Hi everyone! My name is Lisa.
Thank you very much for checking out my profile.
I am originally from Osaka, Japan, and completed my Bachelor’s Degree from Kyoto Prefecture University in architecture. During my stay in Kyoto I volunteered as a tour guide for foreign visitors.
After graduation I moved to Tokyo and worked in the marketing and promotions field. On weekends I continued to work as a tour guide volunteer in Tokyo.
I have also studied at the University of California, Irvine and worked for a tech company in Anaheim California. It was great oppotuniay for me to see Japan from foreigner's perspective.
My happiness for meeting new people and learning my own culture through guiding foreign visitors kept increasing and that made me decide to become a professional tour guide.
I offer tailor-made tours for individuals or groups. I have met a lot of wonderful people through tour guiding and look forward to the many more friends I will make.
My strength is the stock of Japan's historical and architectural knowledge, which I believe makes your Japan experience fun and interesting especially when you are visiting Japan's old capitals.
During my tour I will share with you historical contents of places or structures you are visiting so that you can understand the reason why you meet present Japan. I have friendly and mindful nature which will make your Japan experience greater!
Please feel free to message me if you have any question about your Japan trip!
Hope to see you soon in my tour.

We had a memorable time with Lisa. She catered to most of our specifications. She got us to places in a quick and efficient manner. She is very good and patient with children. She is a knowledgeable guide and speaks and understands english well.
Lisa was wonderful guide in Kyoto. She was knowledgeable ,fun to be with, and met our needs 100%. We couldn’t have asked for more. We give her 10 star rating Maydelle and Sam Fason
My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Japan and Lisa was our 3rd guide for the trip. What an amazing woman. Lisa is insightful and knowledgeable, she made our trip in Kyoto the most wonderful experience. We had planned on going to Nara but decided we would rather go to Osaka to see a baseball game and she rearranged our trip in a blink of an eye. I could write a novel on how sweet and attentive she was the entire tour. She made the best trip of our lives even more special. A++++++++++++
To understand the present you must know the past. With her knowledge and experience Lisa helped make the most of our first ever visit to Japan. As a local in Osaka and Kyoto, we felt we were in the best hands possible. Would recommend her services to anyone visiting. Josef Bashe and Family.
She was excellent. Lisa is easy to understand and had a broad and deep knowledge of the historical significance of the many sights we saw together during a full day in Kyoto. We were a group of six adults speaking multiple native languages. Lisa's English is so good we all understood without difficulty. She shepherded us on public transportation during the crowds of cherry blossom season and kept us on schedules in the most pleasant way. At the end of the day, she escorted us all the way back to our hotel even tho we told her we could handle it. Them, we lost one couple. Lisa looked and looked for them with us. (They were fine.) Anyone would be lucky to have Lisa as a guide. We liked her so well, we invited her to visit us in the US.
