Something About Me :
My name is Gerard. I am a National Licensed Tour Guide since 1994.
I was born and raised in Ende – Flores (East Nusa Tenggara). I spent my school days and work in Flores and Bali, and currently I am living in a Maumere.
I have worked as a receptionist and hotel guest guide, as an interpreter/ translator for Special Fisheries Consultant from the Van Camp Seafood Company - US, for the World Bank Consultants Jakarta Office, Co-manager of the KDP Community Conflict Negotiation Study and for the Short-Term Observation Team Europe Union in General Election Observation and Monitoring Missions in Indonesia, and longer I worked as a tour guide and as a Tour Operator until before COVID-19 where I enjoyed spending valuable time with people from various backgrounds and cultures and expanding my world and horizons.
I am also a tour guide trainer and have trained tour guides in Sikka and East Flores Regencies organized by Swisscontact Wisata and the Local Tourism Offices.
I am a self employed and I specialize in planning and organizing adventure trips as well as guiding tourists to Komodo, Flores, Lembata, Sabu-Rote and Sumba. I enjoy sharing about all the beauty of these islands with my customers in an informative, friendly & fun way.
My tours can introduce local special drinks--visit local palm wine makers, watch local music and dance performances, see the process of making traditional woven fabrics from hand spun cotton and natural dyes, see the ironsmith/ process of making knives and machetes , visiting remote villages that are less touristy, visits to enjoy nature such as walking/ hiking tours, folk games, tours for children, and more!

Yes! If you need to make changes such as removing or adding someone to your booking or changing the date or time of your tour, contact us by phone or email
After you secure your booking, the starting and ending points of your tour can be customized to your convenience (ex.: your hotel, nearby stations, etc.). Don't worry, we will take care of you! Some tours may have an extra fee for this service, make sure to check the tour page.
After booking a tour, the guide will accept (or decline) your booking within 24 hours. Then you will be noticed by email from Triplelights.
The price is charged per group. Which means that you make a one-time payment for your entire group and the price will not change if it is less or more people.

No. Your tour is private, only for you and your family or friends, there will be no other group of tourists together in your tour.
Yes, but there will be additional charge for that and it is not by car. The guide will go pick you up using public transportations. For further details, please contact your guide directly.
Yes, you can and you may be able to get a discount if you are traveling alone. Price depends on which guide you choose.
