Hello, I am Seiko! I was born and grew up in Kurashiki (Okayama pref.) until high school, spent my college days in Kyoto, and currently living in Osaka.
I studied Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Wisconsin, as well.
I myself am a traveler for life, been to more than 30 countries and all the prefectures in Japan and always excited to help travel planning for my friends/clients coming to Japan. I am also a hiker, kayaker, scuba diver, and snowboarder enjoying myself mostly outdoors in every season.
I would especially love to show you things that are rarely found in your guidebook or difficult to do as tourists from other countries as well as the beauty of the nature and rural areas in Japan.
Besides city tours in Osaka and Kyoto, my tours can stretch to introducing local foods, bar-hopping, sake/beer breweries, visiting secret local spots, excursions to enjoy the nature such as walking/hiking tours, onsen day-out, and more!
Let's have fun time and unique experience with me!

We had the good fortune of meeting Seiko during our recent trip to Kyoto. There are 3 of us and we wanted to visit various sights we didn't get to see the day prior from a bike tour. Despite the distant location of each sight and the limited time, Seiko was very helpful and accommodating when putting together our itinerary for us. She even made some terrific suggestions (Sake tasting) and we had a blast spending the day with her. Her English was excellent and she was by far the best tour guide during our 11 day trip inJapan. She offered a lot of history and information at each place we visited. I only wish we could spend more time with her that day. We will definitely have her guide us again when we return to Kyoto and Osaka. Thank you Seiko!!!
Very good English speaker. Knowledgeable with her job. Saved us alot of train money
Turned out to be an excellent idea to spend the evening with someone who knows the whereabouts of the city. Great "insider"-food, dishes a foreigner would not even consider to taste since he has no clue that they exist - down to earth dishes and thanks to the local guide immediate interaction with local guests, great fun, lovely people. Experience continued in a Sake Bar ...--> absolute take advantage of someone who knows the backstreets and can bring you closer to every day Japanese live.
This was a fun tour - relaxing and got to see the little bars and restaurants - enjoying the local sake and delicious food, followed by the bright lights of Dotonbori. Seiko explained many features of the culture in Osaka which was very interesting. Seiko was a great guide - thoroughly recommend this tour with Seiko especially if you feel like a fun night out.
We spent a day with Seiko in Kyoto and had a wonderful time exploring and learning about the city and Japanese culture. I think we plied Seiko with a million questions and she was able to answer everything effortlessly and patiently. :)
