I was born and brought up in Kanazawa, and live in Kanazawa. So,I know every corner of this town. I am a national licensed tour guide. I started operating tour guide business in 2004 after retired from the local government office. I enjoyed hobbies when I found my spare time. In my twenties and thirties, I walked along many peaks of Northern Japan Alps during the summer mountain season. I travelled many places domestic and abroad. I also enjoyed skiing while I was in my forties and fifties. I have offered tour guides to over 1,000 tourists since I started tour guiding. I explain local history and culture, religion, traditional arts and crafts, and food, etc. I try my best to have customers' satisfaction, and make your tours enjoyable and memorable.Hokuriku Shinkansen bullet trains started operating between Tokyo and Kanazawa on March 14, 2015. It takes about 2 and half hours. You will be able to make one-day tour to Kanazawa from Tokyo. I look forward to having your application.read more

Takashi is an excellent guide. He is knowledgable and it was a pleasure spending time with Takashi.
Takashi san did a wonderful job showing an elementary school group from Australia around Kanazawa for the day. This was a group of 33 people using public transport and he was very calm and informative catering the tour to the age of the children. We would definitely recommend Takashi san for future tours.
Takeshi San was our tour guide last 2 days in Kanazawa. We hit most of the sights in Kanazawa and half day tour of Shirakawa-Ko. He communicated with me very well through email to set up the tour, and he was very punctual, and managed our time very well at all the sights in Kanazawa. His knowledge of history was impeccable. We couldn't have asked for a better guide, and we loved Kanazawa!
Dear Takeshi. My wife and I can not thank you enough for the memorable two days together. You attended to every detail and had so much knowledge and did not miss showing us a thing. You were well prepared and truly wonderful. Thank you again. We would highly recommend you.
Very extremely knowledgeable and patient tour guide. Packed the two half day tours as much as he could while accommodating our little 5 year old. Omicho market and Kenroku-en Garden were very interesting at Kanazawa. Shirakawa-go was beautiful in winter - the gassho style farmhouses showed why the architecture was such in heavy snow.
