I'm Shinobu Saito, in Sapporo, Hokkaido. I have an interpreter guide's qualification, and a tour conductor qualification. I can guide all places in Hokkaido and can guide Kyoto, Nara, Tokyo, etc because I've been to those places. I'm looking forward to seeing you from all over the world.
I want you to experience sushi-making, Japanese sweets-making, glass blowing. Those experiences will lead to deepen your memories in Japan.

Our tour of Hakodate gave us a good feel for the city. We took the trams to/from different parts of the city. Shinobu guided us thru the intricacies but had a problem describing the culture, telling us the history of the city and understanding what we wanted to do. Although he tries very hard, his English needs much improvement before continuing with English tours. We had 2 Australians, 2 Canadians, and 5 Americans on the tour. None of us could understand him when asking a question. On the good side, he was very responsive to my emails, he wanted to show us the best parts of Hakodate, and he went the extra mile to ensure we received a good tour.
Was good as escort but not as guide. No information about city or attraction was given. Did not show initiative to make trip comfortable by small gestures. We went for sight seeing directly from airport. I was carrying 3 bags but did not volunteer to hold the bag while getting into bus or showing tickets. Spoken english could be better if not fluent. Was helpful in rebooking Shinkasen ticket.
He is so kind and caring, respectful and his english not bad, but the point of all, he knows what i mean and very helpful tour guide. I have such excellent moment with him. Thanks shinobu-san
My family thoroughly enjoyed our trip in Otaru, the glass blowing experience and the sushi-making were well received by my 4 yr old son. Shinobu-san is very helpful and polite. The only comment is that the cost quoted for both the glass blowing and sushi-making were only for 1 person, but this trip was for 3 of us - myself, my husband and my son, so the cost of the trip was 3x than what was quoted for the activities cost estimate.
He is an Accommodative and friendly guide . He can adapt to last min changes of the itinerary. Helped my kids during their skiing lesson and he fulfilled most of our request throughout the journey . Overall we give him a 8/10 . He needs to improve on his command of English otherwise all are good ! Keep up the good work and thanks for the wonderful 5 days journey
