Yuki is knowledgeable and informative. Given a rainy day, he was very flexible in changing our plans and making alternate arrangements to meet our needs. He gave us a great day in Hakone, even if we couldn't see Mt. Fuji... including arranging for a private onsen. He even went out of his way to accompany us to a hard-to-find restaurant.
Dear Pat, Thank you for writing the nice review of yesterday’s tour. Unfortunately, it rained but we took advantage of it, I am glad you like museums in Hakone. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki was an exceptional guide - We would definitely recommend him to anyone as he is very punctual and organized. He had previously requested for places for us to visit & organized the tour as requested. We had 2 great days with him. He made great suggestions and the tour was better than we expected. He is also very informative & friendly - The tour was well paced and well planned. He was flexible enough to accommodate our last minute changes (starting the tour later than usual etc). Yuki also took us to some great places to eat (Ramen & Tempura) which provided memorable experiences in places we simply would not have gone on our own. Thank Yuki!
Dear Hanisha, Thank you for your review of my tours. Lunch is an important part of my tour. I am very grad you like the Ramen and Tempura restaurants. Best regards, Yuki
Wen we were hit by a heavy rain, Yuki readjusted our schedule so that we were out of the weather while travelling to our next destination, then picked up our original route once the rain stopped. It was important that I be at a private residence by a specific time, and he made that happen right on schedule. Unlike some guides I've had, he did not feel the need to chat incessantly. I liked that. I will use him again on my next trip.
Dear William, Thank you for writing a review of my tour. I was my pleasure to guide you my favorite places. We were lucky to continue our tour in the Imperial Palace after spending some time at Asakusa to escape from the local heavy rain. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki has mastered the art of making a first time tourist feel Welcomed and Comfortable in many parts of Japan. We went to the Tsukiji fish market which could have been a crowded maze without the knowledge and skill of Yuki. He taught us about the fish, the skill of the butchers and then we went to a local restaurant where we felt like family and ate the best sushi we ever had. The second tour was a 12 hour tour ,Tokyo to Kyoto. WOW We traveled the Shinkansen (bullet train) ,went to the 1001 Buddhas temple (Sanjusangendo) and to the Fushimi Inari Shrine. He explained the hand washing ritual and guided us thru the proper protocol, Yuri even took the time on the way home to provide a history lesson to my son and I regarding both Religion and history of the Japanese culture. He is both compet... read more
Dear Mary, Thank you very much for the detailed review of my tours. Food is an important part of my tour so I was very happy when you ate the seafood curry in Kyoto. It was very good for you to take my tours in two days so that we could switch the date for Kyoto to avoid Typhoon 21. Best regards, Yuki
Yukon was very professional accomdating to our wishes and very knowledgeable. You will enjoy his comprehensive approach and understanding of Japon History an Religion.
Dear James, Thank you for writing a good review of my tour so soon. I am grateful for your generous tip of 100 USD. It was a good exercise for me to accommodate the last minute changes of plan and answer to many requests. Please enjoy other tours in Japan with your friends. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki was an excellent guide that I would definitely recommend to anyone! His tour of Kamakura allowed us to see so many great places in one day like the Great Buddha, Hasedera Temple, Hokokuji Temple and Hachimangu Shrine. We never felt rushed, always having plenty of time to really take in each location. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, providing great information about the history of all the places we went. He was great at answering any questions we had and even went out of his way to help us figure out which trains to take for when we would be traveling on our own later that week. I also appreciated how accommodating he was, being flexible when we needed to change the start time of our tour. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Kamakura and loved having Yuki as our guide!
Dear Sunita, Thank you for your compliment of my tour. I am very happy that you appreciated my explanations to be more interested in Temples and the Shrine. Kamakura is my most favorite place. Best regards, Yuki
Very punctual and organized. Organized the tour as requested. We had a great day with him. He made great suggestions and the tour was better than we expected.
Dear Viviane, Thank you for your review. I am glad to know that you have enjoyed my tour. Best regards, Yuki
Very helpful and knowledgeable person. Guide us through few places. Very happy with our choice with tour guide
Dear Joseph, Thank you for writing a review of my tour.
I would recommend Yuki-san to anyone. He was great even though we were late. With a few hours, we covered Senso-Ji Temple in Asakusa and Edo Castle with a Japanese Garden. He was very flexible to adjust to our schedule. We skipped lunch until 3pm. Ending tour with 15 minutes lunch. He kept track of the time and our train back to the airport. I think he will be a great person to show you around Tokyo.
Dear Hai, Thank you for writing the review of the tour, so soon. I am glad to know you were on time for your flight and safely returned to your country. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki is professional, experienced and knowledgeable about the history and culture of Japan especially Tokyo and it's surrounding area. He was early meeting us at our hotel each day (a blessing to be met at the hotel) and helped us navigate the detailed transportation system of Japan, even helping us validate our Jr train passes, showing us how to reserve trains, store luggage, plan and use the various passes and tickets on our own. We felt his personal attention even in the most crowed temples and shrines so we never felt overwhelmed. It was very hot when we visited and he knew just when to have us duck into air-conditioned museums between outdoor activities to get a cool, educational break. His English is good. He even helped us shop for some specific items we wanted along the way, ... read more
Dear Carlos, Thank you for writing such an elaborate review of my tours. I respect your personality and I was my honor to guide you my favorite places. Please give my best regards to your wife, too. Yuki

Dear Kevin, Thank you for writing a review of my tour. I am glad to know you have enjoyed my tour. Please give my best regards to your family and uncle. Yuki
Yuki took my family all around Tokyo and provided a very enjoyable tour. We started at the fish market and had a delicious lunch at one of his favorite sushi restaurants. Then we visited Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya and Akihabara, including visits to an owl cafe and a maid cafe. When my daughter wanted to spend more time browsing / shopping in Harajuku and Shibuya, Yuki was completely flexible and made changes to our schedule appropriately. It was a perfect way to spend the day and become more familiar with Tokyo. Thank you.
Very knowlegable and his discussion of the history and meaning behind the places we visited were greatly apreciated
Dear Irving, Thank you for your review of my Tokyo tour. I am very happy to know you enjoyed my tour. Please enjoy your stay in Japan. Yuki
We had a great time with Yuki-san in Hakone. He was very knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs, even helping to draw the shades when the sun’s rays were shining into the train carriage. The tour was well paced and well planned, with adequate breaks. The route was carefully selected to reduce unnecessary delays. When we had more time than expected, he offered us suggestions to make the most of our day, like nearby sights which we could visit while waiting for the next scheduled item. Yuki-san knows the perfect spot to capture the best view. To top it all off, he speaks great English and is a very engaging conversationalist. Thank you, Yuki-san!
