Welcome to Shizuoka in the central area of Japan.
I was born in Hakone , Kanagawa Pref. and grew up in Izu Peninsula, also studied English in Kanagawa University in Yokohama.
After graduation, I have traveled a lot of countries such as Europe, U,S.,Asia and lived in Australia for a year. I had a great time to visit there to have wonderful experience .
So I decided to become a licensed tour guide for introducing Japan to foreign tourists.
Now I live in Izu which is close to Mt.Fuji and Hakone.
I'm interested in Arts, Hot Springs, traditional places and of course delicious food.
I would like introduce beautiful Izu which have lots of Geo park sites and traditional Hot spring resort "Shuzenji, Nagaoka, and so on.
Please Enjoy this area together!!

Yasuko is an excellent tour guide who can speak English speaker well. She guided and taught us how to navigate the complicated train and bus system. We were able to see Mount Fuji very well from World heritage museum while many other people have to pay so much money to see it on the same day but they could not see it. She is very knowledgeable of local events. Using her knowledge of local information, she took us to a free event where we can try on the beautiful Kimono , learn about the tea ceremony and origami folding paper that were right next to our cruise ship. We also went on a Bullet train. We were able to do many things in one day. Without her guidance, we would have been lost and it would have been impossible to do all this in one day. Thank you so much Yasuko. We had a wonderful time.
We had a short amount of time in Shimizu from our cruise ship. Yasuko worked hard to arrange for taxi rides to Nihondaira and back. She had the taxi make a stop at a tea farm and she gave us a guided tour of the local fish market. She made the trip fun and informative. I would recommend her highly.
We we're very pleased with Yasuko as our guide. Her English is excellent as well as her knowledge of the area. Enjoyed eating the local noodles.
Yasuko provided excellent pre-tour contact to provide options before we docked in Shimizu for our tours. She pre-arranged our transportation for our group of 8 including one on wheelchair. Because we were able to contact her months before our tour we were able to pre-determine what we wanted to see. She was very flexible in changing our tour since some of what we plan to see was done in other port of call earlier in our tours. One suggestion would be to have a portable microphone so passengers in the back to hear her while during in the van.
Yasuko our guide picked us up at our hotel and escorted us to the Numazu fish market. The tour and especially the very interesting discussion at the end with the fish buyer stay in good memory. We really enjoyed the the morning together with her. Thank you so much Yasuko-san.
