Yumi is very knowledgeable and provided great insight in her tour
Yumi was so patient with us on the first day of our arrival to Tokyo from Australia. We are a family of 4 with two young kids. We didn’t get much sleep on the plane so the kids were so tired and hungry but Yumi accommodated our needs. We learnt so much and Yumi’s guide on Tokyo subway system and JR made it easy for us to navigate the Tokyo train system. What a great introduction to Tokyo. Thank you very much Yumi. Nyka and family.
I had a great time with Yumi who took me to Shinjuku Station and showed me how to work out the right tickets to buy and how to use the machines. We strolled around the area and saw how the Kabukicho and Golden Gal areas look in daylight- far less scary than you might think, a good chance to tailor tours to what you want then went to visit some places I had specifically asked about. Yumi adjusted her pace to suit my somewhat jet lagged state. It’s really helpful to get a feel for the area and station with someone as knowledgeable as Yumi. I now feel much more confident about exploring this area on my own.
Yumi was an amazing tour guide. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and great with our kids on our tour in Tokyo. We were a family of 8 people that included twin 6-year-olds and a 12-year-old. We never felt lost or rushed. We got to see all the important places we wanted to visit and was given great directions to other places we were interested in seeing. Next time we visit Japan we will look forward to booking Yumi for at least 2 days or more, she was a terrific tour guide. We recommend her tour guide services to everyone as she had merged right into our family with ease.
Yumi was an excellent tour guide. She took us to places we would have never known about and taught us a lot about her culture. She took us to various places where we were able to taste samples of Japanese food (seaweed, dashi, pickled pumpkin, etc), she took us to a shrine and taught us the ceremony. She also took us to the Washi paper making work shop where we could make our own paper (and speak to a robot); and later she took us to Shinjuku so we could visit the samurai museum and eat next to Godzilla. She was knowledgeable, sweet natured, and communicated with us easily. She was also very accomadating
