Welcome to Shizuoka in the central area of Japan.
I was born in Hakone , Kanagawa Pref. and grew up in Izu Peninsula, also studied English in Kanagawa University in Yokohama.
After graduation, I have traveled a lot of countries such as Europe, U,S.,Asia and lived in Australia for a year. I had a great time to visit there to have wonderful experience .
So I decided to become a licensed tour guide for introducing Japan to foreign tourists.
Now I live in Izu which is close to Mt.Fuji and Hakone.
I'm interested in Arts, Hot Springs, traditional places and of course delicious food.
I would like introduce beautiful Izu which have lots of Geo park sites and traditional Hot spring resort "Shuzenji, Nagaoka, and so on.
Please Enjoy this area together!!

Awesome guide, fantastic time! Highly recommended!
Dear Kim-san Thank you soooo much for writing 5 stars review. I'm really happy to hear that you two really enjoyed my tour. So welcome back in Japan sometime.
We recently went on a Windstar cruise in Japan and had a short stop in Shimizo. We pre-booked a half day tour with local expert, Yasuko, to visit Shizuoka. We found Yasuko from a list of available private tour guides from the TripleLights.com website. From the planning stages, she communicated thoroughly with our itinerary and answered any and all questions very promptly. We had only half a day at port and so we wanted to see the Kunozan Toshogu Shrine and Mt. Fuji. She met us at the port and from there, she navigated our way effortlessly to the Nihondaira Ropeway by means of subways and bus. She was amazing with her time scheduling, knowing where and when we should be at any one moment. Yasuko's English is excellent. She explained the history, culture and meaning of the various ... read more
Dear Jamie san, Thank you for writing the review about my tour, I' m really happy to hear that you enjoyed very much on that day. We were really lucky to visit Toshogu shrine on the special day, could through the main gate and see the special decoration. I could manage the tour schedule punctually, but it depended on your ship schedule for helpful with transport timetable. New observation deck will be opening on Nov. 3rd, you will be back in shimizu sometime. Thank you so much.
Yasuko met us coming off of the Diamond Princess, which docked in Shimizu. We planned for an 8 hour tour but ran out of steam. Yasuko was on-time for everything and communicated very well throughout the process. We had the opportunity to use local buses and local commuter trains. We tried Sake at a brewery, a Mt. Fuji Shrine, and the Mt Fuji museum. We also visited a large waterfall in the Mt. Fuji area and made it back in time for our daughter to try on a Kimono. Overall we really enjoyed our time with Yasuko and appreciate all the effort she made to make sure we had a great time. Thank you, Adam
Thank you for your review, Adam san. I'm really happy to hear that you & family especially your daughter had fun. She was so cute to wear kimono, looked quite happy. It was not really good weather for the view of Mt. Fuji, but you tried almost everything you could experience around Shimizu port. I hope you will be back in sometime in Japan. If you don't mind I will put upload your photos on this site. Thank you so much, Adam & family. Yasuko
Yasuko is an excellent tour guide who can speak English speaker well. She guided and taught us how to navigate the complicated train and bus system. We were able to see Mount Fuji very well from World heritage museum while many other people have to pay so much money to see it on the same day but they could not see it. She is very knowledgeable of local events. Using her knowledge of local information, she took us to a free event where we can try on the beautiful Kimono , learn about the tea ceremony and origami folding paper that were right next to our cruise ship. We also went on a Bullet train. We were able to do many things in one day. Without her guidance, we would have been lost and it would have been impossible to do all this in one day. Thank you so much Yasuko. We had a wonder... read more