Dear Teresa, Thank you for the compliment with a nice description of my Hakone tour. I enjoyed to guide your family with lots of talks. Sorry about missing Mt. Fuji but it is rather difficult to see the mountain in summer. But I was very happy when you enjoyed the places I took such as the old Tokaido and Gora park. Please give my best regards to your two sons, too. Yuki
He was very good and made the best of the situation. The weather was not suitable for a Mt. fuji itinerary but we had Lake Ashi cruise and the ropeway that ran close to the Volcano. And we went to a beautiful garden. It rained a little bit that day.
Dear Agnes, Thank you for writing the review of my tour to Hakone. It was unfortunate that Mt. Fuji was covered by clouds which happens sometime in summer. Please come again in Autumn or Winter when you can see a very clear view of the mountain. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki was a great tour guide and was very attentive to my 7 year old son. He had a tour setup for us but he was flexible enough to accommodate our last minute changes. We enjoyed our tour and it was very memorable.
Dear Vivian, Thank you for writing the review of my tour to Lake Kawaguchi. Everything went well, including seeing Mt. Fuji. The caves are very cool and beautiful ices kept there. Lake Kawaguchi was full of tour buses to occupy restaurants near by. It was disappointing to find my favorite restaurant being sold out its Hoto noodle but I took you my back up place where we ate a new Hoto. Please give my best regards to your family and friend Ruiko. Yuki
We enjoyed Yuki as our guide. He is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Our tour was excellent.
Dear Shirley, Thank you for writing the review of my Yokohama tour. Sankeien Garden is the most favorite place of mine in Yokohama. Please give my best regards to other members, too. Looking forward to seeing you, soon. Yuki
My brother and I chose to travel to Tokyo even though we knew very little about the Japanese culture and city. Yuki was extremely helpful and kind. He met us at the train station and escorted us to our hotel and then we began our tour. We had selected 3 locations to tour which included a garden, the government building with an incredible view of Tokyo and the Imperial Palace. Yuki explained many details about all 3 locations. He suggested a Ramen lunch and we went to a place where the locals eat which was quite interesting. I asked Yuki to help me figure out how to get to our tour departure location (cab or subway) the next day and he was extremely helpful. I highly recommend hiring an English speaking tour guide when you arrive in Tokyo if you are unfamiliar with the city because it... read more
Dear Lisa, Thank you for your review. Sorry about my poor explanations due to my sore throat. I am getting better now. Best regards, Yuki
We had a wonderful time touring Tokyo with Yuki. He was thorough, knowledgeable and patient. He knew his way around Tokyo and was able to take us around everywhere. We loved learning about the shinto and Buddhist religions and how they coexist so beautifully. Would definitely recommend touring with him!
Thank you for your compliments. I am very glad to know you enjoyed my tour. Thank you for accompany me to the TopDeck Tour of Tokyo Tower. Please give my best regards to your partner, too. Yuki
We had a great time with Yuki san. He knows very well the schedule of the trains, the buses and the boat. I highly recommend Yuki san.
Dear Marco, Thank you for your review. I thought it would be difficult to see Mt. Fuji due to the cloudy weather. You blew off the clouds only when we were at Owakudani to see the mountain. I tried to make the tour easier and enjoyable for your children, too. Best regards, Yuki
We met Yuki for a day around Tokyo and then again for the sights of Yokohama. Yuki was great and managed to work an itinerary to see everything we wanted and coordinate the day so it flowed effortlessly. We particularly appreciated the instructions on how to use the Metro and JR lines and found this invaluable when doing our own thin on other days. Yuki also took us to some great places to eat which provided memorable experiences in places we simply would not have gone on our own. With Yuki it was also really easy to change plans or spend a little more time in places without any fuss which made the days stress free. We'd love to come back to Tokyo and spend some more time exploring with Yuki and would recommend to anyone looking for an informative and well educated guide.
Dear Lain, Thank you for your complement and elaborate description of my tour. You have such a nice wife and daughters, please give them my best regards. Yuki
I just went on internet to look for a tour person in Japan for my children. TripleLights Service popped up. I went though the web site and booked a tour person for my children visiting in Japan. After my children came home from the trip. I asked them: "How is Yuki?" They answered: "Mom, give him 10+. Yuki is supper good."
Dear Len, Thank you for your review. It was in the rainy season and your children were lucky to see Mt. Fuji in a cloudy day. We switched the date of Hakone with the other tour to Kamakura. But we couldn't see Mt. Fuji at first and the bus to Owakudani was crowded. So we went to the glass museum. After the museum I found that the mountain was going to appear by the live camera in the web. So we went back to Owakudani by the other rope way to see Mt. Fuji. Please give my best regard to your children. Yuki
I would highly recommend Mr Yuki. Our excursion to Kamakura was made so much easier through his guidance and patient demeanor. He was full of knowledge and it was a pleasant experience for us. He planned out the itinerary and it was the perfect balance of sightseeing and shopping. Thank you Mr Yuki!
Dear Katie, Thank you for your complement. Kamakura is my most favorite place. Now is the season for hydrangeas flowers. I am glad your family enjoyed the tour as well as the lunch. Please give my best regards to your daughters, too. Yuki
Good trip with a knowledgeable guide. Thanks!
Dear Meher, Thank you for your review. Kyoto was not so crowded after the strong earthquake. It was a long day for me but everything went well. Please enjoy your stay in Japan with your daughters. Yuki
I came to Japan as a solo female traveler and figured it would be a good investment to tour the Tokyo area with a local, and I do not regret doing it with Yuki one bit. I spent about half a day with him and we went to the Tsukiji Fish Market, Akihabara, Meji Shrine, Asakusa and the Senso-Ji Temple. He was extremely accommodating (met me at my hotel and traveled with me back) and knowledgeable on the history and facts of each place we visited. The best part about being with Yuki was that he took me to a great local sushi restaurant and he also brought me around to the the best street food places I have ever had! I would highly recommend doing a tour with him as I had a wonderful time.
Dear Sharis, Thank you for your complements. I enjoyed the tour with you since you are such a nice lady. Sorry about Tsukiji as they becomes more and more strict for foreign travelers. I was very glad that we could find a nice quiet restaurant with tasty Sushi menue. Best regards, Yuki
This was our first time using a private tour guide and we're very happy to say all well great on our visit to Kamakura. Yuki was prompt at arriving at our hotel, taking us to the subway and around the various areas in Kamakura. The pace was great and to our liking. We even discovered that Yuki had previously lived in Chicago (where we're from) in the past. I would recommend Yuki to all.
