Hi. I'm Michi.
I’m a national certificated tour guide in English. I would like to introduce many faces and charms of Japan and make your stay in Japan more fascinated and satisfied.
My specialty is tours of Hiroshima. In Hiroshima, there are two famous World Heritage Sites.
I have experienced many tours of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum & Park since I was a junior high school student. I would like to introduce you the a-bomb legacies that still existing in the city.
I also would like to share time with you in a historic island, Miyajima. There is one of the most famous Shinto shrines, the Itsukushima Shrine.
I also an official ‘A-bomb legacy successor’ designated by the City of Hiroshima. An A-bomb Legacy Successor is a memory keeper of the A-bomb survivors. To ensure that the A-bomb survivors' experiences and desires for peace are faithfully inherited and shared with as many people as possible, the City has started a three-year training program for official ‘A-bomb Legacy Successors.’ It is possible to include my lecture in my tour. It is appreciated that if you could let me know upon your booking.
Let me support your stay in Japan and I look forward to showing you the best of Japan!

I can not say enough good things about Michi. She was punctual, pleasant, and easy to understand. She was very knowledgeable about the city and how to get around it. We changed itineraries several times and she never blinked she was super Unfortunately she helped my wife find everything she wanted to buy. If you need an excellent guide who happens to be a nice person you can not go wrong with Michi
We were very happy with Michiru who gave us a very informative tour of Hiroshima and the Museum. She met us at the station on time and we really enjoyed our time with Michi. Would recommend Michiru to anyone visiting Hiroshima. Thank you !!
Michi toured our family of 5 (2 grandparents, 2 children, and myself) around Miyajima and Hiroshima Peace Park. We were on day 8 of travel and very tired. She was super understanding and adjusted her pace & plans to work with our family. Her English was great and she was very good with my children. She took them to a home-made Momiji Manju baking class in Miyajima that was the highlight of my children's trip. She was a great teacher, knowledgeable about the area, easy to understand, and I would use her again as a tour guide.
Michi was prompt in picking us up at our hotel. She led us through the Hiroshima museum ( the Bank), through the city to the Shrunken Gardens, the A Bomb Dome, The Museum and the Peace Promenade all through poring rain. She was pleasant and informative, yet inobtrusive as we explored what Hiroshima City has done to commemorate the happenings of August 6 1945 and to promote the banning of nuclear weapons. She was just the type of guide we needed as it was a very emotional experience.
The day before the tour, we arrived in Hiroshima. She sended us an e-mail with a tip to visit Shukkeien Garden at night, to see the beautiful illuminated cherry blossoms. Even before we met, she was already a great guide! At our request, she started the day tour by taking us to Miyajima at the highest tide to see the famous tori in the water. Back in Hiroshima, she guided us through the Peace Memorial Park and was able to tell us many stories behind the monuments.
