Hello! I am Nobuko. Call me Nobu. I am a national licensed tour guide. I used to work in a publishing company as a book editor for 23 years. I was born and raised in Tokyo. I live in Tokyo with my family. I make it a point to update myself with what's new in Tokyo and in cities outside of it like Hakone, Kamakura, Yokohama and so on.
I love pottery making. I like to appreciate Japanese antique artworks like ceramics, lacquerwares, woven fabrics, ukiyoe, and Buddhist statues. I have visited India, Dubai, Thailand, Tahiti, Turkey, Greece, England, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Italy, France, Bergen, U.S.A, Australia, etc. As a well traveled person, I would like to guide you like a friend in a relaxed atmosphere. I take pleasure in communicating with various people from different cultures.
I am flexible to adjusting to your requests. Feel free to ask me about anything. I look forward to creating wonderful memories of Japan with you. See you soon!

Nobuko was an ideal match for us as our guide. From the start, her communication was quick and effective. She laid out an efficient plan for the day that included our chosen sites, along with a recommendation for ramen for our allergy restricted diet. We had little hope of finding a gluten-free, no pork, no corn ramen on our own! We enjoyed the quick pace of the day. Nobuko proved to be informative, flexible and friendly. She was knowledgeable on the subjects of our interests: architecture, design, and history. We only had one full day in Tokyo and we would not have been able to visit as many sites, or learned so much about each place, if not for the efficiency and skill of our guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Nobuko. By the way, the ramen was simply amazing!
Dear Jill, Thank you very much for your warm message. We walked a lot yesterday, but I enjoyed talking with you and Dean during the tour. I leaned Hawai and Firipino culture from you. It was very interesting! And I am happy to know both of you enjoyed ゛vegi soba”, because it is my favorite ramen. Anyway, I spent a very interesting time with both of you. Please enjoy the rest of the days in Japan. Please send my best regards to Dean. I hope we can meet again! Nobuko
My wife and I were on our second trip to Tokyo and found Nobu to be an excellent guide. She clearly understood the sights we wanted to see and made additional recommendations that we would not have come up with on our own. She was very helpful translating for us in shops, restaurants, and the Tsukiji fish market as well as navigating the Tokyo metro. She went above and beyond in helping us figure out where to pick-up our baseball tickets. Her English is strong, she is knowledgeable, and definitely someone we will work with on our next trip to Japan.
Dear Joshua, Thank you for very wonderful review！I also enjoyed the tour with you and Shannon. I am happy indeed to know you and Shannon were satisfied with the stay in Tokyo very much. It was also very good memory to visit Tsukiji Inner Market with you and Shannon on the last day for visitors. I am looking forward to seeing you and Shannon again in Tokyo. I think my English speaking ability will be more improved until we meet next time! Best regards, Nobu