Dear Jimmy, Thank you for writing the review of my tour. Kamakura is my most favorite place. I am very glad to know you and your family enjoyed it. Thank you for taking my tour. Yuki
Yuki did a great job with our family -- two parents and 4 kids ages 16 through 6. Yuki picked us up at our hotel in Tokyo, helped us navigate the Shinkansen and bus to Hakone, and guided us around the sites of Hakone, and then got us to our ryokan where we were staying that night. He called the ryokan when we first arrived and arranged to have them pick up our bags, and again at the end of the day of siteseeing to pick us up. Everything worked perfectly. Yuki is a calm and expert guide, and was patient with us and all the kids explaining the highlights and allowing us to dictate the pace of the day. He took us on the typical circle route around the Hakone area but in a reverse order to minimize crowds and match our schedule better. It was a great day. Thank you!
Dear Brian, Thank you for writing such an elaborate and specific review of my tour. It was unfortunate that there was some cloud around Mt.Fuji but everything else went well. I hope you and your family could see Mt. Fuji while in Japan. Please give my best regards to your family, too. Yuki
Me and my friend booked Yuki for a day where I asked him to choose the places to go, it was pouring down rain which he took into consideration and was super flexible and helpful with anything we needed. He speaks excellent english and gave us small presentations on an ipad when visiting sites. For a true authentic experience make sure to book our friend Yuki :)
Dear Josefine, Thank you for writing the review. It was unfortunate that it rained in the afternoon. But I am glad to know you enjoyed my tour. Thank you for being accompany to the owl cafe. Please give my best regards to your friend. Best regards, Yuki
On both our days with Yuki in Tokyo and Hakone he answered all our questions and requests, spent so much time how we needed. Without his help we definitely couldn't see all the fantastic places in your beautiful country. Thank you and Yuki very much.
Dear Marina, Thank you very much for your review. It was the beginning of the rainy season. So I choose the better day to visit Hakone, I was very glad that you could see Mt. Fuji during the rainy season. Best regards, Yuki
We spent 2 days with Yuki in Tokyo. Prior to our time together, he had great suggestions for sights to see and was very quick to reply. In Tokyo, he was very organized, informative and flexible with the needs of the 3 of us who are 15, 42 and 77. It is difficult to meet the needs of a wide range of ages, but he was abile to do so easily. We highly recommend Yuki. You will be thankful you booked him.
Dear Marlow, Thank you for writing the review so soon. I will send you the photos I took today later. Your travel has just started, please enjoy the rest of it. Please give my best regards to your mother and Era. It was my great pleasure to guide your family. Yuki
Yuki was an amazing guide. We saw so much in one day. He planned everything perfectly, and even contacted us because of weather changes to see if we could go a day earlier because the forecast called for rain. He took us to the most amazing viewpoints to see Mt. Fuji. kept us on schedule and made sure we saw all of the sights in one day. We loved it all, and he made it a fantastic stress-free adventure.
Dear Rebecca, Thank you for your great compliments. I appreciate your description of my tour. It was a wonderful tour and I feel very happy if your family enjoy the views of Hakone. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki is a knowledgeable guide who gave me a great tour of Tokyo.
Dear Authur, Thank you for writing the review of my tour. It was a nice time for me, too. Best regards, Yuki
He allowed me to travel at my leisure while he navigated me through the public transportation. I saw more than what I anticipated and have many new memories. The knowledge he shared with me allowed me to navigate through the metro line, instead of using taxis, on my last day in japan by myself, which saved me money. Nothing but positive remarks.
Dear Wayne, Thank you for your great review. I spent three days with you which was very enjoyable for me too. I hope you liked many aspects of Japan including good foods. Best regards, Yuki
I'd definitely recommend this trip with Yuki. He was incredibly well planned, and offered a unique experience in Tokyo.
Dear Daniel, Thank you for writing the review of my tour in Tokyo. The tour was getting better when the weather became fine. I am very happy to know that you and your father enjoyed it. Good luck for the coming Tokyo Olympic. Yuki
Yuki took us from Tokyo to Hakone to see Mt. Fuji. We had a wonderful day with him as our guide to Hakone. He adjusted our schedule since it was busy Golden Week but made sure that we got to ride the bullet train Thank you for your patience and all the information you provided about Japan and Mt Fuji. You were a great guide for our group.
Dear Debra, Thank you for writing a review of my tour. I feel happy to know you enjoyed my tour in Hakone. It was a comfortable tour even in the middle of Golden week and you are very luky to see Mt. Fuji from the Lake. We managed to experience the tea ceremony at Gora park as well as the bullet train on our way to return to Tokyo. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki is an excellent guide and l very detailed with history/background of each places we visited. Good recommendation of ramen and sushi - best we had, not tourist too. Highly recommended Yuki to anyone for his guide service and his passion as a guide- flexible, knowledgeable & reliable person.
Dear Alicia, Thank you for writing such a nice review of my tour. I am very happy to know that you have enjoyed my tour. Please give my best regards to your parents. Yuki

Dear Earl, Thank you for your complements. It was an enjoyable tour for me, too. The lunch was very nice. Please give my best regards to your family, too. Yuki
Our family of three, including our adult son who was able to join us, thoroughly enjoyed the historical, cultural and horticultural insights provided by Yuki as he guided us through several principal Tokyo areas we had requested: Imperial Palace East Gardens, Meiji Jingu shrine, and Sinso-ji Temple with walk through the immediate Asakusa shopping street (our request). These important sites with his insights helped our better understanding of Tokyo's rich cultural heritage. Yuki was a fount of information as we asked many questions. He was well organized with a great, personally prepared guide on his ipad that he shared. As lunch time approached, he introduced us to a wonderful udon noodle restaurant. In addition, we asked about sights we planned to tour on our own. He gave us much r... read more

Yuki picked us up at Yokohama pier and we had a wonderful day at Sankeien Gardens, the wisteria blossoms, and all the spring flowers was beautiful. We had tempura at a small neighborhood restaurant, which was like a 5 start restaurant. The best tempura I have had. Yuki is a inspiration because you will have to be able to keep up with him, as far as walking is concerned. He is also very accommodating and patient. We enjoyed our tour with Yuki.
Dear Lisa, Thank you for writing a review of my Yokohama tour. I found the Tempura restaurant by a gourmet application. I will take my guest there for lunch next time. It was unfortunate to start raining so we changed our plan to visit the Ziburi shop. Please give my best regardsto your daughter, too. Yuki
We found Yuki to be a very flexible and resourceful guide We covered a lot of territory and saw almost all the sites we had on our list during a weekend He was eager to please and made recommendations that added local color to the experience.
Dear Jane, Thank you for your considerate review. I will reflect your lessons to my tours. Shopping is one of my weakness. Please give my best regards to Your husband, too. Yuki
Yuki guided our group of 10 people through Odawara, Fuji, Gotemba area. He booked a bus that fit our needs well. It was unlucky for us that those two days raining, so we couldnt maximise our picture taking of the beautiful cherry blossom trees. Yuki is very polite, humble, and assisted our group very well. Very reccomended.
