking such as hiking to see snow capped Mt. Fuji, I will be the perfect fit to arrange. I have many hiking experiences including several times to Mt. Fuji, 2nd highest Kitadake and many more mountains in Yamanashi, Mt. Fuji Area.
Due to my strong interest about people from different background and different culture, I love to meet people. I am flexible and act ********** will be my basis about being in this field.
I look forward to meeting a lot of people through my guiding. I have developed my tour plans listed but I can make your dreams come true through any other planning as well. I can explore things with you, hike with you, and even climb Mt. Fuji with you.
Please contact me to find more and what I can offer.
I will respond quickly. I am learning Halal things now.
Thank you for your time.

We had a wonderful day with Yuji. We started by going to see Mount Fuji. (we were extremely lucky - since it disappeared 30 minutes after we got to see it) and then we navigated across Hakone . We ended up our day in the Open Air Museum which was perfect. Yuji is very knowledgeable and was very attentive to us and our teenagers daughters. We had a good mixed of history and Japanese culture instruction. Definitely recommend him if you are in Hakone. We could not have covered so much in one day. Thanks a lot Yuji
Yuji was a wonderful guide from the beginning. He is great communicating through email and understanding what you would like to do and see. We had a wonderful time exploring the Fuji area with him. We even went to the sea of trees which I recommend and he took us to the most amazing lunch location for a local type of noodle dish. If you can book an excursion with Yuji I recommend you do.
Yuji is a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the geology of Mt Fuji and could explain how the local area formed. He worked with us around our schedule as we had our children with us. He took us to Churieta, Sea of Trees (aokigahara), saiko bat cave, wind cave, and showed us plenty of views of Fuji. He picked us up from the bus station and brought us back there, making sure we caught our bus back to Tokyo. The saiko bat cave is a “must see” and we’re so happy we had a guide to follow as we may have turned back if we were on our own. The low ceiling height would have intimidated us but we knew we were in good hands with Yuji. Highly recommend his tour.
I arrived very tired (since I couldn`t sleep the night before) to my hotel in Hakone where Mr. Yuji the wonderful guide met me right on time. Mr. Yuji is a wonderful guide, very attentive, considerate and so professional! He told me a lot of interesting things about the area, Japanese history, customs and so much more. I especially enjoyed his explanation about Sakura blossom and it`s analogy to life. I highly recommend Mr. Yuji as your guide to the area. The Hakone area is not so easy to get around by yourself, with all the buses, gondolas and trains, but with a guide like Mr. Yuji, you are in wonderful hands! Thank you Yuji for a wonderful time!
Yuji was wonderful form start to finish. He was quick to reply to our emails, provided us with great information and help regarding our tour. We was silly and got off the wrong bus station, caught a taxi to the correct station and was worried sick that Yuji wouldn't be there. He was a champ and was still waiting for us. He provided us exactly what we wanted in our tour, gave us plenty of time to enjoy the places take pictures and provided great information. Was a great day. Even at the very end he made sure we were on the correct bus and waved us goodbye. A lovely man highly recommend him
