Hello! I'm Kyoko. I am a National licensed tour guide and a licensed teacher for junior and high schools. I also have a licensed manager of itinerary.
I was born in Kyoto, that's why my name is Kyoto's child (Kyo Ko). And I had chances to live in Kyoto, Nara,Tokyo, and Lima,Peru. Now I live with my husband in Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture which is next to Tokyo. Kanagawa prefecture is as nice as Tokyo, with Kawasaki city, Yokohama city, Kamakura city and so on.
My hobby is wearing kimono, enjoying tea ceremony, exercising through yoga and aerobics. Kimono is a Japanese beautiful national costume, and you can try it on only in Japan. So, if you'd like to try it on , maybe I can help you. Let me know your request.
As I had lived in Peru, I can speak easy Spanish, but still not enough. So if you are Spanish natives, let me teach your language! I want to study Spanish more. " Por favor!"
Japan has a long history in which many good things and sad things happened. I want to walk in our country with you while helping you understand our country and us. Let's enjoy together!!

Kyoko took my family of 8 for a day in hakone and it was worth every yen/penny. She took the stress of public transportation away from us for the day and accommodated my family of 2 sets of elderly parents with one using cane/wheelchair and 2 toddlers. Personable and just lovely of a person. Would love to have Kyoko take us out on more adventures the next time we come back. Thank you so much Kyoko!!!
Thank you very much for writing such a quick and wonderful review, Khoalinh. I hope this didn't make you tired so much. It was also great pleasure for me to be with your family who warmly welcomed me just like your family member. I was also very impressed you and your husband's kindness and guts. Both of you greatly worked so hard for pushing 2 baby cars and 1 wheelchair. Of course, I know there were a lot of help from your parents but you sitll had your future child. You and your husband are so affectionate parents that your children will be adults just like you. I hope I can meet bigger version of such wonderful children in the near future. I wish all of you your safe and joyful journey ! Please have fun!!
Kyoko was an absolute delight. She was knowledgeable and very kind. We appreciated her patience as we had an infant with us. It was a very hot day in Tokyo when we visited and Kyoko showed us all the sites we requested using the most convient and efficient modes of transportation available. I especially appreciated her limiting the amount of walking we would have otherwise had to do. When we visit Japan again, I will ask for Kyoko again as a tour guide.
Thank you very much for writing me a wonderful review despite your very busy days, Sondra! I was very happy to have been able to meet you at Tokyo Station because it is the Tokyo's biggest station and to find you seemed miracle for me in such crowded people of Bon vacation! But you and your son is very kind and his wife is also very smart. Your granddaughter is the youngest in my record of three months! Despite the hot weather of sweltering Japan's August , she traveled very smoothly. How strong she is! I hope you will come back to Japan with your husband again in the near future.
Kyoko was very kind and patient with my group of 6. She taught us many things about Tokyo including how to navigate the subway. We definitely recommend her to anyone visiting Japan for the first time.
Thank you very much for writing me a excellent review, Heidi! I was very happy to be with your family whole one day in Tokyo. I was very impressed by your first son who serves in Okinawa for our peace and stability. How much proud people are of your son! I was also impressed by your second son who are very pure and let me know many things about him. It was pleasant time for me to talk with him while imagining how much he will grow up if I could meet him next time. Tell thank you from me to your kind husband, cute niece, and her cheerful mother. I hope you will come back to Japan in 2020 and enjoy Tokyo Olympics with your sons!
We had a wonderful day visiting those places we had requested prior to our trip and also a number of iconic attractions suggested by Kyoko.
Thank you very much for writing a review so quickly, Sandy! I am very happy to know you got satisfied with the day in Tokyo. Unfortunately, the day didn't have Imperial Palace Eastern Garden or Sumo Practice, but you gave me a lot of inspiration which cultivated my tour range. So, it was also an impressive day for me. I hope you will continue a comfortable journey. And please come back here for Sumo in January , May or September ! Looking forward to meeting you again then!!
My wife and I read many of the prior reviews (spoiler: they are all good and they are all accurate) before booking Kyoko so we were expecting a nice, qualified person to show us around for our first day, and first time, in Tokyo. But this woman is truly one of the sweetest people we've met and my family just fell in love with her. We did ourselves an injustice booking only one day with her, but we were only in Japan for a short time before heading to our main destination, Taiwan. Even so, our second day was peppered with suggestions from Kyoko. My son and I went to one particular Samurai experience on her suggestion. I was a little concerned it might turn out to be a silly tourist thing.....it wasn't and there is no room here to detail what a gem of an experience this was. The poi... read more
Thank you very much for giving me such a great review, Edward! I am very happy to have met you and your beautiful family. It was a typical day in Japan's rainy season but you could see a lot of flowers like irisis or hydrangeas. I am especially happy that you believed me and tried the experience with your son. I knew you are the people who can understand such a heartfelt experience because I realized how bright your face shined when you heard the voices of the kendo practice in Imperial Palace. I am also happy to know your daughter wants to try on kimono. I am sure it will suit not only her but also her mother, too. So, next time! I am looking forward to meeting all of you again in the near future! !
