Welcome to Japan! My name is Chiaki. I’m a government licensed guide interpreter, a wife and mother of two grown-up children. I’ve been living in Tokyo area for 30 years so I know the area well.
If you don’t want to miss popular “must see” places in Tokyo, wish to eat a variety of Japanese popular and delicious food, have particular interest in something like Japanese theatrical arts, or are tired of tourist spots and like to see the real life of people in Japan, I can help you.
I work as a tour guide to show you the city around according to your objective of traveling, interests, conditions, etc. I also carry out a tour for international visitors to experience ordinary life of the people. In either case, I want to hear your thoughts and ideas carefully for our day together before fixing the plan.
My goal is to help make your travel in Japan as memorable and fulfilling as possible. If I can serve you to make your special trip more special, it will be my pleasure.
The prices below are for a private tour for you and your partner, family or friends.

It was a rainy day but Chiaki made it a great day. She was patient with my 2 young girls and took the time to explain many things to my 11 year old who asked a ton of questions. Chiaki was flexible and had a long list of possible things to do depending on the weather conditions. She was an excellent guide who I’d recommend to anyone.
Thank you Michael, for your wonderful comment! Although it was rainy, we had a great day and I enjoyed every moment with you and your beautiful family. Your daughters are so cute and active that they remind me my happy days traveling with young kids. I also had a great time talking with your wife. I hope you enjoy your long vacation in Japan and Canada and go back home safely. Thank you again!
It was an absolute pleasure to meet Chiaki, she was very flexible and went above and beyond to fulfill my needs, she helped me with my belongings during my hotel to hotel transfer Which she was not assigned to. She is very trustworthy and an absolutely fabulous guide. I will hire her any day.
Thank you so much for your excellent review, Chowdhury! I really enjoyed the days with you. Even we couldn't see the summit of Mt. Fuji, we spent a beautiful day in Kawaguchiko area. The trees were so fresh and green. I hope you have a good rest at home and visit Tokyo again in the near future with your family. Thank you again and please take care!
I honestly can't thank Chiaki enough! She met me at my hotel and greeted me with a big smile. She gave me a few options and we then embarked on our journey by foot. She was kind enough to show me how to buy train tickets and where to go to use them. I lost my ticket at one stage and she was super helpful. We went to temples, ate Takoyaki and Udon, went to a fish market, Sensoji temple, a viewing deck, akihabara and many in between places. Chiaki took me under her wing. She directed me and made me feel comfortable at all times, just like a bestfriend. She was informative, knew all the great places to go and was warm and kind. She even helped me sort a few things out at my hotel. It was hard to say goodbye because we had such a great day together. I will never forget your kindness Chiaki :)... read more
Thank you so much for your great review, Rachel! I'm glad to know that you enjoyed the tour. It was a big pleasure for me to guide you. You are such a lovely person to be with. Yes, we ate delicious Japanese food and now we are the members of Takoyaki Ball Lover Club! Visiting a maid cafe in Akihabara was also fun. I hope you continue your trip to Osaka, Thailand and Singapore safely and smoothly. I'm looking forward to seeing you again in the near future. ARIGATOU GOZAIMASITA!
We had an early start with Chiaki on April 13th, 2019 with Chiaki meeting us at our Hotel Lobby. A pleasant lady who took us around to see the sites of the old and the new parts of Tokyo. We explored the Sensoji Temple and market areas. Moved onto the Imperial palace where we explored the vast gardens and walked into modern Tokyo. Rikugien was off the beated track as i wanted to see this beautiful garden of poetry. Waka poets were inspired by this peaceful area. Chiaki seemed well versed in this area of poetry. Thank you Chiaki for showing us around and also the train system which we learned to master subsequently. Best wishes to you The Raux Family
Thank you Kalani, for your review! I’m glad to know that you had enjoyable time in Japan. Rikugien became the favorite Japanese Garden for me, too, because we talk about the world of Japanese poetry and had wonderful time together. I’m also happy that my tour was helpful for getting accustomed to the complicated train system. Hope to meet you again in Japan! Best wishes to you, too!
We had a lovely day in Tokyo with Chiaka as our guide. She met us at our hotel, and introduced us to the Tokyo Subways, always be attentive that we didn't get separated. We visited several sites in the city and at each one she was very knowledgeable . Chiaka was a very personable and comfortable guide to be with. She gave us a lovely tour and insight into Tokyo. I would recommend her as your choice of guide when visiting this city.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Emily! I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed my tour. After we parted, I was worried if your leg hurt badly. I had a great day with you and Maxine, too. I cannot forget two lovely ladies enjoying ice creams in Asakusa. I hope you will visit Japan and meet me again someday. Please be careful when you drive the long way!
