Hi, I am Motoko.
I am a national licensed tour guide and also have the certificate of travel service supervisor. I do the tour from a small group of 2-5 people to a large group over 30 people.
Before becoming a tour guide, I was working as a weather forecaster for more than 10 years. But I changed my career since I like to communicate with people. Now I know it was the right decision! I really enjoy offering tours to poeple from all over the world.
What do you expect from Tokyo?
There’re lots of attractions in Tokyo: Historical spots, beautiful gardens, high-end shopping areas, local markets, busy train stations, etc. Of course you can enjoy good food, too! I am sure Tokyo will satisfy your expectation and I would be glad to be your guide.
I look forward to seeing you here in Tokyo!

Motoko is a very good guide.
We recently had the pleasure of Motoko's guidance on our free day in Tokyo. She was a great guide and showed us some wonderful sites. Her command of English was very good and made it very easy for my wife and I to communicate with the locals. I would recommend her very highly. We had a great day.
We really enjoyed our tour with Motoko exploring Tokyo. Her knowledge about the places that we visited was outstanding. We were able to see all the places we wanted to see and Motoko was very flexible about the places to see during the tour. The restaurant we had lunch was fantasic and very enjoyable. Overall Motoko is a fantastic tour guide that really made us appriciate the Japanese culture. The tour also gave us the confidence to use the Tokyo subway system which we found to be reasonably easy once we were shown how to use it. We would highly recommend Motoko if you are visiting Japan and Tokyo especially for the first time.
Thank you Motoko for a fun and informative tour experience. Your guidance around Meiji Jingu was outstanding, we came away understanding a lot more about Japanese history and beliefs. Also really appreciated you detouring to the ginko tree avenue and then taking us to the rugby union game at end of tour. See you next time!
We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers visiting Japan for the first time. Motoko met us at our hotel and our private day tour began. We visited Asakusa, Akihabara, an Owl cafe, and Yanaka. Before entering the shrine, Motoko showed us how to properly wash our hands and purify ourselves. She also explained the history and the architecture of the shrine that we visited. Next, we headed to Akihabara where our son spent time browsing through the anime stores. Motoko was very patient as she helped to find other anime stores in search of specific items that our son wanted. Our visit to the Owl café was very unique and unexpected. Here, we were able to spend time with owls perched on your arm and where you can gently stroke their heads. I don't think you can get close and personal with these animals anywhere else! Motoko also suggested a nice place for us to eat lunch. We had a great lunch, eating tonkatsu, which was delicious. Our day ended with a visit to Yanaka, seeing a different side of the Tokyo area, a slower side. We saw the burial site of the last shogun as explained to us by Motoko. Throughout the tour, Motoko would ensure that we were okay since it was hot and humid. We used public transportation and learned how efficient and clean it is. We learned a lot with her and thoroughly enjoyed our day of sightseeing and experiencing Tokyo. She would ensure that everyone had a great time, which we did. We would highly recommend her for any tours.
