Takashi was a very good & thoughtful guide. He provided a brochure that was waiting for us at our hotel when we checked in confirming all details. Our tour was amazing, wonderful scenery on bus to Shirakawa-go an amazing world heritage site. Then back to Kanazawa, visited Gardens, Castle & original Samuri area. So much culture & history. Takashi provided much information. Based on our experience we would thoroughly recommend Takashi's services & tour.
Dear Peter, Thank you very much for 5-star rating and wonderful comment to my guide service. It was a nice day. A cloudy and moderate temperature. I am grateful to know that you enjoyed Shirakawago-Kanazawa tour. Best regards, Takashi
On time, helpfull
Dear Mrs. Thank you for a high evaluation to my guide service. We started the tour behind schedule because of your unsuccessful booking of train seats. So, I had to cancell seats of a highway bus originally booked. Seats of all highway bus after original one were all booked by other passengers. So, we took alternative route from Shin-Takaoka to Shirakawago and Takayama. We were lucky that we were able to vist both Shirakawago and Takayama as we planned. It was cold, cloudy and sometimes snowy day. Thank you again. Kind regards, Takashi
We had a very pleasant at day with Takashi San in Shirakawago and Kanazawa. Takashi San is very knowledgeable about the areas and we were able to see a lot that day. There were so much to see and do and since we took a long time at the gold leaf embellishment experience, we ended up running out of time and not able to see the Kanazawa castle. I think squeezing both Shirakawago and Kanazawa into one day is okay if you don’t go for the gold leaf embellishment experience, otherwise splitting them into two days would be more doable and relaxing. Overall it was a very nice day and thank you again to Takashi San for his time and patience.
Dear Rebecca, Thank you very much for high evaluation on my guide service. We visited Shirakawago in the morning, and Kanazawa in the afternoon. It was a snowy day. We were lucky that there were no traffic delay. I am sorry that we didn't have enough time for Kanazawa tour. Thank you very much for your precious advice on the tour itinerary. Best rgards, Takashi
Full of grace and charm with a thorough knowledge of his city we had a very good tour and he kept us excited about all we saw Thank you
Dear Elaine, Thank you very much for 5-star rating to my guide service. We met at Tsuzumi-Mon Gate of Kanazawa station at 10:00AM. It was drizzling in the beginning, but later it became cloudy. We walked a lot to visit many sightseeing spots. We encountered many overseas tourists at Sakuda Gold Leaf Workshop. I am really happy to know that you and your husband enjoyed Kanazawa tour.Best regards, Takashi
I spent two days with Takeshi. One day in Kanazawa and one day in takayama. He is a fine man and extremely knowledgeable.
Dear Ken, Thank you very much for 5-star rating to my tour guide services. it was a hot and a fine day in Takayama on October 9th. We enjoyed puppet performance at Hatshiman shrine. It was Takayama autimn festival. We visited Kenrokuen garden and many other places in Kanazawa on Oct 11th. I am very much impressed with your friendly attitude not only toward me but also toward people we encountered during the tours..Best regards, Takshi
Takashi gave us a very good full day tour of Shirakawago. He met us at our hotel at 7:30 am and we used the public bus to get to the Kanazawa bus stztion where we took a other public bus to Shirakawago. Spent the full day walking this working village and visited all the sites. He provided insights and history at each site. Takashi recommended a good spot for a tasty and relaxing lunch. Returned to Kanazawa at 5:10 pm. While not obligated to do so, he accompanied us on the public bus back to our hotel. Using public buses was very economical. We had a memorable day with Takashi in Shirakawago and highly recommend him as a guide.
Dear Joyce, Thank you very much for 5-star rating for my guide service in Shirakawago. I am really happy to know that you and your husband, Linda and her husband enjoyed the tour with me. We took a shelter under roofs intermittently while it was heavy rains. We walked a lot while it was no rain, and visit places of interest. Thank you very much for your kind cooperation. Best regards, Takashi
Takashi met us at our cruise port & we took the ship provided bus in to town. We were open to any sites he wanted to show us. We could not have asked for a better tour guide. He was excited to share his home town with us and pleased to answer any questions we had. Takashi has to be in his 70’s but he walks a pace like he is in his 20’s. So be ready for some exercise (lol). I highly recommend Takashi as your guide. You will not be disappointed!
