Hi. I'm Michi.
I’m a national certificated tour guide in English. I would like to introduce many faces and charms of Japan and make your stay in Japan more fascinated and satisfied.
My specialty is tours of Hiroshima. In Hiroshima, there are two famous World Heritage Sites.
I have experienced many tours of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum & Park since I was a junior high school student. I would like to introduce you the a-bomb legacies that still existing in the city.
I also would like to share time with you in a historic island, Miyajima. There is one of the most famous Shinto shrines, the Itsukushima Shrine.
I also an official ‘A-bomb legacy successor’ designated by the City of Hiroshima. An A-bomb Legacy Successor is a memory keeper of the A-bomb survivors. To ensure that the A-bomb survivors' experiences and desires for peace are faithfully inherited and shared with as many people as possible, the City has started a three-year training program for official ‘A-bomb Legacy Successors.’ It is possible to include my lecture in my tour. It is appreciated that if you could let me know upon your booking.
Let me support your stay in Japan and I look forward to showing you the best of Japan!

We met Michi at the train station in Hiroshima. We had traveled on the Shinkansen from Osaka for the day. We found the Peace Memorial and Museum to be sobering, and Michi allowed us enough time to absorb the information, and particularly relate it for our two teenagers. She told us her legacy story which was powerful. Lunch was terrific, okonomiyaki, a Hiroshima specialty. For the afternoon, we went to Miyajima island to see the shrine and visit some shops. Michi never rushed us, and gave us lots of information about the area and the culture. We had an enjoyable day and recommend Michi highly.
Hi Nanette, Thank you for taking your time to write such a great review. I was really glad sharing time with you in my hometown, Hiroshima. Also thank you for sharing the experience of a 17 year-old girl. Hope you come back to see the brand-new floating tori gate after the Olympic games and find more charms of Hiroshima. With Lots of Love, Michi
We are two well travelled “Senior” couples and fairly fussy too! We spent the afternoon and evening in Miyajima and the next full day visiting the “must sees” in Hiroshima. Michi is a knowledgeable guide whose company we enjoyed. We have no hesitation in recommending her.
We were so happy with our time spent with Michiru! She is very knowledgeable on the history of Hiroshima, we learnt so much. Thank you, we highly recommend you to others.
Hi Nathan, Thank you for your short visit to my hometown. Hope you have next opportunity to discover wonderful faces of Hiroshima, and see you again. With Lots of Love, Michi
We had a very good day with Michi. We started at the Hiroshima Peace Museum , Park & Dome, Michi was able to explain many things & show us various points of interest that would be missed if one was trying to do it on their own. We then went by boat (additional cost but worth it, saving time & providing another perspective to our experience in Hiroshima) to Miyajima Island and spent the afternoon there. This is a beautiful place & rated one of top 3 tourist spots in Japan. Michi had a very good command of English & her commentary was very good, as was her knowledge of the places we visited & the culture. Based on our experience we would have no hesitation recommending Michi's services as a guide.
Hi Peter, I'm glad that you chose me as your guide in Hiroshima. I really worried we might stuck in the mid of the crowd, but we were truly lucky from the beginning to the end. Also we could enjoy the beauty of Setouchi, the Seto Inland Sea. Sorry for the monkeys in Miyajima, especially 2 left ones on the island, but we are safe now. Hope your coming back to Hiroshima to see a brand-new floating tori gate! With Lots of Love, Michi
We had a wonderful tour with Michi! She exceeded every expectation, was extremely knowledgeable about Hiroshima and surrounding areas as well as Japanese history. I highly recommend requesting the A Bomb legacy lecture from her, it gives a very personal touch to have a better understanding of that day from someone who lived through it. Fantastic tour! Highly recommend for anyone who would like a personal touch on seeing Hiroshima and Miyajima! Thanks Michi!
Hi Dena, I also had a brilliant time with you & your family. Thank you for sharing a story of a girl who was under the mushroom cloud. I would like to see you again and explore Hiroshima attractions with your girls! With Lots of Love, Michi