Yuki was a wonderful choice for our first trip to Japan, he was gracious and accommodating as we spent the day exploring Asakusa, Akihabara, and harbor cruise. After touring Kyoto for 3 days we needed a slower paced day. Yuki adjusted our original plan to accommodate us. It was the perfect day. Thank you .
Dear Christine, Thank you for writing such a nice review of my tour. It was a comfortable tour for me, too. The rever cruising was very good. Best regards, Yuki.
Very kind and knowledgeable man. Took me to the Imperial palace and told me do many amazing facts about the emporer and the history behind it! One if the best days if me trip! Would Definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a nice informational filled day!
Thank you for your nice review, Jessica. Than is my second time to attend the special tour to inside of Imperial Palace. It took time to get the tickets and go through security but it was worth while. Best regards, Yuki
Our day with Yuki was amazing. His expert knowledge was educational and enlightenting. Had a wonderful day. The best way to see a new city in a foreign country on our first day of our 12 day tour. Thank you Yuki. Iain & Lisa - Australia
Dear Lain, Thank you for writing the review of Tokyo tour. I always try to maximize my tour so that you can enjoy your time in Tokyo. The observatory is my favorite to see the best view of Tokyo with an inexpensive fee. I was happy to take you to very tasty Ramen restaurant, food is an important part of my tour. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki was wonderful. He was well prepared, answered all my questions by email and was prompt. We had a wonderful day exploring Kyoto and visiting the top sites. I know we would not have been able to see as much if we had done it ourselves. He met us at our hotel in Tokyo, helped us get the bullet train tickets at a discount, then helped navigate us through the sites we wanted to see in Kyoto ( bamboo forest, Toriii gates, golden temple). He added the Buddha temple for us and it was wonderful. We had homemade Kyoto cuisine at a local restaurant which was just perfect for our cultural experience. He then took us back to Tokyo on the bullet train. He also gave us some background and history of the shrines and temples with illustrations on his ipad. Dear Vidya, Thank you for your review to describe such a detail of my tour. My tour is flexible to accommodate requests from my guest as much as possible. One day tour to Kyoto is always challenging for me. I’m glad to know that you satisfied with it. Best regards,Yuki
Yuki was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable of the history and culture of Japan. He had great visuals on his iPad that he showed us throughout the day to give us more detail about the history and locations we were visiting. He lent us a bus card that we added money to so that we could get to our locations faster. This meant that we had more time to visit once we arrived. We did up taking the wrong bus on accident, but he threw in an extra tour of one of the temples to make up for it. Overall, Yuki was a very knowledgeable guide and I would highly recommend him for your tour!
Dear Kelli, Thank you for your excellent review of my tour. Kamakura is my favorite place with a lot of traditional places of history. I am very happy to know that you know my intentions of the tour. Best regards, Yuki.
We were met at our hotel in Tokyo. We traveled by train, tram and bus easily with Yuki's help. We were a party of 4. We all agreed that Yuki was the best tour guide we have had and enjoyed our day immensely. Yuki was very knowledgeable and explained all the different things we saw. We all agreed an excellent and outstanding day was had by all. We highly recommend Yuki and Triplelights to friend's and family.
Thank you for your excellent review of my tour. I am very happy to know you enjoyed it. Kamakura is my favorite place. Please give my best regards to other members. Yuki
My family of seven were fortunate enough to have Yuki guide us on two trips: one half day in Tokyo and one full day in Hakone. Since this was our first visit to Japan, it was great having an experienced guide like Yuki to help us navigate the rail and subway systems, and provide us with excellent descriptions and facts about all the places we visited. Moreover Yuki is very friendly and communicates well with people of all ages. Yuki got very high approvals from both my 11 year old son, and my mother who is in here 70’s. My whole family enjoyed our experience with Yuki, and would definitely use his services if we visit Japan again. Thank You Yuki!
Dear Kevin, Thank you for writing such an elaborate review during your stay in Japan. I hope you and your family have a nice time in Disney Sea, now. Please give my best regards to your family. Yuki
Yuki was a wonderful tour guide. We had a couple of days in Tokyo which fortuitously coincided with the peak of cherry blossom season. He took us to all the wonderful hidden cherry blossom spots and made it such a wonderful experience. He was particularly kind to my children, the youngest one whom he took us to the character section and toy stores in Tokyo station, which turned out to be a highlight of his vacation. We recommend him without reservation.
Thank you for writing such a good review. I enjoyed the cherry blossoms and talking with you during the tour. Please give my best regards to your family. Yuki
Mr Yuki was a substitute guide who took over somebody whose services I booked much earlier but couldn't make it on the appointed date. I am thankful that TripleLights asked the very experienced Mr Yuki to bring us to our desired sites in Tokyo. He was very accommodating, too. He knew how much I wanted to revisit the spot near the Imperial Gardens with my daughter who was in my womb when I had a photo taken in that particular place 30 years ago. And, he found time for us to find that particular spot. If only for this, I am so grateful to Mr.Yuki.
Dear Ma, Thank you for taking your time to write the review. I am very happy to know you enjoyed my tour. It is my great honor to guide a guest who has such special memories of Japan. Please give my best regards to your husband, too. Yuki
My parents and I spent a few days in Japan and this was our first time here. We wanted to see as much as possible in our short stay so we hired a private tour guide (Yuki.) Yuki was an amazing and kind host. He showed us around Tsujiki, Akihabara, and the Tokyo Sky Tree. He was very informative and if I am ever back in Tokyo in need of a guide I would book him without a second thought. Thank you very much Yuki for a memorable experience.
Thank you for your prompt review for yestersday's tour. I enjoyed the various street foods with your family such as Satusma-age (fish meat with shrinmp and vegetablen), Steak of Japanese beef at Tsukiji. I found that we can have other street foods in Akihabara, too. Food is an important Japanese culture both traditional and is up-to-dated. So I always recommend my guests to try them as a part of my tour. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki was great. He was able to accommodate us last minute for a 1-day trip to Kyoto from Seoul. He met us at our hotel that morning and guided us through the subway and bullet train to make our way to Kyoto. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this trip!
Thank you for your review. I am very happy to read your review. I will take other guests to the restaurant of Kyoto cuisine where we enjyoed our lunch. There are other palces in Kyoto to visit, please come again in the autumn colar season. Best regards, Yuki
Our group if 5 friends had a great time with Yuki in Tokyo. He had an awesome sense of humour and was fill of information. Yuki went above and beyond what was agreed to help us find a luggage storage location. Thanks Yuki for helping make our trip fantastic.
