We are a group of licensed tour guides who are all so into architecture.
All our guides are well-versed in the characteristics of distinctive-looking commercial buildings by architects dotted around Tokyo, and can give you a better understanding of the city and its architecture along with the historical background.
We provide you with an architecture tour which is easy to understand and enjoyable even for a non-professional, giving you a glimpse into Japanese life from a local point of view along with the historical and cultural explanations.
On top of the knowledge, our focus is to develop a friendly, person-to-person relationship with our guests. We look forward to talking with you not only about the architecture but anything that will enhance your experience in Japan.

My family and I definitely loved learning more about the Nakagin Capsule tower. I chose to do this tour because I'm an architecture student and the capsule tower had been coming up a lot in a few of my classes, so I wanted to know what it was all about. My mom and my sister, however, were only learning about the building for the first time. Our tour guide, Mari, taught us all something new about the tower, and we even got to it from the inside! All in all, a great experience with a great tour guide, and I would recommend it to anyone!
Dear Ophelie Thank you very much for your comment. I am really glad to hear that three of you have enjoyed the tour. There are many attractive architecture in Tokyo to see！ J'espere que vous reviendrez. Sincerely yours. Mari
My partner and I enjoyed our private tour of the Capsule Tower interior. The guide was friendly, the English was good and useful information was provided.
It was my pleasure to make this visit to the special capsule building which may no longer exist in the near future. The unit was purposely renovated to restore the original character in the 1970s and brought my memories back. The guide is professional and have a wide knowledge in architecture, we had exchanged the build topics between Japan and my place.
Thank you for taking capsule tower tour with me. I have enjoyed our conversation much. Hope you are enjoying traveling Izumo province. Bet you have visited the main hall building of Izumo Taisha (出雲大社) which is about 25 meter high. However it is said that original main hall height was about double of the present height. I hope you will Google the ancient structure of Izumo Taisha. Yoshi
Yuka was very insightful in sharing its history -besides the ones of its architectural values and significance. Was an easy going kind of tour and much have been learnt! To add, Yuka was so patiently accommodating to my issues with timing on the day of my tour and was amazingly generous to have let me geek out by being in the capsule a tiny bit longer.
Thank you very much for your comment Fara! It was great fun for me to share the story of the tower to someone so excited like you! We would look forward to seeing you in our other tours too! Arigato! Yuka
