“ 6 hour Tsukiji Market and Asakusa tour and assistance with JR train tickets ”

Hiroko was a 5+ star guide. She was always smiling, friendly, attentive to our needs plus more. We were a party of 4. Two in early 60s, one in 70s and one in 80s. Hiroko was very flexible to our needs as our interest changed during our tour. She went out of her way to take me to a store to get tiramisu chocolate covered almonds that my daughter wanted. She was very interested and took steps in trying to help us connect with relatives in Hiroshima. If you know ahead of time what and where you want to do including specific things you'd like to shop for, communicate with Hiroko ahead of time and she will do her best to give you what you desire. This was our first time using TripleLights service and because of the excellent service from the time we booked the tour until the finish, we wi... read more

“ Best ? Guide ? EVER ”

Hiroko Is everything you could want in a guide. She is extremely knowledgeable, interesting, funny, compassionate, and is very hard-working. We had some special requests and she was happy to accommodate us. We got a lot done in that short amount of time we had with her which was seven hours, and we could easily have used her services for another three or four days. She is absolutely delightful and I highly recommend her to anyone.

“ Fun morning at the Tsukiji fishmarket ”

Hiroko was alot of fun to spend a morning with at the Tsukiji fish market. My two daughters (14 and 11) really enjoyed the tour and the insights she shared with us. Hiroko's English was excellent and she showed up right on time. I'd recommend her highly for any tour and I hope we can find an excuse to come back to Japan for another tour with her in the future.

“ We had so much fun with Hiroko! ”

Hiroko is very informative and was able to come up with a great tour plan without much direction from us. We arrived in Tokyo and just told her what we didn't want to see (because we already had some other tours lined up that would cover those things). She came up with a great itinerary on the spot. She took us to Asakusa-jinja shrine and explained to us how the prayer and washing ritual work, which was very informative to us for the rest of the trip. She explained how Buddhism and Shinto co-exist in Japan. It started pouring rain, and she quickly thought to take us to the department stores in Ginza and showed us the basement food courts (out of this world!) and the fine craft/books level with exquisite items to view. At the end of our tour, she dropped us off at the best Ramen place. She ... read more