Dear Gabby, I am very happy to know you enjoyed two days of my tours. I am very flexible to adjust it to your interests to maximize your time. Please come again as there are many ski resorts other than Hakuba area with good snow in Japan. Best regards to your colleagues, too. Yuki
Yuki provided us with a wonderful 4 hour tour. We started with a bird's eye view of Tokyo from the world trade center building, then headed to nearby shrine. Afterwards, we toured the Meiji Jingo shrine. Yuki taught us about Shoguns, Emperor rule, Buddhism and Shinto. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We would tour with Yuki again, without question.
Dear Bride, Thank you for your review! I enjoyed the tour as you showed great interests to the places and my explanation of them. Please come again, as there are many good ski resorts in Japan. Please give my best regards to your husband, too.
Mr. Yuki was very accommodating to our requests and was very informative and helpful all throughout our tour!
Dear Janisah, Thank you for your review. I enjoyed the sushi lunch with you. It was delicious, thank you. Best regards, Yuki
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Yuki, visiting the famous fish market and the Imperial palace gardens. Yuki was first class, knowledgeable, competent and his English language skills excellent. Thank you for helping to make our one day in Tokyo memorable.
Dear SUsan, Thank you for your compliment on my tour. Everything went well as we took taxi to shorten our time. It was a nice way to looking around those area. I hope you can stay longer next time. Please give my best regards to your husband Michael.
Four of us had a fantastic day touring the sights of Kamakura. Yuki met us at our hotel and that helped streamline our day so we didn’t have to figure out navigating through the train stations. Yuki was very informative in regards to the history at the sights we visited. I would highly recommend Yuki as a tour guide as our day was fun and full of Japanese history. Excellent day tour with Yuki from Tokyo to Kamakura.

Sorry, I wrote you before reading this review. But thank you very much for writing such a elaborate review. I am relieved to finish your tours which were very challengable for me. I will improve my tours based on this experience.
On behalf of my team of 4 from Penang Malaysia, we thank Yuki for his excellent tour guide to Hakone to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the beautiful Mount Fuji. It was indeed spectacular to view the mountain scenery from the cruise in Lake Ashi. Nevertheless, although the cable ropeway was closed due to climatic reason, we had a great lunch and bus ride down to the hot spring public bath at Yumoto Fujiya Hotel. Thanks to Yuki and will definitely come back to visit amazing Japan!
Dear Roseboo, Thank you for writing a review of my tour. On Nov. 3rd, Hakone was crowded more than I had anticipated as it was not only a Japanese national holiday but also the demonstration day of samurai procession at Yumoto which blocked the road to Hakone mountains. So we gave up taking a bus from Odawara. We were lucky to take the bus from Yumoto instead of the mountain train which was full of passengers. In addition to that Owakudani ropeway was closed due to the high concentration of the volcanic gas. Again we had to change our route to take a bus to Gora station where we took the mountain train to Yumoto where you took the hot spring bath. Please come again to see Mt.Fuji in other season from other place.
I am most happy to have mr Yuki join us in our Yokohama as our guide. He was most polite, patient, that’s why we hd an easy going tour around Yokohama. Kids were delighted to get rides and he was patient to deal with their request. Our Cup Noodle Museum was the highlight of our tour. Kids had fun in their Ramen Activity. Many thanks again mr Yuki.
Dear Ethel, Thank you for your review of our tour. Our tour became very different from what I planed but it is fine with me if you are satisfied with it. I should have found the meaning of the smart illumination at Azono Hana park. It was very different from usual illuminations with numerous lights. Best regards, Yuki
Best guide we ever had in our travels of many countries! Very organized and fluent in English, he planned our day with clear detailed communication and provided what he promised and more. He thought of every details and was like a family with us. Can’t thank him enough!
Dear Jwalant, Thank you for writing such an elaborate review ! Sorry for the lunch at Gora park, there is no restaurant for vegetarians. But we had very nice dinner at an Indian restaurant at Roppongi. I feel happy to see your family enjoyed it. Thank you for let me try the curry new to me. Please give my best regards to your family, too. Thank you for taking my tour. Yuki
Our most excellent guide Yuki was with us on two days. Taking us to points of interest not covered by our regular tour company. One of our tours was a larger than normal group (14) on a 7 hour Tokyo Samurai and Ameyoko tour. The other centered around a trip to the Owl cafe, which was fantastic in that we were allowed to visit 12 species of owls who were well cared for, up close and personal. Yuki's English was very fluent and he guided us trough various trains to destinations with ease and care. To make the most of our limited time, he purchased our tickets in advance. We benefited from his extensive knowledge, his sense if anticipation and fine amiability.. We would look forward to having Yuki as a guide again when we come extraordinary Japan another time. Yes. we would recommend him... read more
Dear Drothy, Thank you for your review together with detailed description of our tour. I didn't have much experiance on group tours with more than ten guests so that I was relieved to finish the tour without any troubles. It was very difficult to use public transportations with 14 guests. Best regards, Yuki
Guide walked in front of us not explaining anything as we went - it felt life it was just from destination to destination and nothing in between
Dear Jo, Sorry if if feel so that I didn't know during the tour. You should ask me for more explanation. I made the following explanations. At the entrance of Big Buddha: It was made in 12th centry and the building was destroyed by an earthquake and never built again. The statue was made layer by layer with casting bronze into gaps between molds. The statue is Amida Nyurai who is in charge of heaven and Nyurai is the hightest rank in Buddhism. In front of the worship hall of Houkokuji temple (Bumboo temple): This temple was made in Muromachi period to worship the grand father of Takauji Ashikaga who started Muromachi period. This temple belongs Zen sect of Buddhism and worship Shaka Nyorai who established Buddhism in Idea. I explained about the name and route of the next place ... read more
It was a great pleasure to have Yuki as our private guide. Yuki was very informative and knowledgeable about Japanish customs, religion and history. He is charming and helpfull, also flexiable to our wishes. Smooth travelling in public transport was excellent. Thank you Yuki so much!
Dear Anita, Thank you for your nice review. I am glad you enjoyed my tour. I will mail you some photos I took during our tour. Best regards, Yuki
I cannot even begin how excellent Yuki was as my tour expert in Tokyo for three days. Coming to Japan as a first-timer, I was nervous about navigating the Tokyo's public transportation systems and taking in a culture I have never personally been immersed in. Through going around Tokyo with Yuki, I was not only able to overcome the initial anxiety, but also gain a new perspective on Japan that I would otherwise have missed out on had I went alone. Yuki was an excellent communicator, took into account my interests in improving my proposed itinerary and made sure that every spot we visited was supplemented with interesting information and historical background. Yuki made sure that I was not only enjoying the stops as a tourist experience, but also see each attraction through the lens of so... read more
Dear Andrew, Thank you for writing such an elaborate review. You helped me to expand my tours to new area where I have never been to. You are such a nice guest that I could vist three kinds of popular cafes. The place you asked me in Nakano has the most delicious ramen I 've ever had. I will add the places we visited to my tour. Please enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki was very informative, his English was good, smooth public transportation . He was little too fast walking for us, hard time keeping up with him. He tried to accommodate us with what we want. He is just a fast walker.
