Kimmy is an excellent and highly professional guide. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and patience are fantastic - just like her English. I visited Tokyo with my two children and Kimmy couldn't have been kinder or more insightful over the two sessions we had in her company. We saw so many different aspects of Tokyo and she was very mindful of the whole group, shaping the tour to match our pace and all the differing interests we had. Thank you Kimmy. It was such a pleasure to meet you.
Kimmy is simply outstanding and I highly recommend her as a guide for Tokyo. Overall Kimmy is knowledgeable and passionate about her country and culture. She is friendly, energetic, approachable and very patient (a major plus when traveling with kids). She also knows great local (non-touristy) places to eat (a huge plus if you're a foodie). Beforehand, she collaborated with me to plan the our experience and customize it to our family needs (me, my wife and 2 kids: 11 and 12). During the tour, she showed us around Tokyo while sharing interesting highlights of Japanese history and traditions. At lunch time, Kimmy took us to one of the best ramen we've ever had and she also recommended a great yakitori place for dinner. Kimmy went above and beyond by helping us get subway/metro passes for the kids (you need passports at hand) and helping us buy reserved Shinkansen (bullet train) tickets. She made our time in Tokyo very memorable. We couldn't have wished for a better guide.
Kimmy was a wonderful guide and adjusted her tour to meet the needs of our family AND the terrible weather. We had an amazing experience at the fish market, experienced wonderful sushi (without crowds!), navigated the subway systems and learned how to make a wish both in the Buddhist (Sensoji Temple) and Shinto (Meiji Shrine). We would highly recommend Kimmy again!
