Welcome to Japan!!!
My name is Takashi(Tak) and I am a licensed tour English guide in Japan.
I've lived in Tokyo about 7 years. I was born in New York and When I was 7 years old, I came to Japan.
I love trips!!! I've visited 80 countries for last 15 years. it is very exciting to find new culture and I am addicted for it. One of my favorite city to stay is Tokyo. I can guide you both for the traditional part and the modern part in Tokyo. For the traditional part, I like Asakusa, Tsukiji fish market and Yanaka area to walk around. For the modern part, I like Harajuku and Akihabara because it is very original in Japan and you can find very specific culture only this area in the world.
In the home, I am a father of 3 kids. My kids ages are 5 years old, 3 years old and 9 months old. I know how to arrange an itinerary with little kids. I welcome a guest with little kids! I can make the original and special tour for your family which kids can also enjoy.
Furthermore, I welcome a guest who visits Japan for the purchase of Japanese product and good. If you have a specific good you would like to purchase, it is very hard to purchase it on EC website because all information is written in Japanese. Or if the good is not sold on EC website, we need to find a shop which sell the good.
I am also an interpreter for business meeting.
When you need some help for your negotiation with Japanese company, I can offer you business support service for you. Please feel free to contact us to ask about an additional option.
Regarding my business experience, I had worked for one of the biggest Japanese investment and trading company for 12 years. I have a lot of business experience build bridges between Japanese companies and foreign companies especially in USA, Europe and the Middle East. In 2012, I went Dubai to work as marketing and sales manager. I had worked there for about 3.5 years and I've done a lot of business negotiation. To be frank, Japanese business culture is unique compared to global standard. And
if you are not used to doing business with Japanese companies, I believe you need a help.
Thank you very much for reading my introduction!
I hope to see you soon in Japan!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Tsukiji Fish Market and Asakusa area with Takashi as our guide. His knowledge of Japanese culture and history, along with his excellent ability to communicate in English, allowed our multigenerational group to maximize our time in Tokyo. He guided us through busy streets and patiently explained about the various sights, foods and products along the way. We were able to experience and understand so much more of the culture as a result of our time with Takashi in Tokyo. Thank you!
We are a family of four, with two kids aged 13 and 12. Takashi met us at our hotel in Ginza, got us started with Pasmo cards to use for train tickets, and guided us for most of a day. He took us first to the Meiji Jingu temple and showed us how to pass through each of the temple gates with appropriate respect (stop and bow at each gate), how to use the water ladles for purification before entering the main temple, and explained the locals use the various parts of the temple. At nearby Takeshita Street in Harajuku, our kids were fascinated with the colours, the costumes, and the photo booths. Lunch at the Kawaii monster cafe was a highlight. Takashi was patient with us and gave us excellent explanations in answer to all our questions.
Hello! It was great to see you and your family. And thank you very much for your sweet gifts from New Zealand! Harajuku area is one of the unique area in Japan. It was nice to try photo booth (we call Print club) as Japanese girls in Harajuku. And we enjoyed time at the Kawaii monster cafe a lot. They just started Halloween decoration for foods and the food decoration was amazing. Please come back to Japan for your vacation. I would like to recommend to visit other cities Osaka & Kyoto next time. It is different from Tokyo and you will find different food, culture and people!
We met our tour guide Tak at the metro station in Harajuku, and from the get go, he was amazing and very friendly. His knowledge on all the different locations and the history of all of Tokyowas impressive. To Tak, thanks for taking your time with us and answering all the questions we asked and making it look a day our with friends and not tourists.
Dear Mr. Tom It was great to see you and I ‘m happy because you enjoy time yesterday. Please enjoy your stay in Japan! And please be careful of big typhoon hitting Japan in the coming weekend. Will let you know any emergency.
Takashi was very patient and professional. He provided great interpretation for the home plazas that we had visited and helped us find the information we needed. He has sound experience in international business relations so his language abilities between Japanese and English were very smooth. We had a great time working with him, and are grateful to have found someone who is friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable. Next time we are in Tokyo, we will definitely be working with him again!