Dear Mitzi, Thank you for your advice. I am a slow walker in Japnese standard. It is difficult for me to adjust my walking speed to various guests. I didn' notice your complaint as you followed me well in the tour. I was always waiting for you when you didn't follow me. Best regards, Yuki
We toured the Tokyo, Hakone and Kamakura areas with Yuki. Yuki was a very organized guide with wide knowledge of the Temples, Shrines and other important Tourist spots that we visited. He plans the days well and considers the preferences of the customer. I will not hesitate to recommend his services to my friends.
Dear Aurther, Thank you for your nice review. You are such a generous person. I enjoyed guiding your group. Best regards, Yuki
We were happy with our guide Yuki
Dear Eberhard, Thank you for your review of five stars. I am glad to know you enjoyed my tour.
Yuki is an excellent tour guide, really nice guy. This was our second time around with Yuki, we spent 5 days with him, he is very accomodative, helpful and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a particular thing/item or question then he is your man! Also, for those wishing to do a bit of shopping, please ask Yuki for a special tailermade shopping experiance tour! Thanks again Yuki for everything, was great to see you again. Japan is such a lovely place and the people are so nice. Best, Noel & Eve
Dear Noel, Thank you for writing excellent review. Your reserch helps me a lot to expand my tours. It is always my pleasure to guide you and eve. Please reminds Japan with your souveniors. Best regards, Yuki
Thank you Yuki-san for being so patient with us (all nine of us) during our tours. Yuki-san was so helpful, especially helping us to purchase the tickets for the bullet train. His service was very good and even though our tours only lasted 3 days, we were very happy with Yuki-san and we have had the most enjoyable trips with him. Arigato-gosaimas-da!
Dear Vivian, Thank you for your review. I am very happy to know you enjoyed traveling Japan. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki was fantastic! He picked us from the hotel lobby and gave a lesson on the Tokyo Subway system before we began our tour. He showed us how to buy the Pasmo Card and use the subway. We had a great day and saw the Tokyo tower, Zojyoji temple and visited Asakusa. Tsukiji fish market was closed on our booked day so we had pre-arranged to visit Akihabara where the tour ended. Yuki was great at providing direction on which subway lines we could take to get us back to our hotel. Yuki, thanks for the great day!
Dear Dramy, Thank you for writing a review of my tour. It is always my pleasure to help you to enjoy traveling in Japan. Please give my best regard to your sister, too Yuki
We were a little bit hesitant to book this one day Kyoto from Tokyo tour because of the distance (Our hotel was in Narita which was an hour or so away from Tokyo)...But Yuki was able to make this happen for us...Exploring Kyoto was an awesome experience...Considering how busy/crazy train/subway/bus system here in Japan, having someone as Yuki to guide us through to the destinations that were must-see's was really wonderful. I recomnded this tour for those who would like to see Kyoto with very little experience of public transpotation in Japan.
Dear Phoebe, Thank you for writing nice review! This is my first time to guide those who staying Narita airport. Everything went well but the long ride of trains. Fushimi shrine, Sanjusangedo temple and Golden temple are the best places in Kyoto. I will recommend your route for other guest too. Please give my best regards to Stephen. Yuki
Our trip to Tokyo was a rainy one. Instead of going to Hakone with Yuki, he advised us to cancel it because of rain, thus we pushed thru to Kamakura. Yuki was a very nice guide. He showed us the interesting things in Kamakura, and he can also really walk too! He was there to guide us in taking the trains to reach our points of interests. We would have wanted a more informative guide, as Yuki was not as informative in the history of Kamakura as we would've liked. Although the gallery told of the history of the Kanon, it is still diffetent coming from your guide and also the shogun era of Japan. Overall, it was an okay experience to Kamakura. Getting a guide reaaly relieves you of the stress in the possibility of getting lost in Japan.
Dear Jennielynne, Thank you for writing a review. I have prepared some explanation of the sight but it is difficult to know how much I should explain them. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki did a very good job of guiding us around Tokyo. He lent us some Metro cards so we could just recharge them rather than buying new ones which was nice.
Dear Rob, Thank you for your review. I am very glad to know that you enjoyed my tour. It was during Obon week and restaurants in Shibuya were very crowded. We found a good one in some distance from the station. I hope you enjoyed food and people in Tokyo. Best regards, Yuki.
Yuki was our guide for Hakone (departing from Tokyo by Shinkansan). About half way through the tour we had stormy weather that resulted in the "ropeway" being cancelled. Thank goodness Yuki was there to figure out how to continue on our journey to Lake Ashi by local bus. This would have been very tricky without a knowledgeable guide. We stayed overnight in Hakone while Yuki headed back to the Tokyo area. He made sure that we had instructions on how to proceed to Kyoto on our own the next morning. I would recommend Yuki for his excellent English and his efficient manner.
Dear Kate, Thank you for taking time to write the nice review. Sorry for the extra payments for the bus and the cruise which were not covered by Hakone Free Pass. The ropeway to Owakudani was suddenly canceled due to an approaching thunder storm. They usually provide a shuttle bus to cover the ropeway route but they didn't this time. So we had to take the other bus to Owakudani and waited long time for a bus to Lake Ashi. At the lake, it rained so hard to walk to the planned pier for the pirate ship. Again we had to take other ship near by to cruise Lake Ashi. Anything can happen in Hakone due to weather. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki understood what was important to us. Very knowledgeable, soft spoken and kind. A wonderful example of the quality of your employees. I'm coming back to Japan next year and if possible I would like to have him as a tour guide again. I have been asked by some of the passengers on the Diamond Princess about our tour. I highly recommend your company.
Dear Florence, Thank you for writing a great review! Everything went well for our tour but We didn't have enough time to visit other seights in Kamakura. Please come again in different time of the year. Please give my best regards to your grand daughter, too. Yuki
Yuki-san gave us a great introduction to Tokyo on day 1 of our trip. He not only helped us see several Tokyo highlights in a day, but also gave us enough of an orientation to the city so that we are were able to comfortably navigate Tokyo by ourselves after that. His suggestions on getting a Pasmo card to navigate the subway system, and the extra photographs and info he had handy on his tablet were also greatly appreciated. We particularly enjoyed all the historical and cultural insights he was able to provide. Thanks, Yuki-san!
