Hi, I am Hiromi, a National licensed guide in English. I studied in England and U.S. during my 20s and 30s. I graduated college in NY. While I lived in overseas and experiencing different culture, I had chances to look at Japanese culture from the outside. And I realized its richness and uniqueness. Experiencing different culture was like discovering my own culture.
I live west part of Tokyo with my husband. Whenever we have time we like traveling. Also I have been practicing tea gathering (tea ceremony) about 7 years.
In Tokyo, there exist traditional culture as well as pop culture. There are so many places I would like to show you.
It’s my pleasure to introduce you exquisite part of Tokyo. Let’ enjoy exploring TOKYO with me! I’m looking forward to sharing memorable experience with you.

Hiromi was well prepared for the tour. She took me to some interesting places and i was able to accomplish what i was looking for. I would just add a comment..compared with other similar tours i took, the tour would be much better if Hiromi would throw in more interesting facts about Japan in general as we walk from place to place and not just when we get to the place. She definitely answered all my questions but other tourguides i had were able to bring up very intetesting facts about Japan and tbe lications we were visiting that I would never ask about because i would not know to ask. That nade those tours so much more intetesting. But that is just FYI....
Dear Michal Thank you very much for writing the review. Customer's feed back is very important for me to make my tour better. I appreciate the review. I hope many nice photos you have taken in the tour leave you lots of good memory of Japan.
Hiromi was on time and polite and new the Japan rail system like the back of her hand! She was so kind and helpful and very well informed about the Japanese Tea Ceremony and the Gardens and was about to educate my mother and I. It was great spending the day with Hiromi and I highly recommend her to everybody!
Thank you very much for writing review. It was very nice meeting you and your mother. During the tea ceremony, I could see you and your mother are very interested in Japanese culture. It is my pleasure to know that I could introduce some part of our culture. Thank you for being my guest. Hopefully see you again some day :)
We met in the morning and went through all the agreed itinerary. The tour was good - not exiting.
Thank you very much for writing review. There may be lots of walking in the tour...? Any way it was very nice meeting you and your artistic family.
We met Hiromi in our hotel on our first day in Japan (having come in the night before.) We were able to visit some slightly out-of-the-way places (on our request) including Todoroki Valley, the Kuhonbutsu Joshinji Temple, a local, non-touristy market called Musashikoyama (the longest downtown style shopping arcade in Tokyo) and at the end of our tour, she led us to the Tsukiji fish market (the outer market which is filled with interesting shops.) Importantly, she provided us with our introduction to using the Japanese rail system (which is awesome) and was very attentive to our interests throughout the tour. She is a very lovely person and speaks English well.
Thank you very much for writing nice review. Your request for the tour was non-touristy places. It was interesting and challenging tour for me as well. At this time of the year, most of the sight seeing places are very crowded with many people. But this tour was very relaxing surrounded by you and your friends who are very cheerful. Thank you very much for giving opportunity to conduct the tour :)
A full day in Tokyo can be exhausting - we knew that and it actually proved to be a bit more than we had thought. Hiromi, however, was very well organized and included all our wishes as best she could, even though it meant rushing through the streets of Tokyo to get everywhere in time. We started off at our hotel and headed to Akihabara to visit a cat cafe that we had asked her to take us to - it was an absolutely lovely experience that all three of us enjoyed a lot! Then we were off to Ueno park, a bit rushed, then to Asakusa, again in a bit of a rush through massive crowds. The last bit was actually the best - a river cruise to Odaiba, a little over an hour of relaxation aboard a very modern boat - the Hotaluna - with a terrace to enjoy stunning views of Tokyo and take fantastic picture... read more
Thank you very much for writing review. I'm very happy to know you enjoyed the tour. That is most important things and I care about. As you say, it is difficult to find a relaxing place in the middle of Tokyo, especially cherry blossom season. But at least I'm glad to hear you spent some relaxing time at Odaiba. See you again someday!
