Hello, My name is Masaharu.
I am the National Licenced Tour Guide and Interpreter in English.

This valuable experience gave me great passion for talking to many people with entirely different culture and historical background.
Therefore, it is my great pleasure to show foreign tourists from all over the world exciting tour spots by featuring traditional as well as modern faces of Japan.

Masa was very warm and knowledgeable. Knew the background, history, cultural significance of every location. Mapped out a great full day tour Showed is how to navigate the subways. Pleasant to be with and flexible. Spoke English well. Would highly recommend.
Dear Rona, Thank you very much for your nice review and encouraging words. It was my great pleasure sharing wonderful time with you and your husband. I also enjoyed learning a lot from you about current topics and issues in USA. Looking forward to seeing both of you again in the near future. Wishing you all the best! Masaharu
Masaharu was ok but it could have been better if he would share insights and historical background of the places we visited. We were lucky to see the clearest view of Mt Fuji and it was awesome! Overall we enjoyed our 1 day Hakone tour. Thanks Masaharu!
Hello Florice, Thank you for your inspiring comments. It was great pleasure sharing wonderful time for viewing Mt Fuji from Hakone. Frankly speaking, if we had more time, we could have visited the museum. But If we did it, shops must have been already closed by the time we went there. As you noticed, shops immediately closed during your shopping. So, it was physically difficult to achieve both historical insights walk on the steep ground and comfortable walk around the lake and shopping with two year old baby with you. And it actually took around 11 hours totally. Anyway, thank you for your valuable advice. Masaharu
Absolutely incredible tour of the key attractions in Tokyo. Thank you so much for an amazing day - cannot recommend Masaharu enough for a great day out.
Dear Katrina & Pinos, Thank you very much for your nice review and warm message. It was my great pleasure helping you enjoy characteristic features of Tokyo. Looking forward to seeing you again. Wishing you all the best! Masaharu
Friendly but has limited knowledge. Helpful though
Dear Madeleine, Thank you for very encouraging comment for my further improvement of service.
It was our third visit of Tokyo, having seen most of the tourist attractions that were recommenced by friends, TripAdvisor and various Japan travel guides during our past two stays. So we retained the service of a private guide this time, to take us off the beaten path a bit, and were glad that we did. We visited Asakusa and did the usual tourists’ sighting and shopping in this popular venue, then visited Ryogoku (the sumo stadium) and even had the traditional sumo wrestler meal for lunch. Next, we headed to the Edo Museum (where Masa gave us a far better explanation of what we saw than any robotic recorded guide that we could have rented would). To really step off the beaten path, we visted the Yanaka Village last, where we learned even more new things about the Japanese culture from Ma... read more
Dear Donald-san, Thank you for your nice review and very encouraging message. It was my great pleasure sharing your valuable time together in touring around characteristic spots in Tokyo. I am just grateful if you enjoyed learning various aspects of authentic history and traditional culture in off the beaten path places, as well as main tourists venues. I also enjoyed myself learning a lot from you through our conversation about many things in USA. Looking forward to seeing you again in the near future. Thank you very much again and wishing you all the best! Masaharu
