Hiroko is very informative and was able to come up with a great tour plan without much direction from us. We arrived in Tokyo and just told her what we didn't want to see (because we already had some other tours lined up that would cover those things). She came up with a great itinerary on the spot. She took us to Asakusa-jinja shrine and explained to us how the prayer and washing ritual work, which was very informative to us for the rest of the trip. She explained how Buddhism and Shinto co-exist in Japan. It started pouring rain, and she quickly thought to take us to the department stores in Ginza and showed us the basement food courts (out of this world!) and the fine craft/books level with exquisite items to view. At the end of our tour, she dropped us off at the best Ramen place. She helped us along the way with tons of useful advice (such as how to use the subways) and entertained us with stories of her time in the US living in Kansas. Overall, just an absolutely wonderful tour with a wonderful guide. I would recommend Hiroko hands-down!
Hiroko is a excelent tour guide, i enjoyed it very much,
Hiroko was an absolute pleasure to walk stroll around the city with! She showed us parts that we could have not seen without her while giving us insight in local daily lives. She was also wonderful with or daughter! Thank you again Hiroko for the delightful tour :)
Hiroko made our day in Tokyo absolutely fantastic. Hiroko structured an itinerary that met exactly what we were looking to do and more. We accomplished so much in just 4 hours and by the end of the tour we felt like experts on how to get around Tokyo. This tour was unique in that we were able to balance our time focusing on both the special past of Japan and what it means to live in Tokyo today. We also happen to love food experiences and Hiroko gave us quite the tour of food vendors. We even meandered through shops we would have likely never given a chance if it were not for Hiroko’s insight. As if the tour was not enough, Hiroko generously prepared maps and ideas of other activities for us to do on our stay. I highly suggest inviting Hiroko to be a part of your adventure in Japan.
Hiroko was very sweet! And an expert in this field. English fluently. And she was very sweet to my 9 years old son. Lovely personality. And generous with information around Tokyo. I surely recommend her to everyone here! Thank you Hiroko and thank you Triple lights.