Dear Sunil, Thank you for giving a good review of my tour. It's my great pleasure to help my guests to enjoy traveling Japan. Please give my best regards to your family, too. Yuki
Yuki is a pleasant and experienced guide to tour with. He offered bits of interesting historical events for each different location and will not hesitate to answer your questions. Moreover, the presentation was neat and commendable. He offered to fetch us at our apartment (not to mention that he was early!) and even took the extra mile to include additional tour location when the tour ended early. If you are looking for a light-hearted tour, i would recommend Yuki.
Dear Huan, Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed my tour to Kamakura which is my favorite place to visit. I am impressed with the cloud dragon at Kencho-ji temple. I have seen a similar one in Tenryu-ji temple in Kyoto but I have to pay an additional fee and no photo there while no additional fee and photo is OK in Kamakura. Best regards, Yuki
We had two tours with Yuki, one in Tokyo centre and one in Yokohama. On both occasions Yuki met us on time and with a big smile. We had exchanged e-mails prior to the tour so Yuki knew the sights we wanted to see. He then arranged the days so we saw everything we wanted. We went on the underground and the bus system and had two excellent lunches in traditional restaurants. Yuki was very knowledgeable and explained about the history associated with the sights. I would have no hesitation in recommending Yuki as a guide when you visit Japan.
Dear Bob, Thank you for writing the review of my tours. I am glad that your enjoyed my tours. You are very kind to take me to Tokyo Skytree observatory and the powdered green tea service at Sankei-en. It was my first time to visit Sankei-en when the lotus flowers are in full bloom. Best regards, Yuki
We took a tour with Yuki to Kamakura. He knows the area very well. Has a good knowledge of the attractions. We enjoyed the trip.
Dear Tri, Thank you for writing a review so soon. Kamakura is the most favorite place for me and I am very happy to know you enjoyed there. Please give my best regards to your family, too. Yuki
Mr. Yuki met us very punctually. He was very informative and kept a brisk pace, allowing us to a number of sites during the day. He handled purchasing the tickets we needed to navigate about Tokyo. The restaurant he suggested for lunch was elegant, quite and out of the way (a nice break from the heat and crowds outside). I was able to have some interesting chats related to his profession, as he was a nuclear physicist. We were fortunate to have Mr. Yuki as our guide!
Dear MB, Thank you for your kind review. I feel sorry for your daughters not enjoyed Soba noodle and Tempura. Harajuku is not a great place for lunch. By the way I used to be a nuclear engineer not nuclear physicist. Please come again in the autumn color season. Best regards, Yuki
Thank you so much Yuki for best guide ever
Dear Val, Thank you for your good review. It was in Japnese rainy season. I am glad your girl friend enjoyed flowers of Hydrangea and other plants. Although we couldn't see Mt.Fuji, it was a memorial tour for me ,too. Best regards, Yuki
We enjoyed a fantastic day tour from Tokyo to Kamakura with Yuki. He was professional but warm and friendly. He is also very high energy. His English and knowledge of various cultures/religions is excellent. In addition to his clear verbal explanations, he carries an iPad pre-loaded with photos, diagrams and other reference info to quickly assist his guests in their understanding of the various points of interest. We felt that was quite helpful. We had a few email exchanges before we arrived in Tokyo so he could plan our tour for what we wanted to see most. Much of it was left to his discretion since he is the expert. For example, he arranged the timing to take the large Sunday crowds into consideration. We either walked or took the subway. The tour was well-planned for the most effici... read more
Dear Gayle, Thank you very much to take your time to write such an elaborate review ! We enjoyed Hase-dera temple in the morning although its Hydrangea trail was too crowded to visit as it is a very narrow trail. It was unfortunate that it started heavy rain after lunch. I really wanted take you to Enkaku-ji Temple as it is more peaceful and less crowded place in Kamakura. I thought we can visit Imperial palace if the rain stops but it didn't. So I took you a new shopping center "Kitte" next to Tokyo Station. I am glad you enjoyed the place and return to your hotel without being wet. There are many other places in Tokyo with beautiful garden so please come again in autumn when the weather will be better. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki is a great tour guide. Knowledgeable and courteous. I'd recommend him to anyone in need of a guide in Japan
Dear Steve, Thank you for writing a review. I am very glad to know that you and your family enjoyed my tour to Kyoto. I made this tour for those who want to visit Kyoto within one day from Tokyo. The Shinkansen made this possible. Best regards, Yuki
Yuki is a very kind and patient tour guide. He did his job very well in explaining the history, details and the story of the tourist spots. Besides, he was very patient to take care of my trip that consists of 5 young kids. Highly recommended!
Dear Angeline, Thank you for writing the review while you are still in Japan. I feel your are much patient than me. Please enjoy Disney land tomorrow with your family and friends. Please give my best regards, to other members, too. Yuki
I wanted to see Mt Fuji, the ice caves and walk through the woods. Prior before the tour, Yuki made us aware that the weather might be very bad and if I want I can change the date for the tour. As I could not change the date, I confirmed that I still want to do the planned tour. Unfortunately the weather was so bad, that we were not able to go up Mt Fuji. Yuki made us aware during our train ride. He was so pro active and creating an instand change in the tour that we got the most out of the day. We saw the caves, a little original village, great original food, and a fantastic walk through the forrest. He was very knowledgeable and it was fun to be with him. I would recommend him as a tour guide and book him anytime again. Thank you Yuki for a great day
Dear Karin, Thank you very much for your great review ! I am glad you enjoyed my tour although we can not see Mt.Fuji. It was my first time to visit the caves and Aokigahara forest. You helped me to expand my tour. Please give my best regards to your husband. Yuki
Yuki is very nice and very passionate about his work. He answered all our questions.
Dear Michelle, Thank you for writing the review for Zita. It is my great pleasure to know she enjoyed my tour. I am impressed she took so many pictures during the half day tour at Asakusa, Skytree and Tokyo tower. Please give my best regards to Zita and her husband and daughter.
He is smart and patient. He was super helpful especially when we needed to retrieve our bags left at the Shinkansen train. He is honest. What should I expect on our trip was been discussed in our emails. Specifically, the value of our Hakone trip with Yuki-san is cheaper than other tourist guide.
Dear Helen, Thank you for writing the review of our tour ! I feel sorry for you to miss Mt.Fuji, I hope you could see it on someother day. You have a wonderful family, I enjoyed to travel with them, too. Best regards, Yuki.
Yuki led a very good tour and provide many interesting points about the culture as we visited the temple, garden, learned the train system, and saw other sights. I would highly recommend him as a tour guide.
Dear Phillipia, Thank you for writing a review for Andrew and Tammy. We walked a lot in Imperial palace, Zojo temple and Meiji shrine. I hope their trip has been successful. Best regards, Yuki.
