Would you like to have a private guide who is like your old friend and who caters to all of your needs when you are in Tokyo? I'm committed to offering you a stress-free, enjoyable, and memorable trip in which you can feel as if you are guided by a local Japanese, with personal warmth and without any language barrier.
My name is Koichiro (You can call me Koji:). I've stayed in Southern California for 3 years and graduated from an American college there. I am a licensed, professional English-speaking tour guide who loves having great time with people and would be truly glad to show you around Tokyo by sharing my knowledge and experiences as a professional guide and as a local. I'm more than happy to introduce you to hidden gems, authentic restaurants, and bars in Tokyo (Tokyo has the best food!).
I'd like to guide you as my real friend and will offer sheer hospitality and friendship to you so that you can truly value the moments in Tokyo. Every time I stayed abroad, I was welcomed and helped by the local people there. As a result, the memories of the time I spent with them have become the integral part of myself. I believe that making friendship and great moments with people with different backgrounds together would be the most inspirational, treasurable experience in our lives!
I'll explain Japanese things through the eyes of local Japanese so that you can have clearer ideas on what they really are.
I can draw up your original travel plan and am always flexible to your request, so please feel free to message me for any questions/suggestions:) Koji

We had a very memorable day with Koirchiro. He was very accommodating to our needs (many toilet stops for my daughter), great with teenagers and answered all my questions on history. He changed our itinerary at the last minute te to suit our requests and we fell in love with Tokyo! Thank you again and we will be back!

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys and Koichi was the perfect guide for us! He was full of information, great at finding things for the boys to try for the first time, gave us many ideas to fill the rest of our stay! We would recommend him wholeheartedly! He made our first day in Tokyo a day we will remember forever!
Nicole, thank you for taking your time to write a positive and encouraging review! Yesterday we visited the 3 major cities(Asakusa, Akihabara, Harajuku) and I'm sure it gave you clear ideas of the characteristics of Tokyo and its people! Above all, all of your welcoming attitude made the time truly special and memorable. Thank you for everything, I hope you have a finest trip to Nagano and Kyoto😁👍 Koichi
I really enjoyed the time I spent with Koichiro in Katsushika and Shibamata. I got to see a completely different side of Tokyo and I loved it. The places were very nice and I got to learn a lot about the Japanese way of life and way of thinking. I really recommend Koichiro as a tour guide for your stay in Japan.
Hi Erika, Thank you for your consideration for taking your time to write a great review! Even though we had only 4 hours and the day was very cold&windy, they didn't matter when we had a lot to see&talk😁 Thank you for everything and I do hope to see you again in the near future👍 Koichiro
We like to tour the first day of a trip and then go on our own after that in a City. Koichiro did a perfect job for that. He met us at our hotel lobby, took us to the Subway and helped us buy Subway passes and carefully explained how public transport works in Tokyo. The rest of the day we asked him many questions about the places we were visiting and he always had good explanations. We also asked him questions about destinations we were planning for the remainder of our stay in Tokyo and if it required research he would look online and call places for us and get answers as needed to set us on a good path for the rest of the trip. Koichori isn't the type of guide to stop and give a practiced speech aloud at each site. Instead he's more conversational - the more you ask about the sites and l... read more