Dear Dollie, Thank you very much for 5-star rating by you to my tour guide service. I really appreciate your excellent praise to me. I am strongly encouraged by your wonderful comment. Incredible Takashi. Our day trip to snow corridor with him was just satisfying, though it was hectic he made our tour well fit in time. Could not think of anyone better doing this trip as Takashi. Would suggest him 100 percent to guide him to snow corridor without a doubt.
Dear Minal, Thank you for your wonderful comment on my tour guide service to Tateyama Kurobe Alpine route. Our tour date, April 16th was the first day when this apline route started operation for this year. So, ther were many visitors. But, we were very much lucky to be able to carry on the tour as scheduled. Thank you, Takashi
We hired mr. Takashi for 4 hours to show us the highlight of Kanazawa. His English is good and he has a lot of knowledge. I can recommend him. Thanks for your guidance.
Dear Joop, Thank you very much for your nice comments on my tour guide service. It was a fine day with mild temperature in March. I am sure you enjoyed the tour. Best regards, Takashi

Takashi san did a wonderful job showing an elementary school group from Australia around Kanazawa for the day. This was a group of 33 people using public transport and he was very calm and informative catering the tour to the age of the children. We would definitely recommend Takashi san for future tours.
Dear Kellie, Thank you very much for 5-star mark to my guide service. Kanazawa is a very beautiful city. I am proud of living in this city. I'm sure your young students had a lot of good memory of Kanazawa. I hope they will revisit this city in their life to enjoy and revive their good memory in Kanazawa. Best regards, Takashi
Takeshi San was our tour guide last 2 days in Kanazawa. We hit most of the sights in Kanazawa and half day tour of Shirakawa-Ko. He communicated with me very well through email to set up the tour, and he was very punctual, and managed our time very well at all the sights in Kanazawa. His knowledge of history was impeccable. We couldn't have asked for a better guide, and we loved Kanazawa!
Dear Alexis, Thank you very much for your evaluation of 5-star rating on my tour guide services. I am very much proud of living in Kanazawa, and I appreciate that you love Kanazawa. I also appreciate that I had enjoyable tours on old castle town Kanazawa and UNSCO World Heritage site Shirakawago with your wonderful family. Kind regards, Takashi
Dear Takeshi. My wife and I can not thank you enough for the memorable two days together. You attended to every detail and had so much knowledge and did not miss showing us a thing. You were well prepared and truly wonderful. Thank you again. We would highly recommend you.
Dear Bernard, Thank you very much for your kind email. We had two days touring for Kanazawa and Shirakawago. I am real happy to know that you and your wife enjoyed tours with me. Both days were hot days, but we got cool ourself for a short while at Ishikawa prefectural museum of traditinal arts and crafts, 21st century art museum and Tokyu hands basement while we were touring. Thank you very much again for 5-star rating to my guide service. Best regards, Takashi
Very extremely knowledgeable and patient tour guide. Packed the two half day tours as much as he could while accommodating our little 5 year old. Omicho market and Kenroku-en Garden were very interesting at Kanazawa. Shirakawa-go was beautiful in winter - the gassho style farmhouses showed why the architecture was such in heavy snow.
Takeshi is very friendly ,well prepared and very informative. The one day tour in Kanazawa coverd the most of sightseeings without rushing around in a beautiful day. Learning the making of the "gold leaf" , touring Higashi Chaya district, castle, garden and contemporary museum are all memorable, even the lunch at omi-cho market is very enjoyable. The sightseeings in Kanazawa are easyly accessible by the loop bus.
Dear William, Thank you very much for your wonderful comment to my guide service. I am really happy to know that all the places we visited remain as very fond memories of Kanazawa in you. Kanazawa is known as gastronomic city, too. I remember we had a lunch at nice shushi restaurant at Omicho market. Thank you very much again. Kind regards, Takashi
Throughout my travels in Japan I had 3 different guides and Takashi was by far the best! He knew everything about the subject matter as well as had answers for our many questions about geography, demographics, culture etc. Next I am back I will definitely look Takashi up for another great time.
Dear Matthew, Thank you very much for your wonderful comment on my guide service. Your comment encourages me greatly to continue my guide service in 2017. We visited Kenrokuen Garden, one of the three most famous gardens in Japan, Kanazawa castle and so on in the morning. We visited Shirakawago ( World Heritage site ) in the afternoon. We went up the observation point, Kanda-ke Gassho farmhouse and strolled the village. I am really happy to know that you enjoyed the tour with me. Kind regards, Takashi
