Hiroshi-san showed us around Tokyo during a full day tour. He came to pick us up at our hostel, early, and we saw Tsukiji Hongan-ji temple, Tsukiji market, had lunch at a very nice sushi restaurant, visited the Hokusai art museum, the Fukagawa Edo museum, and the Sumo museum near the stadium complete with a visit to the Sumo clothing store. So you can see that you should prepare for a full day of walking and learning! Hiroshi-san is very knowledgeable about all the history of the places we visited and can answer almost all of your questions. He adapted the tour to our specific interests when we exchanged emails prior to the trip and even prepared tour materials in English to give to us about other places we were planning on visiting on other days in Japan. He put in alot of effort to make sure he is very knowledgeable on the sights of Japan. I would recommend taking his tour, especially early in your trip so he can help you get your bearings in the country. We enjoyed our day with Hiroshi-san.
Hisoshi, you are a wonderful guide, thank you for your knowledge and guidance, your expertise was above and beyond. Absolutily enjoyed our time with you. If you and your family ever wish to come to Cairns North Queensland Australia we would be only to happy to show you the sights. Hope to catch up with you again one day. Take Care Mark and Jo Melvin
Hiro met us as planned, communicated well and explained many things we saw and about life in Japan. We went to the Meiji Shrine, many interesting buildings in Tokyo and a large Temple with a long street of shopping we had a nice tempura lunch at a restaurant frequented by locals. Last he took us to Chinatown back in Yokohama where our ship was docked. Was a nice day and I recommend Hiro for a guide if you are visiting Yokohama or Tokyo
