Hello! I am Nobuko. Call me Nobu. I am a national licensed tour guide. I used to work in a publishing company as a book editor for 23 years. I was born and raised in Tokyo. I live in Tokyo with my family. I make it a point to update myself with what's new in Tokyo and in cities outside of it like Hakone, Kamakura, Yokohama and so on.
I love pottery making. I like to appreciate Japanese antique artworks like ceramics, lacquerwares, woven fabrics, ukiyoe, and Buddhist statues. I have visited India, Dubai, Thailand, Tahiti, Turkey, Greece, England, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Italy, France, Bergen, U.S.A, Australia, etc. As a well traveled person, I would like to guide you like a friend in a relaxed atmosphere. I take pleasure in communicating with various people from different cultures.
I am flexible to adjusting to your requests. Feel free to ask me about anything. I look forward to creating wonderful memories of Japan with you. See you soon!

Nobuko picked us up at our hotel and then escorted my husband and I through several key sights: Tsukiji outer market, Hamarikyu gardens, Meiji shrines, Sensoji-Temple in Asakusa, river cruise, lunch at Asakusa. All the way, she kindly explained everything about each sight and answered our many questions. She is very knowledgeable and attentive. We really loved our tour and would highly recommend Nobuko!
Dear Brenda and Bruce, Thank you very much for your wonderful review ! It was a very cold day on February 16 , isn't it? However I also enjoyed the tour with you. I was very happy to know you enjoyed the destinations we visited and Japanese food at lunch. I would like you to come to Japan again and show you Tokyo more. I look forward to seeing you again. Best regards, Nobuko
Nobuko was very responsive and courteous during the negotiation stage and on the tour itself. The tour closely followed the proposal, and we covered all the landmarks Nobuko suggested: Sensoji-Temple with Nakamise Shopping Street in Asakusa, Shibuya Crossing, and Meiji Jingu Shrine. We also walked along Takeshita street with a little time left. Lunch at a venue Nobuko suggested near Shibuya Crossing was simple but exquisite. Nobuko's narrative about the places we saw was thoughtful and engaging. It was a pleasure to have Nobuko introduce Tokyo to me!
Dear Vitali, Thank you indeed for your heartwarming review ! It encourages me very much. It was the first time for me to guide a guest stopping over in Tokyo. The tour time was strictly limited by the boarding time, so my heart was a little bit pounding. However, I am very happy to know you enjoyed our short tour. Especially, Japanese Sake was so nice at lunch, wasn't is? I hope you will visit Japan and stay longer in Tokyo. I am looking forward to guide you other places in Tokyo. See you !
Nobuko was an amazing tour guide, she went all out to help us to get Shinkansen ticket to Kyoto. She was also very helpful and thoughtful. She have my recommendation for someone seeking all out Tokyo experience in a day.
Dear Siti, Thank you very much for your warm message! I really enjoyed the tour with you and Mickel. I hope you enjoyed Tokyo Disney Land & Kyoto after we separated. And could you see Mt.Fuji from the bullet train to Kyoto? Please come to Japan again. Then let's have a longer tour in Tokyo. I wish your success in your business in your country. Please give my best regards to Mickel. Nobuko
Nobu is an excellent guide. Knowledgeable, punctual, organised, and flexible to accommodate your needs. On our first day in Tokyo, we would have been lost without Nobu. Thank you for a great day!
Hi, Bas ! Thank you for a great review. You and your family were so curious, cheerful, and kind, so I really enjoyed the tour with all of you yesterday. Besides, The episodes of your country was so interesting and I learned a lot from it. Please enjoy the rest of the days in Japan, especially in Niseko and visit Tokyo again in the future. Please send my best regards to Louisa, Ally and Max !
We had a great day touring Tokyo! Nobuko was an expert at the subway which we took all day! And we learned how to use it for the rest of our stay which was very helpful. She took us per our request to find excellent chef knives!! We visited the market, the double bridge at the imperial palace, shrines and temples and had an excellent ramen lunch! Highly recommend her for your tour of Tokyo! She also made sure we knew how to get to Tokyo Disney which we visited a few days later!!
Dear Theodore, Thank you so much for your wonerful message. I really enjoy the tour with all of you. As a Japanese, I was impressed with Lorane' s genuin sushi cooking pictures. And I am pleased to know she bought knives for cooking sushi. By the way, How was Tokyo Disney Land? I hope all of you enjoyed it very much though it was very cold outside. Please send my best wishes to Jenuis and Lorane (I am sorry, if I mistake the spelling of names). See you again !
