Hello! I am Nobuko. Call me Nobu. I am a national licensed tour guide. I used to work in a publishing company as a book editor for 23 years. I was born and raised in Tokyo. I live in Tokyo with my family. I make it a point to update myself with what's new in Tokyo and in cities outside of it like Hakone, Kamakura and so on.
I love pottery making. I like to appreciate Japanese antique artworks like ceramics, lacquerwares, woven fabrics, ukiyoe, and Buddhist statues. I have visited India, Dubai, Thailand, Tahiti, Turkey, Greece, England, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Italy, France, Bergen, U.S.A, Australia, etc. As a well traveled person, I would like to guide you like a friend in a relaxed atmosphere. I take pleasure in communicating with various people from different cultures.
I am flexible to adjusting to your requests. Feel free to ask me about anything. I look forward to creating wonderful memories of Japan with you. See you soon!

Nobuko was our guide for Tokyo. She was knowledge and insightful regarding Japanese culture and sites. She was patient and thoughtful. At the end of the day, there was a problem with the train we were taking; took us an extra hour to get home. She quickly found us a new route and made sure we got back to the hotel safely. We felt very well cared for and had a wonderful time.
Dear Sarina, Thank you so much for your warm comments! I am very pleased to know you were satisfied with our tour. I also enjoyed to show you around Tokyo. You were so curious! By the way, we were surprised to meet the sudden accident of the train, weren’t we? I t was also my first experience. Please send my best regards to Marcos and Ron! Nobuko

Thank you very much for your kind review. Even though it was a little bit chilly outseide, we walked a lot. I spent a joyful time with you and enjoy talking with you very much. I would like to guide you more places next time. See you again.
Don’t know what we would have done in Tokyo without Nobuko! She helped us plan our itinerary for the day and met us at our hotel in the morning. It was a very rainy day, so we had to change our plans in the afternoon. Nobuko came up with an alternative visit to a fire ceremony which was very interesting and well worth seeing. she went out of her way to help us with some shopping, as one of our bags did not arrive on time. Just wish we had a few more days in Tokyo to have her guide us!
Dear Pru, Thank you very much for your heartwarming review ! It was so interesting to talk with you about making potteries. Additionally I enjoyed visiting a pottery gallery with you so much. Let’s visit art museums together when you come to Japan next time. See you ! Nobuko
Nobuko took the email us to ensure that we had the right itinerary before we left . On the day were late joining her but she reorganised the schedule so that we could see everything we wanted to plus a couple of other sights . She was charming and we enjoyed her knowledge as well as spending time with her . Thank you Nobuko .
Thank you for your wonderful review! We were really lucky today, weren't we? We could see beautiful Mt. Fuji covered with snow from Komagatake Ropeway . Besides, I was also impressed with the vast fields of pampass grass near Sengokubara. They were fantastic experiences for me, too! I really enjoyed the tour with you so much. I hope you will have a very good time in the rest of the days in Japan, too. Please give my regards to Frances. I am looking forward to seeing you again on Tokyo Olympic days in 2020 !
