Would you like to have a private guide who caters to all of your needs when you are in Tokyo? I'd be happy to offer you a stress-free, enjoyable, and memorable trip in which you can feel as if you are guided by your local Japanese friend with personal warmth and without any language barrier.
Hello, my name is Koichiro (You can call me Koji:). I've stayed in Southern California for 3 years and graduated from an American college there. I am a licensed, professional English-speaking tour guide who loves having great time with people and would be truly glad to show you around Tokyo by sharing my knowledge and experiences as a professional guide and as a local. I'm more than happy to introduce you to hidden gems, authentic restaurants, and bars in Tokyo (Tokyo has the best food!).
I'd like to guide you as my real friend and will offer sheer hospitality and friendship to you so that you can truly value the moments in Tokyo. I'll explain Japanese things through the eyes of local Japanese so that you can have clearer ideas on what they really are.
I can draw up your original travel plan and am always flexible to your request, so please feel free to message me for any questions/suggestions!

Thank you Koji for this tour which you personalized for us
Hi Laurence, I'm glad that I could take you and your family to some off-the-beaten spots in Tokyo! I hope you enjoyed the time and wish you a nice trip👍 Thank you, Koji
We hired Koji for a 6 hour day tour in Tokyo from 8am to 2pm. He was on time, friendly and speaks good English. We visited many places in 6 hours and he was very flexible with our itinerary. He helped us purchase tickets for our train ride back to Narita Airport. He was very helpful and even carried our luggage for us because all of the station lockers were occupied when we met him at Shinagawa Station. We were in love with Japan and wanted to go back there for a longer stay not just an overnight lay over. We would like to hire Koji again in the future.
Hi Sharon, I'm glad that I could take you to Tsukiji, Meiji shrine and Shibuya Crossing in your 6-hour layover in Tokyo. It's great to have been able to get to know about you&your family and I do hope I'll be able to spend more time with all of you when you come to Tokyo again!! Thank you for sharing the great time😁 Koji
We had a great time with Koji during our stay in Tokyo. He was able to customize our itinerary each day to balance out what my teenage son and my wife and I wanted to do. He was always on time and flexable with our days as we became more in tune with what we wanted to see and do. He used the train and subway system to perfection we never had to wait. Thanks Koji!!
Hi Jeff, I'm glad that I could spend great and memorable time with you and your family by taking you to the finest places and restaurants in Tokyo! I'm also blessed that I could help Ryan prepare for his new campus life in LA by visiting so many anime and fashion stores (Tokyo is the best for shopping!). Thank you and I hope I'll be able to have a great time with you again😁 Koji
Koji was awesome. I gave him a few things I wanted to do and things that interested my son and he hit all of them and then some. Never did we feel rushed to the next location and it was actually relaxing to have someone guide us through Tokyo’s crazy subway system multiple times during our tour. Thanks koji!!
Marshall, I'm glad that I could introduce you and your son to Tokyo by visiting Tsukiji Fish Market, Asakusa, Akihabara, Shibuya and Shinjuku. I could reaffirm that OC is great! Thank you for everything, I wish you and Shane a wonderful trip to the west part of Japan (and hope you'll favor your time in Tokyo😁)! Koji
Koji was an excellent guide, prompt, very nice, knowledgeable, and flexible. When I showed him a list of things we were interested in, he was able to make adjustments to fit things in. He was able to take us to a currency exchange place which gave the best exchange rate we received in Tokyo. We went to Akakusa (Sensoji temple and shopping area), Akihabara (electronics shop, animal cafes) and Shibuya crossing. He graciously sent an album of his best travel pics. It was money well spent. We did a six hour tour.
Hi Serena, thank you for choosing me as you and your family's guide for one of your days in Tokyo! I'm glad that I could introduce Asakusa, Akihabara and Shibuya as well as some of the nice restaurants and stores in Tokyo. We had a lot of fun on the day and it reminded me of the memorable time when I was abroad in California and Korea. Thank you again and I hope you'll enjoy your trip to Kyoto🤗 Koji
