I usually play tennis with my friends every weekend and am tough enough to take you around everywhere you would like to visit in Tokyo area. I've studied at the university and worked for the company located in Tokyo total over 40 years, and so I know main popular sightseeing spots and fantastic spots though not so popular.
Day and Night in Shinjuku, Meiji shrine and Takeshitadori in Harajuku, Crossroads in Shibuya, Imperial Palace in the center of Tokyo, High brand shopping street in Ginza, Several Museums and quiet Forest in Ueno and Oldfashioned Nakamise and Sensoji temple in Asakusa.
Of course, I can take you to 5th station of Mt. Fuji, Ropeway and Pirate Ship in Hakone, Shrines and Temples in Kamkura or Gorgeous Toshogu Temple in Nikko. Kunio was very kind, friendly, and helpful. He can speak English well. He made sure that the tour he planned for us is based on our interests. He was very patient that he even waited for us to finish shopping. We had trouble with our airbnb and he was very helpful about it. Kunio also gave us japanese snacks and taught us how to make paper cranes and flowers. All in all, he helped us have a great experience in Tokyo.
I love my 2 days tour with Kunio (Mt. Fuji and Tokyo). He took care of me and my mom coming from Haneda airport to our hotel and made sure we made it to our bullet train on our way to Kyoto the following day. He stayed in the station until the train started to move. This is walking the extra mile, above and beyond giving on his own time. Our tour is custom tailored to what we wanted-paced, very relaxed, informative, lot's of opportunities to take pictures and well matched for the day's forecast for maximum pleasant experience. I got what I paid for and more. Hi Kunio, your genuine hospitality and care is priceless. Like what I said, I am willing to return the favor because what you did to me and my mom during our visit is phenomenal and we appreciate it very much! More power to you. PS- thank you for helping us carry our suitcases.
Wow really enjoyed our two days with Kunio he was extremely formative and very friendly. We were made to feel very welcome. Kunios knowledge of Shinjuku, Shibua and Sky Tree area was amazing. All our queries or questions were answered in a professional manner- Kunio if you are ever in North Queensland Australia, we would love to return the favour in showing you our country. Best regards to you and your family Jo Melvin Townsville
Kunio was prompt, friendly and patient throughout our trip to Mt. Fuji and communicated timely with email. Before the trip he went over the agreed upon tour and then guided us through the various subways, trains, trolley and the pirate ship across Lake Ashi. Kunio also thoughtfully provided us some token greeting gifts. He also recommended to take the Romance Train back to central Tokyo at the end of the day, because it would be a relaxing way to end a long day of walking. At the end of the day we stopped by Shinjuku and he guided us to the 45th floor observation decks on the Tokyo Government Building where we could see the city from high above and then ended the day with some sushi.
Kunio was our tour guide for 2.5 days while we were in Tokyo. He is a very nice and caring tour guide. He is super responsible, to the point that he went to our Airbnb place a day before to make sure he knew where it was and took a picture of the entrance for us, in case we get lost. He was on time every day, and would adjust the tour to whatever we needed or wanted to see. He is definitely there to please and communicates well and timely through email. Navigating through Tokyo with him was extremely efficient, as he will take you through the fastest routes and maximize your time. You don't need to worry about the complicated train system or what to order to eat. I guess that the only opportunity is that while he knows a lot about Japan and its culture, he won't give you a in depth view of the sites the way a "specialized" tour guide would. You probably will have to ask for more details. I do think he is a good value for the money, and he was key in us adapting to the japan in the first 3 days of our trip.