Yuki was very accommodating to the needs of my family, he adjusted our itinerary as we went along. Yuki was also very knowledgeable and his English was very good.
Dear Danyal, Thank you very much for taking your time to write the review of my tour. I am glad to hear that the half day tour is very suitable for your family. Some of my guests get tired of a full day tour so I made this half day tour. It is economical, too. Best regards,Yuki.
Yuki met us in Tokyo and traveled with us to Hakone. While Sunday is an extremely busy day for Hakone Yuki strategically found a way to avoid standing in lines by timing where we went at optimum times. He was informative answering our questions about Japanese culture and society. We returned rather late in the day and Yuki was extremely generous with his time spending around 10 hours with us. He even offered to take us back to our hotel on the train, although we told him it was not necessary. We highly recommend Yuki as a competent and informative guide.
Dear Ruth, Thank you for writing such a nice review. Your group is a very good guest for me. I enjoyed to answer questions one after another all during the tour. I hope you can see Mt. Fuji on the other day of staying in Japan. Bestvregards, Yuki.
Yuki was our guide for two full days, and during these two days we learned a lot about the history of Japan, which was most interesting to us. We visited the fish market, palace gardens and a few museums. Had a great lunch at the fish market and learned how to navigate the subway, which was far easier than we than we thought. Whatever question we had was answered often through a presentation in a website giving a great overview. Thank you Yuki, Ana & Flemming
Dear Flwmming, Thank you very much for taking your time during your travel. I am happy to know you learned a lot about Japan. It was one of the best tours since I started. Please enjoy your trip Japan with your wife Ana. Best regards, Yuki.
We really enjoyed our walking tour with Yuki. He was very helpful and informative. We enjoyed lunch in a local restaurant which offered the area's local delicacies. The restaurant was very pleasant and it gave us a chance to learn more about Japanese culture from Yuki. One of the highlights along with the temples and shrines was the ladies dressed in kimono and standing by the cherry blossoms in Kamakura.
Dear Richard, Thank you for taking time to write the review. I am very happy to know you enjoyed my tour. Kamakura is a nice place to feel the good old Japan. Please give my best regards to your friend, too.
We had an excellent trip of Tokyo City tour and Mount Fuji with Mr.Yuki. Mr.Yuki took us to a lot of viewing spots near Lake Kawaguchi. He also took us to a good restaurant for lunch in Lake Kawaguchi to taste Japanese delicacy. He planned the trip very nicely so that we did not have to rush during our site seeing.
Dear Srinivasan, Thank you very much for writing the review. We were very lucky to view the great Mt. Fuji but we were a little late to arrive the lake. It was on Sunday and Lake Kawaguchi was very crowded with not only foreigners but also Japanese people. I was very upset when many of the rstaurants near the lake were closed as their lunch were sold out. We were lucky to find a small cafe to provide lunch but their Sukiyaki was very good. Although we could not take the lake cruise, we could take a direct train to Tokyo which was very comfortable. Give my best regards to your colleagues, too.
We spend one day with Yuki visiting Tokyo station, entrance Imperial palace, Imperial East Garden, Senso-Ji tempel and Skytree. We had an amazing time including an amazing lunch. Yuki has a great knowledge of history and events that formed Tokyo. He explained us the JR train system so we could smoothly travel later to Takayama and also the metro system. He uses his ipad to support his explanation. He is very helpful, very friendly and speaks very good English. Our two daugters expected Yuki again the next day, they missed him already. We will visite Tokyo again and hopefully Yuki has time to join us then!
Dear Alexandra, Thank you for writing your review of my tour. I am very happy to know you and your family enjoyed my tour. It was a nice tour for me, too as you are very interested in my explanations of the history of each sites. We have the Golden Week from April 29th to 27th during when many popular places will be crowded. I would recommed not so crowded places near Tokyo such as Kamakura during these days. It's very kind of you giving me the Dutch waffles and Japanese rice crakers, they are very good. Best regards,Yuki
Yuki was an excellent guide. He met me at the Tokyo Station, and we headed out on a day trip to Kyoto. Yuki was very organized from the beginning of our tour to the end. He had meticulously planned our itinerary as to fit the most sites in to our short time in Kyoto. Communication prior to the tour was great. Yuki was also a great conversationalist, and he was obviously well versed in Japanese history. I enjoyed talking with him over the course of the tour. We had a busy day, but I greatly appreciate him taking me to Kyoto. Thanks Yuki!
Dear Terrell, Thank you for writing a nice review of my tour. I am very glad to know you enjoyed it. I will improve my tour based on this great experience with you. Best regards, Yuki.
We spent 5 days with Yuki and from the beginning, he was fantastic. He helped us to navigate the underground system, quickly and efficiently. We went to a variety of places, where he gave detailed explainations, sometimes using his iPad to show us different facts about where we were. We have seen some very modern parts of Tokyo whilst also enjoying more historical aspects too. Yuki has a great knowledge of history and events that shaped modern day Tokyo. He was flexible, helpful and very friendly, whilst helping us to follow Japanese protocol in different situations. We ate in some fabulous restaurants including having the most amazing sushi. We cannot recommend him highly enough for the time and effort he put in to making our stay so wonderful. Nothing was too much effort. We were sad to... read more
Dear John, Thank you for taking your precious time before your depature to UK to write such a detailed review ! Your good fortune makes such a wonderful tour; just on time for the cherry blossom peak and viewing very clear Mt. Fuji due to sudden change of the weather during very rainy days. We missed many places such as Odaiba and Tokyo National museum. There are other places we could not planed such as Lake Kawaguchi and Kamakura. Let's save these places for your next visit to Japan, maybe sometime in autumn. Please give my best regards to your wife and daughters. Your are the best guest I have ever guided.
Yuki did an excellent job of pre-trip planning, giving us many details and providing options. With our input he tailored the tour to concentrate on the things for which we had the most interest. Yuki did a very good job of letting us know what expenses to expect (admission fees, train ticket costs, etc.) and was able to optimize each trip to take advantage of passes which allow admission to several venues. Yuki made sure the pace was good (we prefer a fast pace), and he tailored the pace to be best for us.
Dear Linda, Thank you for writting such a elaborate review. It was a great pleasure for me to guide your family. Best regards, Yuki.
We were very pleased that it was Mr. Yuki that we chose to guide us around the Imperial Palace Grounds - he imparted to us his knowledge, and it was very edifying for us to know so much about Japanese history and Mr Yuki had the knack to mix the old with the new - in terms of how he related things about Japan to us. We are very grateful to Mr. Yuki. The final touch we Mr. Yuki sent us the photos he had taken - and this to us is very very memorable.
Dear Vipin, Thank you for writing a review of my tour. I was very glad to know that you are interested in Japanese history and gave me a lot of questions. Best regards, Yuki.
